First time here, celebrated an anniversary. Porterhouse was huge and delicious! Shrimp dejoung with mashed potatoes, also very good. After dinner we had a french silk and key lime martini at the bar, yummy!

This place is huge with a great atmosphere on the loud & quite ends of the spectrum, the kind of establishments you only see In Texas. This place has a beautifully built outside patio with a fireplace and a stage for live entertainment on the West side. Right next to the patio area, they have an inside dining area with a beautiful sports bar, but is very loud in here. Both the patio area and the dining area next to it have hand made tables built out of big tree trunks, which is cool. I would not recommend the dining section by the West bar if you're on a romantic date, or not a fan of any place that is kind of loud. When they have big crowds it's hard to have a conversation without shouting at each other. Finally, on the East side they have another bar with three sectioned off rooms with white tablecloths draped over the tables and cloth napkins. The East side is super quite in contrast to the West side, this is where you want to be on a romantic date. Then later on move over to the stage side and catch some live entertainment. Most of the food here is fantastic. Especially their steaks, they are high quality cooked to perfection and very tender. The crab linguine, mash potatoe, artichoke soup were delicious. I was not a big fan of their calamari, it had way too many pickles and slices of deep fried breaded lemon and lots of lettuce underneath to give it the appearance of a big portion, but is not. To top it off it had a fishy smell to it. Their mixed drinks were phenomenal, our bar tender knew what he was doing. Their beer selection is not so great, if you're a craft beer connoisseur you will be disappointed. That's why we opted for mixed drinks. The service was hit or miss, our waitress can definitely use some more training so she can take her job more seriously and not disappear for most of time. I just don't think that at those prices, clients should have to settle for lukewarm soup, and have to get up from their table to go look for their waiter or waitress when they need something. I definitely will give them a second chance, but not a third one.

Very large outdoor seating area, great service, wonderful food. The blackened salmon was fabulous. Draft beer $4.50.

I have not been to Krapil's Steak House since the mid 70's and the entire ambiance was excellent, along with the Waitress doing a very good job, but for a place known for their steaks, the 14 Oz. Aged Bone In Steak and it was as tough as shoe leather. The outdoor garden seating area was just awesomely beautiful though and I wish that someone was performing on their stage while we were there, because it looked like a very professional set-up.

Dinner was delicious as usual. We moved out of state and miss Krapils. So it's always a must have when we are in town visiting. Thank you

This place is great. First time here. I'm so happy that this place seated us before the rest of our party arrived. Which is very rare because most places want your whole entire party there so you can be seated. We ordered drinks and waited for the rest of party ordered a raspberry margarita it was great. Me and the hubby ordered the steak for 2 .The steak was amazingly perfect . Soup and and salad was delicious. I highly recommend it . Pricey is one way to put it but worth it.

I have been going to this place for almost 22 years and have noticed that the food is not the same as it used to be, the steaks are still Dry-Aged, but the taste has been off for a while. I ordered the filet (Bone in) and it was cooked perfect, but it was not as flavorful as it used to be. The menu has gotten bigger, and I recommend the appetizer platter (It's pricy $$) but you do get a good variety and good size portions (Enough to share). I miss the relish tray that they used to have, it's a shame they took it off the Menu, it was a signature item! The service is good but needs improvement (My waitress on the last visit was very good) I wish they took time to train more professional severs). The place needs a MAJOR REMODELING job in the dining room, the owners are not paying attention the dining room area and seem to be more interested in the outdoor beer garden and poker machines. The outdoor area is nice but looks cheap. The garlic bread used to be made to order, and now is precooked and comes out dry, they need to get back to the basics in the kitchen, and the service. Large parking lot, and valet is also on site, with live entertainment on the weekends. Hopefully this place improves.

Our server, Jacob, was very attentive and got all of our details correct. He checked up on us during the meal. My husband had steak and I had the blackened salmon and both were wonderful! We went early (because we are old) and there was a great mix of people. Food was great, service was great and the atmosphere was great!

A really cool vintage supper club/ steak, chop house. Good ribs, shrimp, sandwiches. Hear that pizza is good too. Due to weather, we ate in the dining room, nice, but their beer garden is fun in summer.

I have to average out my most recent visit with the handful of previous visits I've had to this restaurant. Previously I have come with other adults for drinks, food, and a good time. The patio is very nice in the summer, the food is decent, and the atmosphere is fun. However, I recently had a large lunch party for my son's baptism and I failed to think about how kid friendly this place is, which is to say not very kid friendly. We were seated at two high top tables and they do not have high chairs so we had to switch to a low table. If I had known there were no high chairs or booster seats I would have brought my own. We had to juggle my very active 13 month old while eating which needless to say made for a stressful lunch. Our original high top table was also right in front of the kitchen doors which I was glad to move away from. Also, there are no changing tables in the bathroom. I had to change my baby on my changing pad balanced between the sink and the end of the counter top. That was definitely a struggle. I would come here again but do not bring babies here.

Started out with the red sangria and a lime margarita for drinks. Really enjoyed the seasoned salmon and fries and I got to taste the burger which was Phenomenal!!! I'll definitely get the burger next time!!

We went here for my husband's birthday and we liked it a lot. We were skeptical, since it's out of our comfort zone, but it's worth trying. My husband got the ribeye, my kids got pizza and hamburger, and I had stuffed mushrooms with asparagus. We loved the atmosphere.

Not kid friendly at all! Parents beware there are no high chairs. I'm ok with no kids menus but come on... no high chairs? My baby had to sit in his car seat or on my lap the whole time which was awful. The food was so slow to come out and it was like mediocre bar food, not what I expected from a steak house and the price. The patio was beautiful and our server was friendly and pleasant but not very attentive. We will not be going back because of the struggle with the child. How hard would it be to have a couple of high chairs?!?! There were other families with little children. I guess they do not want kids there.

Very disappointed with the hospitality from the greeters. We made a reservation for 7 people and was seated at a very small table that was unleveled. When asked was there another table we was told that we should have made reservations (which we did). Not recommended for a mixed group of middle aged adults because we were treated differently then the other people that was there. However the food was good and our waiter was excellent.

Went for retirement a dinner. Seated at first on patio, about 14 people attended. WAY TO NOISY. Moved us to bar room. Much quieter till after work Friday crowd started filling it up. We were older group mostly, with one wheel chair. Bathrooms on this side NOT handicap accessible. Large appetizers. Calamari too. This is a steak joint with a few seafood options. Food was ok. Presented nicely. Dessert cakes (chocolate and lemon a bit on dry bland side. Carmel carrot cake was moist and tasty and 2 slices were on each plate, versus only one for chocolate and lemon. Go figure? Staff was kind and helpful. This place is great if you want noise, a younger crowd, and pricey good meals; not for a pleasant retirement or talkative family dinner. I am too old to go here again. Younger crowd should like it! Couple of slot machines in bar area. Have fun y'all.

Was there July 2023. Best thing is the outdoor dining ambiance. Very nice. But menu is limited, though you can order from the "inside" menu, which is a full steakhouse menu, somewhat pricey. Outdoor menu needs some reworking and updating, but pricing is moderate.

We really had a great time. The steaks were perfect. The server was excellent. We seated near the bar. Not my favorite place to sit. But the food and service was worth it.

Worst service ever. Never had server come and check on our food after it was dropped on our table semi cold. I guess we were not over drinking in the patio area to matter. I thought we were in a classier steak house, when order med rare and get almost well done. But wait no server comes around to talk to to fix it. Will not be back.

First time going here. Paul was great. Everyone had a bit of something different. I had the Coconut shrimp app and Parmesan crusted NY Strip. Cooked perfectly, how ordered. Tasted great. For 15 people to be happy was a great accomplishment, Paul. We will be back.

This hidden gem is everything. The staff are exceptional *Sharin*. There waa no wait. Environment waa fun and friendly. Patio seating is a must--- even in the winter. The drinks are top tier. All of the soups, salads, and appetizers were fresh. I recommend the Shrimp Brushetta, Caesar salad, or the loaded mashed potatoes. Lobster and steak were succulent. The drinks.... whoaaaaa Stephanie has a talented wrist and we love her for it; grab the French Martini guys. Five star visits. 5/5 Here guys. Did I forget the live entertainment?

Exceptionally well prepared steaks. I honestly cannot recall the last time that I had a steak cooked so well in a restaurant. Calamari is unique and excellent. Give the carrot cake a try. You'll be happy that you did.

I want to like this place, but it's hit or miss. Four of us went for dinner on Sunday. We sat on the patio, the table was sticky, the waitress was nice but not around much and apparently had a very long way to go for drinks. 2 of us ordered burgers. One medium rare and one medium. Both were way over cooked, the tomato and onion were paper thin and not enough to complement the flavor. And then we had to listen to the people on the video gambling machines that were having way too much fun. I haven't had a good burger in a while and I surely didn't get one on Sunday. Like I said, I really want to like this place but you don't know what you are going to get.

Delicious food! Great staff and wonderful atmosphere. Kids loved it and they even gave my daughter a cookie sundae with a candle for her birthday. First time there and will be definitely coming again.

Overall pretty disappointed for the amount we paid. We sat in the patio and we were given a new waiter and it was second day there. The steaks come with soup or salad. I had a soup and my wife had a salad. The soup is about 3 ounces in a tiny tea cup fashion and the salad was brown and wilted. The waiter was nowhere to be found so I had to search for him. It took forever to get the salad replaced and it arrived with the main meal. We had a surf and turf and a porterhouse 24oz. The steaks and lobster were miraculously great and no complaints there. By the ln, the other parties that were there must have been ultra drunk. We couldn't get the other patrons to stop bumping into our table or leaning against our table. It was the place to be for their conversations. Overall it was $191 for 2 steaks, a lobster tail with a bad experience. You can bet we'll never be back. They have cheap $12 sandwiches and cheap priced booze on the patio. This place is perfect for that. Free valet as well so that you dont have to walk to your car drunk. If you're looking for your money's worth on a steak, go elsewhere.

The food was amazing!!! No complaints here especially coming from a picky eater. Our waitress was on top of her game. She was always checking to make sure we were OK and if she seen our glasses low. She would grab you another one instead of waiting around just to ask for a refill. The atmosphere was so cozy. Absolutely beautiful inside and out.

The service was excellent. I have to honestly say....the food was probably some of the I've ever had anywhere! The steak was like melting butter in my mouth. All the sides, and the appetizer(baked oysters) were A1. Can't wait to go back!

Was recommended by a dear friend. Was very disappointed. Asked for light sauce on the ribs. They were pretty wet. Too sweet for me. If you like sweet & peppery its for you. They forgot my smashed potato. Wilted lettuce in the lame salad. Flavorless croutons. I guess i should have ordered the steak. Thats what their known for. My bad. Maybe just a bad day. The ribs were reasonably priced for a large full slab. they were very tender. So not a total loss. I'd try them again. Before the pandemic you could gind parking there they were so popular. Am sure thry just getting back in the groove.

Gorgeous beer garden, good service and pretty good food. The menu could be a little bigger I felt like the choices were limited. A little pricey.
