This tiny place is easy to miss. But if you find your way in you will be very happy you did! I fell in love with El Salvadorian food after I visited the country a few years ago. This place may not be fancy but the food is delicious, homemade and freshly prepared! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Everything was delicious!! I definitely recommend the pupusa de chicharron con frijoles and the fresh maracuya. Everything ordered was a 10/10. Great friendly service and staff.

Pupusas made vegan! Food is fresh and made to order. They have a variety for pupuas and you can make your own combination of ingredients. To make mine vegan I ordered loroco, frijoles and jalapeño combo. Hubby ordered traditional pupusas. We dined in and waited a bit, but they were pretty busy. I noticed every table got chips and salsa except us, not sure if everyone just happened to order it though (I didn’t ask for it, just an observation). Also, I had to ask for the salsa de tomate and the curtido, which is standard with pupusas. Located in somewhat of a busy street and only has street parking.

Food was good, a little simple but good. I only give it 4 stars cause we waited for 30 minutes to get our food . The order to go were coming out faster then ours.🤦🏻‍♀️

This is a great little restaurant. The food is hand made. If you are in the mood for something different, than try this Salvadorian restaurant. There are a variety of pupusas (carne asada, pork, vegetarian). Like stuffed pancakes made from corn meal, and killer Tortas! The slaw is also amazing with the meal. No disappointments.

Overall, I loved this place! The staff was friendly but seemed a little distracted. Omgsh, and the pupusas were from another world!!! Along with their hot sauce, super delicious! Highly recommend. They do have other menu options such as tacos, but I don't think this place is vegan friendly.

This place is a hidden gem ypu can find it in between to other establishments but come in and be greeted by real nice staff 5/5. They typically ask whem ypu sit if you would lile some chips and salsa! We come for the popusas we get the pork "chicharron" they are big in size and thick not you average size 5/5 ask for them well done if ypu lile them on the crispier side! Fresh water Drinks here are to die for passion fruit is our go to and the pineapple is the next 5/5. Tip your servers!

The food was excellent! The reason I put 3 stars is because the younger server did not have the best attitude. She also never came to our table to ask if we needed anything else. I had to keep standing up to ask for things. She also forgot our order of platanos. If you’re hungry, order to go! 😜🤷🏻‍♂️

I love this place! It is a more upscale version of a hole in the wall Hispanic restaurant. The staff is friendly and the food is fantastic, although I would recommend ordering ahead as the wait can be pretty long when ordering at the register. Everything always tastes great and is good quality. It brings a nice variety and uniqueness to the area!

This is one of my favorite restaurants on the south side of the city. Their food is exceptional. I order the quesadilla, the pupusa de asada, the crepe of strawberry marmalade and the plantains fritos which is my typical order. The service was quick and everything was fresh and delicious.

First time having pupusas and they were absolutely incredible. I ended up eating all 3 lol. It was so filling, so uniquely flavored, and so affordable!! Will definitely be back

The Food is Fantastic, the Atmosphere is simple and quaint for a regular small store front,but comfortable. Service is kind and hospitable. If you want great food flavorful and authentic, it gets no closer to a honestly feel and taste then here. I only wish they can expand going forward. I feel as though this establishment is overlooked by people for lack of advertising.

Very good food, service not very fast,I think they give take out orders priority, so you have to wait a while. Didn’t get chips like the other tables, they don’t come and ask if you need anything. I would return just because the pupusas were very good.

My boyfriend and I come here at least once a week. We are obsessed. I’m vegetarian and they have so many options and everything is affordable! I love their pupusas, empanadas and horchata. I hope they open more locations!

The food is fine. The service is definitely sub par. It's a small mom and pop atmosphere. Walked into place an order to go. Was told it would be 35 to 40 minutes. It took over an hour. I'd assume if you're going to dine in it's also going to be a longer to dine in process, which is fine compared to the everyday on the go that we are used to. It's a decent add to the neighborhood but nothing out of this world

Very good papusas but they took forever on my pick up order. Gave a 20 min wait time but then took almost a whole hour. Please be more realistic on wait times. I really like your food but I won't be ordering at all for lunch because i know it takes forever to get an order ready.

Been wanting to try this place because I heard it’s delicious. But I walked in at 6:20pm on a Sunday to place a to go order, Yes I know they close at 7pm and I got turned away. I guess they stop taking orders at a certain time, Which is fine, but they should post that on their website so you don’t drive 8 miles to their location.

I live in the north side of Chicago and was in the neighborhood and decided to try this place out. I am so glad I did, I will definitely be a repeat customer. The pork pupusas are so delicious! Restaurant is clean and staff is very attentive.

I very rarely give bad reviews, as I’m a small business owner myself. I love supporting small businesses and was excited to try this place. The food looks fire, but walked in, waited for 20 minutes, not a smile or a hello, zero acknowledgement. Another family of 6 walked in and waited standing up because the tables were not cleaned but empty. They weren't busy, didn't look short staffed so I'm not sure what the problem was but I showed up hungry and left hangry. They didn't even acknowledge us as we left. The other group left too. I'd love to give them another try but unless their service changes, I won't be going back.
