FliP Crepes make tasty gluten free crepes. I am gluten intolerant and I am so happy I can have a place to satisfy my sweet tooth. They have breakfast crepes, savor and sweet crepes, bagels, and pitas, all of it gluten free. They do have “wufels” which contain wheat but I have yet to see someone order it here. I ordered the smokehouse crepe which is a slow roasted chicken, onion, spinach and garlic sauce. I have had it three times. Only one time the chicken was incredibly dry and made the whole crepe taste terrible. I have also ordered the Strawberry dream crepe which is filled with sweat cream, strawberries, jelly, and almonds. I am allergic to almonds and asked them to not include them and they are very compliant to my allergies. I also am allergic to bananas and I noticed the past 6 crepes he made had banana in it so I asked him nicely if he could change the chopping board and gloves. He did change everything and I was very happy. The Strawberry dream crepe literally puts you in a trance. The sweet cream melts in your mouth and the fresh strawberries with jelly are simply the perfect combination. I have been here numerous times bringing friends, family, and coworkers. I would recommend anyone looking for their most bang for their buck to definitely come here. Crepes cost from $5.50 to $9 not including the B.Y.O. Crepes.

Located inside the French Market,this place has sweet and savory crepes that are quickly made. You order at the counter and then slide to your left to pick up your crepe. You can watch them make it in front of you. Got the banana Nutella crepe that had candied pecans to-go and split it with a friend for a snack. I did enjoy the thickness of the crepe and how they wrapped it almost like a burrito so you don’t need a fork and knife to eat it but my friend felt it could’ve been cooked a bit longer. Also, the Nutella wasn’t spread out all the way so when you get to the ends, it’s just crepe with no filling. They take credit card and they also have drinks like lattes available.

I really like this place, the staff was very friendly and the service was fast. It is a good size portion. My recommendation is shiitake tofu roasted Shiitake-garlic mushrooms, marinated tofu, two over-medium eggs, organic grape tomatoes, watermelon radishes and baby arugula

Gluten free crepes!!! I walked 30 minutes across town to try them and it was so worth it! I got the strawberry dream and subbed nutella for the strawberry jam and it was incredible. I've tried every gluten free crepes I can find when I travel and they have all been sub par until more. You would never know these were gluten free. They're moist, springy, and perfect. I also ordered the smokehouse dinner crepe (chicken, backing, spinach, gouda, and some weird sauce) and it was disgusting but I'm not factoring that into my review. Whatever sauce they put on it (Dijon pear something maybe?) Seriously almost made me sick, but the chicken and crepe dough was good so I are what I could. Maybe other people would like it? But, the desert crepes are to die for so come try it out!

I've never had such a brilliant crepe experience and EVERYTHING was gluten free! The ingredients were so fresh and the flavor blends were perfectly complimentary! The crepes themselves: the sweet vanilla ones were soft and tender, the savory had such a crispiness from the buckwheat/millet bend with just the right bitter cut against the doughy flavor. It's so exciting that you can buy the mixes yourself! I would not be able to come back to Chicago without eating here again!

It was beyond DELICIOUS! I was craving crepes for lunch, and I do not regret it. I bought the Banatella and Regular Butter Crepe, and I was highly satisfied. A little pricey, but worth every penny. What amazed me even more, was the delivery, the guy was here 10 minutes before the actual delivery time, which was great because I was getting so hungry! Love LOVE, LOVEEE this place!

The blueberry lemon crepe was amazing. You can't tell the crepes are GF. The dessert crepes have the right amount of sweetness without being overpowering. I've had some of the savory crepes but they are more like wraps and less like authentic crepes you would get in Paris.

Good selection of sweet and savory crepes. The restaurant uses fresh ingredients, making the crepes very good for a reasonable price. Its situated in a nice French Market in West Loop. Ordered the Banana Nutella crepe and it was really delicious. It unconventionally comes in a burrito shape, making it slightly easier to eat without a fork and knife.

Flip crepes was the most amazing experience I’ve ever had. The French owner the is most hospitable and honest person. He will help anyone find what they are looking for and need. Give this place a try because you will not be disappointed. Very delicious!!

Very slow service at 9am on a Friday. Sure it wasn't crowded,but I digress. A guy in front of me gave his order (a crepe or 2),I gave my order of a crepe with Nutella and walnuts and a girl behind me ordered. 20 mins go by,a Doordash order goes out,the guy's food is done,the girl's food is done and I'm still waiting for some dumb old Wufel with Nutella that takes less than 5 mins with a can of pop! 20 friggin minutes! They were so dang slow. Do they like or want their job? Probably not. Love the food,not the service.
