This is one of my favorite places to eat in the city. So delicious 😋 the chicken and spicy falafel 🧆 are awesome. Do add their garlic sauce. It’s creamy and yummy with the spicy sauce. 🤌 I had taken so many of my friends here!

It's good, but not amazing. I've had naf naf and roti and think they're superior. I will say the portion is extremely large, but you pay a pretty high price as well. I had the bowl and fries + drink and it was over $20. Probably my bad on getting the fries when I couldn't even consume that much food but I still think the price is quite steep. It's good but I just found the flavors lacking compared to other Mediterranean style places I've had before. The fries that everyone raves about I also thought were just ok. Mine might have been slightly overcooked but the seasoning and cheese made them good. They definitely weren't amazing or anything tho.

everything about this place is absolutely disgusting. the cashier licked their finger when handling my transaction, while the other worker sneezed over my food. the falafel tasted like grass, none of this tastes authentic.

Food is AMAZING! Staff is rude and rush you a lot. Been visiting this location for years and owner doesn’t take a note of this issue….but food is good. I would give 5 stars if staff is not so rude and pushy.

Food is normally excellent from BenjYehuda. Not sure what happened at this location. Fries were severely over cooked, the gyro looked poor, as in barely any meat and was dry. Tzatziki barely helped. Definitely not going back.

Shawerma, hummus, falafel, baba ghanoush, etc. are Palestinian, not “Isra*li”. Support authentic Palestinian restaurants, not shops like these that profit off of stolen culture

So I ordered the hummus with falafel and veggies and honestly it was very under whelming... I was honestly hungry after this meal. To top it off one of my sauces had hair in it but luckily they quickly exchanged it out. Not sure I know what’s so special about this place. To top it off their signage is pretty terrible and very tough to find. Hopefully they step it up a bit. Also my falafel were green for some reason and very small - never seen that before - they were ok but honestly for what I got I prefer to go to naf naf. Way more food for your buck and amazing pita! Don’t see my self coming back here sadly because I really did want to like it!

Love benjyehuda, food is ready for pickup really quick, awesome portion size, super fresh and a great healthy option in the loop. The fries were good as well! I always get the combo protein bowl and get every protein available, and almost every topping. All the different toppings are great. It easily lasts me 2-3 meals haha!

Very good and staff friendly. In my opinion way better than another chain like naf naf. Their sauces, particularly the baba ganoush, just hit different than other places with like cuisine. Highly recommend. It can get very crowded but the staff does a great job delivering quality food quickly.

Went a few times pre-corona, food was pretty good most of the time, sometimes I got an iffy vibe from specific employees, where it seemed like they were smirking/laughing at me (the times i went with someone and we were having a conversation while food was being ordered) Also I remember walking in after 9am one time before work, but apparently they don't start serving til 10.30, (I assumed if the door was open they would serve food) I tried asking to order and the person there was just standing staring at me behind the counter, not sure if that person literally doesn't have the ability to speak or they just have horrible communication skills, a different employee was able to verbally communicate and let me know they didn't start serving food yet, just bizarre to encounter someone who just stares at you and won't answer a question

If you’re looking for quick, delicious food from people with a smile and a great attitude, this is the place. Fresh chopped salads paired with nicely seasoned falafel really hits the spot. Fries are great too and a good selection of canned iced teas, seltzers etc.

Stay away! Worst chicken shawarma I’ve ever had! they gave me old pre-sliced chicken from yesterday, plus it was burnt, giving a bitter taste and normally shawarma has a nice aroma, this one barely had any seasoning at all in a tiny pita and $12.50 after tax plus tips, about $14.50 which went straight into garbage bin after couple of bites. It’s like they can trick you only once. Who does a business like this?

This is one of my favorite Mediterranean/Mid Eastern food places that follow the "Chipotle" model of walking down an assembly line for your bowl or wrap. I usually get a salad or rice bowl with chicken or beef shawarma. The options for hummus, corn, cabbage and other fresh vegetables cover your greens with hot and tahini sauce. You won't leave hungry with the large portions and beware of almost every person on the assembly line asking you to add fries regardless of how many times you say no.

They give you plenty of food. It all feels and tastes very fresh and also very healthy.

Great place to grab work lunch! Food: Very flavorful and plenty of options! Order the salad if you want to be on the healthy end / don't want to end up in a food coma in the middle of the work day Ordering online: Very easy via Ritual; always on time! When you get there, you just need to skip the line and go to the cashier to ask for your takeout Dine in: I haven't dined in before, but the line is astronomical during weekday lunch time, and the seating seems tight given everyone is in line around you

One of the best affordable lunch spots in the loop, always great. Favorite is the falafel pita but you really can't go wrong

Fine for an occasional lunch. The wrap was a little dry, but I would go there again once in a while.

Best falafel I've had outside of Jerusalem! Friendly service as well, wish they had them back home in DC

First time ordering here via Ritual. Portions are excellent with plenty of sides included in the box. See my picture for beef amd lamb combo box with white rice, hummus, baba ganoush and corn. I could've added the Jerusalem salad and should've. The shop smelled fantastic when I picked my order up. Happy with my order, everything was tasty and will eat here again.

There is a reason the line was almost out the door when I visited for the first time. Really good food with a fair portion for the price. The location was a bit confusing, but it was worth the walk. I’ll be back.

Tried the mixed bowl with chicken and lamb way better than halal guys. Must try the hummus. Thick and creamy. Even Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods can’t beat that hummus. Lastly, the fries, a must try. Crispy, golden and not even slightly soggy. The fries were doused with viag**

I asked if the bowl was more expensive and the employee said no. Then I was charged $1.50 Xtra for getting the bowl. Not good.

This is probably one of my favorite restaurants in The Loop, if not all Chicago. It's the one thing I miss about working in the area. A bowl is almost enough food for two meals, and the fries are without a doubt some of the best in the city.

Falafel has great flavor. Recommend the fries as well

Food itself is good. But wait time for on-line take out order is poor. Went to pick up my order after getting notification that it is ready for pick up, and spent 15 minutes waiting for it to be prepared after I got there.

Their chicken shawarma wrap/pita was pretty good. The sauces were also amazing and everything tasted great. My only complain is the price or the size of the pita. It's a bit expensive ($10 and something) for a small pita. I would say they should either charge $8 for it or make the pita bigger.
