Since my wife & daughter love mall hopping and haven't been to Orland Square, stumbled onto this place after Googling restaurants around Orland Park. Menu has some good burger options and other fine eats and they also serve beer. Was pleasantly surprised with the taste of the food here. Excellent burgers made from fresh never frozen black Angus, daughter had the Buffalo chicken burger and my 5 year old son went with the chicken strips. Shakes are awesome as well. This is the only Burger 21 location in IL so far and definitely wish there could be more around especially up in Lake County. Venue is kept clean, customer service is top notch, prices are a bit high but that's ok considering the food is of high quality. It's more than a 60-mile hike south from our house up in Beach Park so unless we are ever down in the area for any reason then we'll most definitely stop back in. Had the double cheesy which was to die for and the fries are delicious as well. Guessing the wonderful Caramel Apple shake I had is only seasonal. Another burger sensation that's worth writing home about. Keep up the superior customer service, B21 staff!😎👍

Stopped by for lunch when visiting from out of town. They have several options available, different types of burgers, for the vegetarian crowd. That's very important for me. The burgers and onion straws were tasty the collection of sauces were fun and different. My son really enjoyed his shake. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Recommended

Very solid burger! One of the few places where you can actually taste the freshness of the meat. I got the BBQ Bacon burger and it was delicious! The BBQ sauce combined with crispy fried onion and bacon makes a flavorful combination. They also have a wide selection of sauces that you can sample with your meal and I highly recommend the 21 sauce and Thai ketchup. They also have a wide variety of milkshakes. One of the best burgers I’ve had and would definitely come back again.

First time here and we were super impressed! Burgers were cooked to our specifications and the fries were so good! The sauces were AMAZING! I tried four of them and each one was exceptional! Employees were really nice too! Love the hand washing station that was next to the condiment station.

Very clean restaurant...with exceptional, informative and patient staff ...which is a rarity these days with QSR concepts. Burgers and shakes match up with photos on menues....and tastes excellent. Hand wash station for afterwards. Says a lot that they carve out room for that vs another table.

Stopped in for a quick afternoon lunch. The staff here was great and they had good energy. It is a bit pricey for a burger joint, however the burger was quite good. Lots of unique burgers to choose from and an array of sauces as well. I wasn't a fan of their version of onion rings though. They were more like fried onion shreds, more suitable for a topping as opposed to side. The dinning area was very well kept and clean. They also have small selection of craft sodas and a few beers to choose from. Overall, this isn't a bad place to get a not so typical gourmet hamburger, just be expect to pay more then your typical price.

This last minute google search was more than amazing. While looking at the menu before my arrival I was already conflicted by the many great menu options. Every burger ingredient seemed to be carefully chosen and given much thought. I asked the cashier for her advice on my top 3 choices and she highly recommended the Hawaiian burger crispy, and man was she right. We also ordered the BBQ bacon burger as well. Those two burgers, half/half (fries and onion strings), and two drinks totaled $32. Super affordable!!! The sauce selection was amazing, try them all. Their signature sauce - 21 is just that, signature. The food came out quickly and hot and did not disappoint. If I had to give any cons it would be the napkins lol because with all those amazing ingredients you need a thick napkin to finish the job. I will be back again.

Scrumptious burgers 🍔 😋 tasty fries and fun dipping sauces. Been a customer since they first opened and they have always been amazing. Art really knows how to run a great resteraunt. Came here and ordered a cheese burger, gluten free burger, a French fry and shakes. Total was $39.99. I live 25 minutes away, the restaurant was almost empty so no other orders. I got home and had 2 vegetarian burgers. Could not even eat the food. I tried reaching out multiple times and no response. Disappointing since it cost more than just a trip to McDonalds. Update: they finally responded after this post. They sent me gift cards for the food. They also said they found the error after I left. Thank you for doing the right thing!

Burger 21 is my favorite burger spot in the south suburbs. I always get the cheddar selection with raw onions. The burger is well seasoned and cooked to perfection. I love the 21 sauce. I'm usually not a fan of mayo based sauce. The shakes are very thick and taste phenomenal.Burger 21 is a must visit when you're in South suburbs of Chicago.

We tried this place the last time we were in Orland and were so impressed, we decided to come again. Abdallah was patient, helpful, and friendly. The food was fantastic again. Will definitely return again and again.

Great place for burgers! Nice variety of burgers on their menu. I ordered the jalapeno mac and cheese burger. It was very yummy with the right amount of heat from the jalapenos. The burger was very filling too. Staff is very attentive and friendly. The restaurant is very clean and neat. Will definitely be back to try more burger choices from their menu.

Beef burger "SHROOMS" was awesome. I tried the Shrimp burger and Ahi Tuna burger and strongly suggest not wasting your money on ordering these items on the menu

The food was great and the person working was very friendly. There are so many options! This time I had the tex mex burger and my friend had the Hawaiian chicken sandwich, both were phenomenal. What really makes the fries is all of the dipping sauces!

The food is good as always but the service sucks. Cashier is ready to go home and very understaffed. Takes all five of our orders and when the food comes out he tells me that no fries come with our orders. We been here plenary of times and have never been asked if we want to add fries. Anyway, he comes back and says it’ll take 4 minutes for fries when I’m already half way through my burger. Very disappointed. Also, you’ll have to wait ten minutes to be able to drink your shake from how frozen it was.

Excellent service, friendly staff, authentic personalities, creative and effective burger recipes including a fried egg on top of the bacon burger (optional). Healthier choices and kids menu available. Everything tasted wonderful. Oh, did I say clean? Clean!

2nd time here and the food was good but honestly the customer service is just amazing. The staff seemed young but they were so respectful and nice, and had a smile on their faces. It was nice to be greeted like that by the cashier. Fries were kinda thin for my liking but honestly that's nothing to me because the customer service was great.

In my opinion, they have some of the best burgers in the area. Their meat patties are juicy and tasty, and they have some interesting combinations of toppings on their menu. I deduct one star because of their prices, which seem a little high for burgers, but price points are a subjective thing that everyone has different thresholds of tolerance for. Overall I enjoy eating here.

One of the best quality burgers in or around orland park. its quite expensive, but its worth it. the fries are one of my favorite's too. they are seasoned perfectly. Not a big shake guy, but I've heard the shakes are really good too.

Best string onions ever! I ordered the 'SHROOM BURGER. It was so tasty. My new favorite burger place and that says a lot from a Swiss mushroom connoisseur like me! Need to open one in the Downers Grove area.

Food is good but the price! Chicken burger and fries $20 plus tip? This is how marketing works: “ Yeah I tried Burger21; good food BUT for the price… I’d rather get _____.” As a startup joint in the Chicagoland area start by being more affordable so it’s really easy to tell others about it. I get youre in Orland but don't believe all your marketing stats. Chicagoans better get a freakin' stellar quality meal if they're gonna pay what you charge and it wasn't at that level. As business picks up throw your promotions out there “Add a shake for $__.” Make good deals. Cuz $40 for two people… with two tap waters. Couldnt afford the shake even. Place is dead for a Monday evening - you’re overstaffed. Cut your overhead and you can lower prices. Also shout out to the cashier at the front. She was on it.

Normally I don’t have issues with this place but my husband ordered our food tonight and put no cheese for my sandwich because it causes stomach issues for me. After eating 1/2 my sandwich I noticed cheese. Now I’m having stomach issues tonight and am going to be up most of the night. Please if you’re going to be a worker there pay attention to the customizations.

Loved the different sauces, particularly the toasted marshmallow sauce that paired well with my sweet potato fries. The handwashing station was everything for this nurse. Already asking my husband when we can go back.

First time at Burger 21. I had the Cheesy Burger. The bun is toasted and buttered. The friendly order taker asked me HOW I WANTED MY BURGER COOKED! HOW REFRESHING! The patty is about 3/4 inch thick. The toppings were all fresh and flavorful. The fries are the thin kind but were very tasty. They reminded me of In N Out or McDonald's but were long enough that I didn't get ketchup all over my fingers. I'll be back!

Ordered a burger, fries and salad. Take out experience was good; we ordered and paid over the phone and they brought it out. However, we could see people dining indoors, against covid requirements. Because of that,, we won't be coming here again.

I went here to get some food in between movies at Marcus Cinema. A good tasting burger with really nice chicken tenders that rival Chick-fil-a!! And the thin French fries are really good too.

Prices keep rising and they are pulling sandwiches. No more $9.99 meal deal and no more chicken parmigiana sandwiches. The portions are very small. An order of fries is equivalent to a McDonald’s small.

this is a hidden gem! love this place and the staff. I have had some very expensive burgers around the world and this is in my top 3 places. Definitely a must try. We are lucky Orland has one with such good people working there.

Arrived at 8:50 Google maps states they close at 9 pm , I came all the way from Willowbrook to get sliders and kissed the door. Called them and they said we are open 10 more minutes I said I'm in front of the store and the ladies next answer was the grill is already off...why do you close the store before the time you are actually suppose to be closed...thanks but never again coming here

the atmosphere was cool but there were crumbs on the table and the bread was cold. tasted fresh out of a package. not quality food but good service.

First time in this place and we LOVE IT. Definitely we're coming back. We try 3 different kind of burgers ( two meat and one chicken ) and all of them were tasty and juice. Sweet potatoes fries delicious and the 21 sauce super good.... I totally recommend this place

My preferred spot for quality Burgers. Arrived at seven, it wasn't crowded. Had a friend come into town and asked me to take him here again. The bill was fair for the quality of the food.

Amazing burgers and great service!

Ordered carryout twice from this place and twice the order was wrong. First time just a minor discrepancy didn't include a side of fries but we were charged. Second time orders were wrong on extras we were charged for and no dipping sauces. They didn't even have our drinks. Burgers are good quality and great prices but really need to work on getting orders correct. Disappointed because we would like to keep going there but just don't trust them.

I really want to be able to enjoy this place because the shakes and food have the potential to be great, but I have been here twice and both times my order was incorrect. With everything currently being open only for to-go orders, it is not easy to have the orders corrected either. I love the concept of the place but I will find it hard to return when I am consistently not getting what I am paying for.

Tex Mex burger was delicious. Everything was very fresh. A wide range of sauces to choose from. If you're wondering what their 21 sauce tastes like, it tastes like "cheeseburger." A hand washing station in the dining area. A pleasant crew of employees, especially Abby. She was overly eccentric, friendly, and accommodating. Would definitely come back.
