Service could not have been better. Our waitress was awesome, She was friendly and very attentive. Our breakfast was cooked to perfection. The only reason I could not give them 5 stars. Because it was a little bit pricey. Our bill was $70 for 3 people for breakfast.

Delicious everytime. Bacon is crispy, eggs are cooked perfectly, hash browns are crispy on top and tender inside. And the 🥞 pancakes .. oh my. Well I save those to eat last. It's like have a dessert after your breakfast.

Food was tasty! I got the Louisiana skillet and ordered a side of gravy, made it very delicious. My baby got the Mickey Mouse pancake, pretty creative! Would recommend. Whitney was our server and she was a sweetheart.

I recently had breakfast at Lumes Pancake House, and I must say, it was a delightful experience overall. Despite the restaurant being quite busy, the service was remarkably fast, and the staff, particularly our waitress, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. To start off our breakfast adventure, we ordered the Spartan Omelette, the Blueberry Festival Crepe, and the Peach Orchard Crepe. The Spartan Omelette was a hearty and satisfying choice. Packed with fresh vegetables, and feta cheese, it was a flavorful combination that left us feeling energized for the day ahead. Moving on to the crepes, the Blueberry Festival Crepe was a standout. The delicate crepe itself was perfectly cooked, golden and thin. It was generously filled with a luscious blueberry compote that had a delightful balance of sweetness and tartness. It was a heavenly treat that captured the essence of summer. Equally impressive was the Peach Orchard Crepe. The crepe was again expertly prepared, and the filling consisted of juicy, ripe peaches and cream cheese. Throughout our meal, the staff at Lumes Pancake House demonstrated exceptional efficiency and attentiveness. Despite the bustling atmosphere, our waitress ensured that we had everything we needed and checked in on us regularly, making sure our dining experience was pleasant and enjoyable. The only minor drawback was the restaurant's busyness, which led to a slightly noisy environment. However, given the quality of the food and the attentive service, it was a small inconvenience that didn't significantly impact our overall experience. In conclusion, Lumes Pancake House is a fantastic breakfast spot that delivers both in terms of taste and service. The Spartan Omelette, Blueberry Festival Crepe, and Peach Orchard Crepe were all excellent choices, showcasing the kitchen's skill and dedication to flavor. If you don't mind a lively atmosphere, this is definitely a place worth visiting for a satisfying and delightful breakfast.

I had such a positive experience here with friends that when family suggested heading to brunch this was the first place I thought to meet up at. It is 25miles from my house & doesn't phase me if I plan on treating myself to great service and amazing gluten free pancakes. There was a short line to get a table, and I can understand why. Everyone on the staff had great customer service. I couldn't believe the fast time we got our food and it was cooked perfectly to order. The tables and floors looked clean and I appreciate the staffs hard work. There is a wide variety of breakfast and lunch choices, but as long as gluten free pancakes are on the menu that is my top choice.

We had the best breakfast here. Truly can say that each plate was left empty! Corned beef was tasty and moist. Fries were crispy outside and fluffy inside. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the hash was flavorful and eggs fluffy. Enjoy!!!

I’ve been going here for years with a great experience until recently The owner retired and it’s not the same experience. The turkey sausage was rubbery this time, eggs over cooked, toast and hash browns where great I noticed a much more casual atmosphere immediately. The old saying when the cats away the mice will play it true here. Waitress was amazing.

Let me just start this review by saying I’m not easily sadden nor triggered by ignorance any longer. I know because the color of my skin I will always be treated differently ! As a BLACK woman of integrity I will say this to all of my people please do NOT support this business and pour money into a place where we are not welcomed ! I have never been treated so poorly in my life ! The entire 45 minutes I was there my coworkers and I were watched and talked about. It was a very unpleasant experience for us all ! 0/10!

Amazing service, fantastic food and friendly staff! Extremely accommodating. Arrived with a party of thirty plus, they were able to seat us willingly and immediately. We were in and out in less than an hour. Thank you Lumes staff for being so accommodating to our hockey team and family!

Food was fine. I like the atmosphere of restaurant. The reason I gave the 5 star is the server. She was the greatest waitress I’ve ever met. They were super busy but she covered tables with bright smiles. She was professional and great. I would come back because of her.

10/10 perfect everything! We had server Fay and she was awesome. Quick and very personable. When we walked in it was packed but seats were available. The Elder lady at the front greeted me right away and was able to seat us. She had a nice smile and right off the back made me feel welcomed. The food was very good probably some of the best food ever here. The portion sizes are very good. I love it here and will be here all the time. Unfortunately we got no photos the food was incredible!

I have eaten here plenty of times. And usually will go here to meet up with friends for a breakfast. Food is usually good . Today I really really wanted their crepes, they make good crepes and I'm picky about crepes. So I drove over there and was going to have breakfast alone, that's how bad I wanted these. Lol. I usually get a side of hash browns. But asked the waitress if they had side of potatoe pancakes. I had previous had them in a dish that they served that has the pancakes in it. I told her I don't want a whole order. And didn't want to be paying for a full order either, if that's what I'd have to do. She said no. I could get a side. Just 2 she asked ? I said great. Well I got them and the outside was sure cooked enough ( dark, if youd have cooked it anymore it would have been burnt), but the inside was cold. When the waitress brought me my container I told her so she was aware. I hadn't even finished them because they were cold. But figured I could heat them at home in the microwave. I get the bill and the charge for 2 small !!! Potatoe pancakes was 8.99. What? 4.50 a piece for these ? And they were no bigger than a 3 inch or so diameter? So I ask the lady when I go up to pay the bill. Isn't this for a full order? She takes the bill to a gentleman who now has to make a big production and ask someone else. He comes and tells me the charge is correct and that if I want to pay 1 dollar more. They'll make and add a couple. That they should have told me that the full order is 1.00 differnce. I'm think ok well a side of hash browns is 3.99 which is about what I thought this would be. And 2 tiny potato pancakes are 8.99? Ridiculous. Anyway. I said no Thank you. I'm not adding to the bill that with a 4.00 tip because I'm a ddcent tipper , for one person came to 27.00? To have breakfast. ? It's not about the money. It's the principal. And granted this man didn't know that I had told the waitress that they weren't even cooked. Anyway. Bad business form if you ask me. I think I'll be going elsewhere for awhile. That's why I rated low due to inconsiderateness to the customer not being happy and due to greed. Come on 9 dollars ? Ridiculous.

It was okay. I ordered the steak skillet. I would definitely go back, but I would never order that again. Eighteen dollars and hardly any steak at all!!! It was probably 3 ounces of overcooked, tasteless skirt steak. VERY DISAPPOINTED! But I had the nicest waiter in the world! Siad was awesome, and he made the whole experience wonderful. He's the reason why I didn't complain. So polite and friendly. I'm gonna go back and try another item(s) on the menu.

I love coming here and the food is always well priced and great tasting but only reason it is not a 5 star is because of the cost for drinks... $3 for a small glass of chocolate milk for example, thats an insane waste of mone, I personally will no longer get any drinks there besides water until they make the prices for drinks more reasonable. Besides this it's great, excellent staff excellent service, excellent food.

How dare I complain about the food????? Went for breakfast, left bullied. My food tasted burnt and all I did was return it. Yet, charges were never removed. When I asked the manager/owner to remove it. He said with anger, “you the only one complaining about the food,” “so many people no one say anything!” Tried to intimidate me. I replied saying, I have different taste buds. He still can’t believe I didn’t like it. I asked if he kindly remove the charge, since it’s not fair for me to pay for something I didn't eat. He refused to remove it and said I should still pay for it since he had to toss it. I said I won’t pay. He took the check back removed the price of my plate and added three up charges of soup we had and the balance was still the same and said I had to pay. This is the last time I place a foot there. I’m going to make sure I share this story to discourage people from supporting a bunch of bullies!

I always go to the one on 116th since I was out this way in Orland Park I figured I'll go to this for breakfast , worst decision!! I do not recommend coming to this restaurant please go to the one on 116th and Western I've been going to that one for years and they've never got my waffles wrong. My waitress was wonderful but her manager on duty had a despicable attitude. After the waitress said that they were take it off my bill when I got to the cash register the manager said no he can't take it off. Now I understand why people always say stick to what you know.

The only thing this place has going for it were the two gorgeous hostess running the cash register. Food was average and the price is what you would expect at a place like this. Waitress was nice and got us everything we needed.

This is the second time I’ve been here. It’s a typical breakfast/brunch place that you’d expect. I had a veggie skillet and added chicken sausage. My friend got French toast that’s stuffed with cream cheese. He topped it with strawberries and chocolate chips. It was too big for him to finish. There was nothing disappointing about the place but also nothing extraordinary. If your looking for a simple breakfast you’ll find it here.

The food here has been pretty good. The turkey sausage wasa little overcooked, eggs were good. Toast and hash browns where great. I had a great server, I think her name was Shelly. She was very attentive.

I have never done a google review before, but what a great way to start my first review. Lumes pancake house, your staff are racist and rude. Fake eyebrows was a decent server if she didn’t rush us out of the restaurant. The hostess and a waiter were blatantly looking at the 3 woman of color and talking about them. After paying the hostess rushed my coworker by pushing her plate towards her to leave. She didn’t even have her card in her wallet yet!! Your staff need to treat EVERYONE with respect! And judging by the reviews there are a lot of people that are saying the same thing. Also start seasoning your food because it was mid. Thank you
