I went to La Voûte Bistro and Bar last night for cocktails and appetizers - such a great time! The staff are friendly and professional and the venue has a great vibe. The charcuterie plate was excellent and we also enjoyed the other assorted snacks from our order. The bartender was great! If you’re looking for a great place to meet friends without the loud music of a typical bar, this is the place to go! BTW, I took the photos posted here at closing time.

My husband and I had a date night here. The service is exceptional! Everyone was very welcoming and prompt. The food was also very good. Our appetizers and entrees were served quickly, plated well, and served steaming hot. We ordered the shrimp cocktail and fried cajun shrimp appetizers. And for dinner the Whitefish (on special) and the beef tenderloins. Deeelish! 😋 We sat outside and had our own "private" dining experience. I highly recommend for dinner and would love to try their brunch.

We tried this restaurant on a quiet Sunday afternoon. The location is perfect I'm downtown Homewood near Martin Square. There is limited parking on the square but more behind the building. The restaurant is part of a boutique hotel. Food was above average. This The hostess seemed a little confused. We were waited on by a lady that appeared to be the owner or manager as a waiter came by after we ordered. He seemed harried when he got there. Service was OK. Food isn't expensive but servings ran on the smaller side. We were hungry within an hour of leaving there!

Very classy, Great Gatsby Old Hotel feel. Superb drinks, excellent service. Deliciously prepared food. I can't wait to go back!

Food was overcooked and old.. chicken tenders, chicken paillard and the chicken sandwich were all chewy and stale, the bun on the chicken sandwich was stale and breaking apart after the first bite. The hamburger was tasteless. The steak was sent back and the second steak was good but the first steak was under cooked....very bad food experience, and very unexpected. The one server was accommodating but considering the restaurant was mostly empty there were 7 staff members doing absolutely nothing, hanging out in the restaurant doorway. Our server did the best he could but he couldn't make up for the bad food for the 11 persons in my party. We all complained about the food to the server. The place is probably good for drinks and appetizers but not entrees. Very disappointed. .

Today's visit was just Horrible! Service was extremely slow as our party of four (4) had another engagement after attempting to have brunch first. We reminded our server who was also bartending that we'd placed our order 1;hour &:20 Minutes ago. The waiter came over and said that he was sorry about our order however there was a wedding party that was engaging across from us. I told him that "We" had absolutely nothing to do with that party. The floor manager came to speak with myself & my daughter. Again we told him that the RSVP that we had made had No impact on the fact (as we were told) there was only 2 cooks in the building. As the food arrived, we had asked that it be fixed yo to carry out. As my daughter looked into her box to inspect her food, she found that the Brioche French Toast was completely burned and the inside of the French toast was completely egg batter soaked! Wasn't worth serving to anyone even if it was "Free". The Manager did manage to remove the tow adult drinks from the bar off the tab. If it really mattered, I felt as though the Management should have "removed" the Entire Bill. Now that's what Management is all about. Especially since we've eaten there many times before.

I came here for an event. The food was so good and I enjoyed their cocktails. I loved their shrimp and grits and the Roscinante cocktail. Chef Robert was so nice and visited all our tables to see how we were enjoying our meal. He later talk about the restaurant and the food/cocktails inspiration. I can not wait to be back to try the other dishes and cocktails.

If our waitress was not overbooked all would have been amazing! But I never got my decaf Cafe nor a refill of water on a hot Summertime day. Oh well, food reheated very well 3days after! Hats off to the Chef and Real Food!

Please go for brunch and have the Creme Brule French Toast. The environment is really grown and sexy. The service was great!

Went for brunch with my husband and son. My husband had the shrimp and grits along with a side order of pancakes. He liked the shrimp/grits but the pancakes were very oily. My son had steak and eggs which were just ok. I had the Traditional French omelet along with a side order of pancakes. The omelet and pancakes were super oily and the omelet had no taste. The pancakes had a weird taste and I had an horrible aftertaste in my mouth after eating the food. Our waitress was wonderful but the food was mediocre. We spent $107.67 for brunch! It was definitely not worth it!

Nice clean room, and decoration. Food was ok, no wow. We saw pictures of amazing looking dish in couple of reviews. Rack of lamb with mashed potatoes, asparagus. $44 rack of lamb, was a disappointment. The dish we received was nothing like the picture, and definitely overpriced. Cocktails are pricey too and have weird aftertaste. We tried 4 different ones, no winner here.

As soon as I came in, I got bread and butter. For appetizers I got jumbo shrimp. It tasted amazing, it came with toast and I used butter on it. After that I had a steak which was nice. My boyfriend had the salmon.

Met some friends that I had not seen in a while. We talked for a while. Our waitress kept checking on us to see if we were ready to order food. We were having so much fun talking and catching up, we told her in afew minutes . We finally ordered and the food was delicious 😋. I came home and told my family.... We are definitely coming back for brunch 😋 🤗 💥💥💥💥

Came here to celebrate our accounting firm's grand opening downtown and La Voûte rose to the occasion! My steak was impeccable and one of our employees said it was the best salmon he ever had. We were extremely impressed and will be back!

This restaurant is uniquely and beautifully decorated within an old Bank building that incorporates a small boutique hotel. One of the dining areas is actually in the vault of the old Bank. It's an appropriate place for both casual and fine dining with a bar and a French inspired menu. I am unable to comment on the entire menu because my meal consisted of a seasonal special of steamed muscles, all you could eat, with five different types of sauces. Our party of four tried all of the different preparations and each one was uniquely delicious. I'm giving this a four instead of a five-star rating because as with many other dining experiences post covid, the service was a bit slow because I believe they were short-staffed. Otherwise give this place a try.

Excellent food! So good that I wanted to eat the sauce from the beef bourguignon as soup. Our server was also very pleasant. The decor is sophisticated and I love the bank references like the vault. Great experience.

French onion soup was delicious. Decent wine selection. Had the Bouef au Poivre which was good. The creme brulee was phenomenal, and is something I would go back here for by itself.

This place used to be good for dinner and drinks but now it's FAR from how it used to be. The food (and service) is just simply BAD and not one person working there seems to care enough to notice. The owners need to hire competent management and staff to right the ship or La Voute will sink and sink quickly.

Family from out of town and I suggested this place because of the reviews. Good: The Ambience! Bad: They were short staffed & did not have enough menus. The manager came to our table requesting the menus & we hadn't even ordered. The waiter did not put my order in. I ordered a couple of items (Cajun Shrimp/Mussels) and received not one. I ended up getting something quick (soup) because everyone else at the table had their food... Then the waiter literally disappeared, and we ended up asking the bartender to assist us. It was unacceptable > low quality & quantity food to be so overpriced! We all left hungry. We ended up going to another restaurant for dinner. Very disappointing...

Excellent experience and great menu with awesome service. Fun fact, this place was a bank in a previous life, the vault is still there and you can even dine in there. Much of the decor is repurposed features from the old bank. Super classy too

Pretending to be a high class fine dining establishment. We called ahead asking when they closed. When we came in they acted like we were imposing like we walked in 5 min to close 🤷‍♀️ place smelled of chemicals and food is just whatever

I had the hardest time finding a place for my bridal shower brunch but the LaVoute team came to save the day! Meg was beyond accommodating! The food and service was amazing.
