👍👍 So much better than the restaurant that was here before. Both the Chicken and beef shawarma meat was very juicy and not dry at all. Mixed grill was good and The two rices that come with it are very flavorful as well. Mixed mezza plate was a favorite especially the muhamarra with the fresh baked brea... Really great food, the rice was really flavorful. The fresh pita bread was so soft and hot. Fries were also really yummy. The only complaint I have is the knafa- the cheese was not classic knafa ingredients so the flavor and consistency were off and the knafa wasn't cooked long enough in general, the top wasn't crispy or the right color. For $25, the knafa is overpriced and we didn't even eat it. Skip the knafa but the rest of the food was really good! Service was great too!

Beautiful restaurant, amazing food & service. Everything was fresh. They do add an 18% service charge to every check, we were a party of 2.

Had nice time with friends, service is so great & specially “ Abo Ihab “ was such professional & serve us in timely manner, food was good but, not all was great. Kuba was great, Shrimp kebab plate was great, Shawerma wasn’t too bad but, mix grill I wish I didn’t have it, wasn’t tasty . Lemon mint juice super nice & their lent soup was wow!

Food is disgusting! I’ve been ordering the same thing for about 8 months now. Never had any issues but the past 3 times I did, meat smells, old tahini for sure. Never again!

The new ownership really elevated the entire menu. Everything was so enjoyable. The kubbeh was perfect. The mixed grill we couldn’t get enough of. Even the fish sticks were delicious! Always went for the beautiful ambiance before, but now we’re going back for the food. The staff is always super nice. The restaurant always clean. Great place for any occasion.

What an experience!!! Our food was super delayed, and our waiter (Ward) handled the issue with incredible professionalism. Manger apologized and made sure we leave happy and satisfied. The food was great and the atmosphere was cozy and comfortable.

Mohammad and his staff really made my wife and I feel welcomed. The food was both bountiful and absolutely delicious. The deserts were amazing, especially Mohammad’s new creation which is not on the menu. Image shredded Halvah heaped on top of vanilla ice cream. To die for! If you like Mediterranean food, definitely add this place to your must experience list. Absolutely the best in the souther suburbs!

I had the pleasure of visiting this wonderful Restaurant and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with warm smiles and a cozy atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every detail of my breakfast Buffet experience was perfect. The menu options were absolutely fantastic! There was an impressive variety of both traditional and innovative dishes to choose from. The eggs were cooked to perfection, and the freshly baked bread was simply heavenly. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and I couldn't help but savor every mouthful. What truly set this place apart was the attention to detail. The presentation of the dishes was impeccable, with colorful and vibrant ingredients that made everything look even more appetizing. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring that I left feeling satisfied and content. The ambience of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, with comfortable seating and tasteful decor. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a leisurely breakfast. The service was top-notch, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure my dining experience was exceptional. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations. I must also mention the excellent tea they serve. It was rich and flavorful, the ideal accompaniment to a delicious breakfast. Overall, my experience at this breakfast spot was absolutely delightful. The combination of delectable food, friendly staff, and inviting atmosphere made it a memorable visit. Love this place for a traditional levant/Syrian breakfast! We got the manakeesh mix, fool mdamas , muhamara, hummus, and falafel, which were all very delicious. Make sure you get a pot of tea with mint to drink with all that! Service was very good as well!

Last Saturday, I went to dine in at this beautiful restaurant for a lunch. I ordered shrimp Ke on platter with rice and mint + lemonade which was so cool and relaxing. The jumbo shrimp was so amazing and a must try dish if you are a seafood lover and a fan of huge, massive shrimps. I also ordered other food for other members who travelled along with us. They were also equally tasty. This is a good place to dine in but a little expensive I guess but I’m not sure though. Don’t forget to get down here when you pass by or planning to have a good meal, and please don’t forget to give your honest reviews and opinions so that it would make it easier for others to choose. Thank you 😊

Best restaurant I've been to in so long. Food is delicious, portions are big, and service is excellent. I would come here all the time if I'm a Chicago resident.

Em Karam offers a decent dining experience with good portion sizes and a pleasant ambiance that's suitable for a family dinner. While we didn't get to try their specialty ribs and other dishes due to the limited menu, the food we had was satisfying. The restaurant has room for improvement in terms of menu options, but overall, Em Karam is worth considering for a decent meal out.

The service here is very lacking. I have never been so frustrated with poor service. Especially since the restaurant was not even half full. Don’t get me wrong the dishes here are well made and taste great. You can taste the difference in local competitors. None the less there must be a fine balance of service. For the past year after hosting multiple events here it is unacceptable. Especially when met with such unpleasant interactions from staff. What makes it worse was the manager endorsed this behavior.

What an incredibly friendly environment. We came here for dinner as a group of 6 and decided to order the family platter. This thing was so good and we even had leftovers to take home. Multiple boxes of it! Very kind staff and they brought us these cute little glasses of coffee as well. I had the lemon mint as a drink and it was super refreshing.

food & ambiance was excellent but the deal breaker was the bread, we ordered 3 entrees & 3 appetizers sadly it was served with some cheap thin cold store bought bread which took the whole pleasure out of the dining out, upon asking the server(Ahmed) he said there are out of there pita bread but 15 minutes later noticed the next table got served with fresh hot bread, could not figure it out know what the deal was. One thing for sure will not go back or recommend to family & friends..

The food is good and it's healthy eating. I had the broiled bass fish with rice and salad, very tasty. My hubby had the chicken, he said it was good but he wished that it was seasoned a little more. I loved this plate they serve with there hot fresh bread and plate with diffent hummus. It was very tasty, loved it!
