A very cozy but unassuming Irish bar with amazing food! The prices were very reasonable. My girlfriend and I split the Irish nachos, which were amazing, and there was plenty to share with three or even four. I also got the country chicken mac and cheese with buffalo sauce which was also amazing... You can tell the cheese was a homemade recipe and made with care! All the staff were very friendly! Definitely going to make it a point to come back when I am back in town!!!!

As far as pub fare goes, this place has some fantastic food! I've been here once before with a friend, and they have a wide variety of beer and other drinks. I ordered the little Timmy burger and it was massive, but delicious! Highly recommend if you're in the mood for a tasty burger. The boneless chipotle BBQ wings are good, but my money's on their burgers.

This is a must stop Irish Pub in Chicago! A friend of mine works here and suggested we go here one night. He showed me the Timmy burger challenge and I was all in. You just had to finish the burger in one sitting and that was a challenge I was willing to take on. 2LBS plus fries and all the toppings on the burger.. The burger was cooked perfect how I wanted. It was so juicy and it taste really good. They are known for their wings, but the burger filled me up so not able to try them this night. I did finish the burger and I got a t-shirt. If you are worries about parking, there is plenty of parking and they do validate parking at the garage North/East of the Pub. That in Chicago is a deal in if itself. The bar is decent size, but there tends to be a wait time. So be prepared to do that, but it is well worth it. Stop in if you are anywhere near here or if tou want to make a trip out of it, do it! I definitely will be returning.

Thankful the kitchen is open til 2 am. Walked here easily from Allerton hotel after checking in around midnight. Large selection of drafts and drinks. I think they bar is open til 4 am. We got Rueben egg rolls, side salad and a pork taco of sorts. Fries were great too ( apples parm on them). One beer one soda and that food was about $55. Very decked out for Christmas. Loved it.

I stumbled upon this subterranean place while trying to get back to the parking garage. It has a huge oval shaped bar with lots of tables and booths surrounding it. It was pretty loud with all the crowd hustle and bustle. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining. I like it this way. So I had a couple of drinks and got their wings and French Onion soup. Both were very good and got the spot. I’d love to come back here on or around St. Patrick’s day.

Came across this restaurant by mistake and very happy we did! The food was excellent, as well as our waitress! The night we went the had live karaoke, which looked like a lot of fun but it was very loud. My family and I sat in the back corner which was much better. The ambiance is nice and welcoming.

Delicious pub food on a busy Saturday night before the Chicago Marathon! Great service! Bar was lively as the MLB games were on every tv!

This is a nice sports bar. It is located below street level. The food is not exactly the greatest. I had the fish and chips plus a small side order of chicken fingers. It was all kinda bland. The fingers were caked in hardened batter and the chicken inside was dry. But the atmosphere is nice and staff friendly. It is really a place to drink and watch a game with others than a place to eat. On Wednesday nights, an inner room hosts a comedy club. The club is best if you are a "little" drunk.

Very cool bar. Awesome place to come for a game or late night to grab a seat and drink. The seasonal Mule was phenomenal. Had the boneless wings, definitely recommend. Great pub, great service, a lot of space, and very clean.

We were hungry and wanted to get a quick bite to eat. Little did we know how fun our day (and evening) would turn out. We walked here from our nearby hotel (4 blocks). It was busy, but they were able to seat us immediately. Samantha, our server, was terrific. Despite it being St. Patty's Day weekend and the amount of guests at the restaurant, she was attentive and friendly. We ordered the Chicago Fire Burger with French fries and the Reuben with Tater Tots. The burger was delicious, but it was not as spicy as I hope. It was still great and I would order it again, but request a little more spice. My friend enjoyed the Reuben sandwich. We complimented our entrees with green beers, then Aperol spritz and then finally shared a pitcher of green beer. There was wonderful bagpipers, festive people, great music, games and overall a wonderful blissful atmosphere of celebration. We will definitely come back to this fun-filled, lively establishment.

Went here for dinner because it was close to the hotel we were staying at. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. Service was fast, accurate and professional. They have a good selection of beer and drinks. The food we got was good. I would recommend this place for drinks and bar style food.

Checking into our hotel we were told by our hotel receptionist about Timothy O'Toole's. When we were looking at the menu we saw wing brought to another table and they looked delicious. We had 4 different kinds of wings and they tasted as good as they looked. Good food definitely a little more pricey but definitely worth trying.

I just love love love this place! The staff rocks the best kindest ever and the food! OMG! The food! Top notch and some of Chicago's best right here. I know you've never been otherwise surly you wouldn't be reading this, you'd be there. So please, stop reading and start moving, you don't want to make your taste buds to have to wait any longer right. I promise, you won't be disappointed. You can thank me later.

I was lucky enough to spend a few days in the toddling town of Chicago, and boy did I have fun! My girlfriend and I went to Timothy O'Toole's for a nice Pub meal and to enjoy some sports on TV. Good selections on the menu, the print was a bit small just to let you know, really HUGE bar, lots and lots of TVs, plenty of staff, and good service. Great selection of whiskeys and Irish fare too. The locals were friendly, and helpful. I ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger meal and it was fantastic! I really recommend this place.

Great place to hang out. Good music and atmosphere. Everyone seemed to be having a great time. Came on a Friday night and it was busy, but not too crowded. Food was great, I got the Buffalo chicken egg rolls and turkey bacon melt sandwich. I would definitely come back.

I had been to Weber Grill in Chicago about 10 years ago and really enjoyed the brisket and garlic mashed potatoes. There was hardly any BBQ on the menu this time and I was kind of disappointed because I was looking forward to having brisket. :(

Fun atmosphere. Food is so-so overall. Had the pretzel appetizer, which was decent. Didn’t really taste like pretzels but not bad either. Had the chicken Mac and cheese for dinner. It was decent. Again, good meal. Not a foodie destination but probably a good hang out place.

One of the better options for happy hours in Streeterville especially during earlier hours. Affordable drinks and good food options are always a good combination after work before heading home. Many dishes I’ve head, yes, all fried food but nevertheless, were quite good. And with Manhattan for $8, it’s a good place to have a couple.

Came here while waiting for our child. Appetizers were hot and tasty. We had buffalo egg rolls and two cocktails. Service was good and everything was clean! Bathrooms smelled and looked really clean too! Great music was being played for a mid afternoon stop and affordable prices for being downtown in a prime area.

One of our favorite places in the city! Walking distance from our apartment and couldn't have asked for a better home bar. Great prices, great deals and happy hours, and great service! Bailey has been our server a few times and she's the best!! So helpful. :)

While visiting Chicago, this little hidden gem was right around the corner from my hotel so I strolled on in and gave it a shot. Well, the food suggested by the bar tender was the burger patty melt on marble bread. Holy holy was it tasty! Had this reuben meets a burger vibe and I was there for it! Super good, prices were fair and overall I recommend this gem.

Nice atmosphere in the restaurant with a lot going on but the food was terrible. Found a big piece of Saran Wrap in my sandwich which is a bit of a giveaway they’re not made fresh to order. And it wasn’t exactly a little price of wrap. I checked the rest of my sandwich as personally I don’t want to consume plastic. Our waiter got me a new sandwich (this time without the plastic) and not only was it smaller than before but this time the bread just was kinda chewy. My friend who took me there was apologizing that it used to be a lot better and after reading some previous reviews I hope this was just a one off accident but I’ll still never be back. The area is abundant with plenty of other restaurants to try instead Timothy O’tooles.

Good vibes and good food. Gluten-free burger was good, but the bun could be better quality to improve experience, there are better options in the market. Shepherd's pie was good. Corned beef was good, lacked a bit of flavor on the beef, but the veggies were great. Fish and chips were on par. As for ambiance, very nice. Music was a bit too loud, we had to shout to have a conversation in a booth of four people.

Timothy O’Toole’s has a pretty substantive menu to choose from, as well as some fresh beers on tap. We really enjoyed our visit, but the only downside was a small thing with the service. We asked from a game to be put on, was told it would be put on but the server disappeared never to be seen again. Only a small negative but overall some nice grub and drinks.

Great place for a drink to watch a game or get together with friends. The food can be good. If you have any dietary restrictions, be sure to clearly tell your server. They have a large bar with a plethora of seating. Their drinks are fun, they even have their own twist to some classics. On top of that, the staff was as attentive as they could be considering how many patrons they had, which is always a bonus. A+ for service and staff attitude!

Great Pub for food and drinks. Good atmosphere, great location, reasonable prices! I ordered the stout meatloaf with mashed potatoes and veggies. The stout they used for meatloaf or the gravy added a nice flavor..some mild chocolate notes with that strong stout finish... it had a little spice to it, which was welcomed. The pretzel bread pudding with the bourbon caramel glaze and vanilla ice cream was my favorite dessert of the day! Great job on everything.

We ate here before a show downtown 🎭 it was a quick walk from the hotel! They have large dining rooms, great service & delicious food! We shared the spinach dip with corn tortilla chips & i devoured the burger on a gluten free bun! So good. Washed it down with a fresh brewed pot of coffee ❤️❤️

Decided to go watch the Detroit Lions vs Vikings game here while on a weekend getaway in the windy city. The service was excellent. Staff waa friendly, attentive and swift at cleaning up the empty cups and plates. We ordered a chicken sandwich and a bacon burger. The chicken sandwich was not good at alll, so I let the waitress know. She was very good about getting me another order in of whatever I wanted. i opted for the Honey Siracha Tenders...YUM! the parmesean truffle fries were great too!

Great food, great atmosphere, and very attentive/personable staff. Wanted a comfortable place to sit alone at the bar and watch the game and this was perfect. Highly recommend.

This was my first time here. It’s easy to find, the selection of beer is extensive, and they have a lot of bourbon choices as well. Happy hour is when you want to be there! Each day has different food and drink options. I sat at the bar. Easy seating and the bartenders are awesome- very responsive and engaging. I’ll be back!

Came here last night to eat, nice cozy interior, our waitress was amazing! We ordered the pretzel trio, Parmesan Garlic wing basket, and my husband had a roast beef sandwich. They made some killer Shirley Temples, and recommended a tasty beer! We ended up getting the Angry Orchards crisp apple on tap. We went on 12/11/21 as an early anniversary dinner. (12/12/12 was our wedding day)

Do you remember the Timy O'toole History??? Well, here we are!!! Just eat something to refresh the bad notice about the Disney Store are Closed, but suddenly finding on the web map about the Star Wars Show and that was our target.

Timothy O’Toole is always a favorite. The place is also on with great food and even better drinks. We celebrated a birthday with the pub’s Holy Water. The drink taste great going in but be careful not to over indulge, this one sneaks up on you!

A nice bar with plenty of screens to watch the games and large tables to seat bigger groups. The Guinness here is decent although the barman who served us clearly didn’t know how to pour a Guinness. I ordered the Guinness and had it in my hand 30secs later, the barman obviously didn’t let it sit before topping it off. The trio of pretzels here is very tasty, especially with the honey mustard sauce

One of the best pub burgers I've had in my life. I was staying at a hotel just up the street, after a flight delay turned my travel time to Chicago from about five hours into about twelve. Everything was closing fast and I was ravenously hungry. Seeing that they were close and still open, I called up the lovely people here at Timothy O'Toole's and placed a takeout order. Very helpful on the phone, and the order was ready exactly when they said it was. Plus everything was delicious; absolutely amazing pub fare.

Such a wonderful experience! We had 2 people in our party in wheelchairs. The staff was beyond accommodating and did not make us feel like a burden. 10/10 recommend! Sammy was the nicest server! We called ahead and they gave us directions on the wheelchair entrance. Someone met us at the door it was easy and meant the world to us. It's so hard going out sometimes to find ADA compliant places and then people who are actually nice about putting in the extra effort. Thank you for everything we greatly appreciated it!
