Went for dinner and Jack gave us absolutely wonderful service. We have a toddler and he was very accommodating, we even got to see the pizza oven. Pizza was tasty and the crust was nice and wheaty.

Met some new friends here for dinner tonight and it went amazing. A truly magnificent and welcoming atmosphere. Savannah, our server is the absolute best. I'm definitely returning to dine here. Some very delicious options including the Penne Pasta. It came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Compliments to the chef.

The pizza here is amazingly delicious! I got takeout on their 2/$22 Tuesday for the first time and I will most definitely be back. What a great deal, I’m so glad to have found this place! I got the BLT pizza and the Goat.

We had a great experience. This is a great local gem. This place has a lot of room to spread out and keep your social distance. We had the fresh homemade personal pizzas. We recommend The Goat and the BLT Pizza. The Strawberry Walnut salad is a delight for your senses! It is also big enough to share. Service was attentive but not hovering.

Had an amazing time. Exceeded expectations. Service was excellent, food perfect. They were so sensitive to the fact we had to ask about ingredients of all the gluten free offerings, due to other foods we had to avoid. They even caught something I forgot to specify to be gluten free. The chocolate brownie gelato cake, drinks, mussels, portobello mushroom and pizza were delicious. Thank you for a great night out!

The pizza was delicious and the gelato was really good! The aranchini was meh and also pricey for just two pieces. They should carry some more variety of non-alcoholic drinks too. The outdoor seating vibes were great.

Went for New Year's Eve and the menu for the night was amazing and all at a great price. The food was delicious and the service was on point. Will definitely be returning to try some of the pizza and the rest of the menu 😋

The pizza is normally good. The 2/22 deal on Tuesdays and Thursdays is mainly why I order from there. Unfortunately, this time both of the pizzas didn’t have any tomato sauce. Also they were lukewarm. I ordered the meatballs before and it was horrible. No seasoning. I will order the pizza take out deal again, but if the food isn’t good, I’ll order somewhere else.

We booked Trattoria 225 for a private event and they were amazing. Their food is delicious! We had the Roasted Beet Salad, Chicken Visuvio, Salmon Spinachi, Pasta Primavera, Risotto, apple crostada with gelato and tiramisu. Nancy and Savannah are spectacular! They were attentive and friendly. They are two of the best servers I’ve ever encountered! It was a memorable day! Thank you, Bill and Trattoria 225 staff.

Lovely dinner with my wife. Great ambiance, food, and cocktails. My braised short ribs were excellent. Also a great place to drop in for a drink at the bar if you're in the neighborhood (as we are).

Trattoria 225 is terrific. It is our neighborhood go to. Service is fantastic. Food is great. Dave the bartender left in 2021 but we still enjoy the bar for 2 for 22 pizza night! And if there is a fish entree on the menu, go for it!

We had Trattoria's mobile pizza oven truck for an event of about 80 people. Everyone loved the pizza and the fun of ordering and watching it cook. I was a bit apprehensive of how long it might take for everyone to get through the line but it was much faster than I thought. It was a very affordable way to feed a large group also. Bill was very easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Bill and his team put together a pre theater dinner for our group of 50 with just a couple days notice. The staff is wonderful and the pizzas and salads are delicious! We love this gem of a restaurant in Oak Park.

We had a wonderful time. It's a wonderful local treasure. There is enough of space here to spread out and maintain your social distance. We ate the freshly prepared, individual pizzas. The Goat and the BLT Pizza are suggested. Your senses will be delighted by the Strawberry Walnut salad! Furthermore, it's big enough to share. Although not intrusive, service was attentive.

Nice atmosphere and service, but the food was totally meh. The red sauce was so sweet. Not a favorite.

Everything was fantastic. Will 10/10 be ordering here again. The funguy pizza was delicious. The grilled calamari fantastic. The shrimp Alfredo and the bolognese were superb. Excited to order again

We just had a wonderful dinner at Trattoria 225. She had the cioppino. Full of seafood, garlic, fennel, flavor. Could not stop from finishing broth with the homemade bread. I had the BLT pizza, arugula on top of classic brick oven pizza. Light and full of flavor. A bottle of Montepulciano, and heaven. Jack was our great server. Hurry to this Oak Park treasure.

We went with the family for a celebration and it delivered. Pizza with pancetta and arugula was delicious. They allowed us to substitute chicken for the salmon lemon dish and it was excellent. Gelato was smooth and creamy and refreshing. Will definitely come again.

Good service. The grilled calamari was cold and slightly undercooked. In addition, the spicy sauce is not a good complement for it. It tasted like a cheap version of Siracha sauce. My wife is a vegetarian and asked for a vegetarian pasta dish, which the server said could be done. The vegetables were very undercooked and lacked flavor. These are two areas in which some improvement could be made.

Pizza night at Tratoooria 225. Choose any of their rustic pizzas 2 for $20. Add a salad and wine and have yourself a well deserved break. Al fresco dining at it's finest. Great food, friendly attentive service and location in Oak Park's Arts District. Ordered the Pizza Margherita with fresh basil, mozzarella and tomatoes. 2nd pizza was the FunGuy! Mushrooms and smoked Gouda. Try the Grilled ceasar, a quite pleasing and delicious Romain lettuce. House wines are a heavy pour and stored well at the right temps. Definitely will return.

We went to the restaurant on a Thursday night and we were seated when we arrived. The restaurant is very welcoming, clean, and organized. Our waiter Eddie was friendly and attentive. He offered suggestions from the menu and checked on the table regularly. The food was tasty and the coffee and desert was very good. This place is good for a date night, friends gathering, or family outing. Street parking, but more importantly the area is walkable. Plenty of things to see during the warm weather either before or after eating. Oak Park where this restaurant is located is one of my favorite areas in the city.
