Great staff!! Very attentive bar tenders. Great Lisa's and fries. Good music!!

You could not want anymore from a sports bar! More than 20 screens showing everything imaginable. I asked for an EPL game and it wasn't a problem. All the staff are excellent and welcoming. The beers are well priced. I didn't eat but from what I could see the food looked pretty good.

One of the few options to get food late at night in the area. I wasn’t expecting much but to my surprise their classic Chicago dog was really good. However the bartender must have known I was a tourist because he gave me ketchup instead of mustard which is a big no no in Chicago. Regardless it was delicious and I like how you got to put it together with all the toppings served in the side. Fun place to watch the game, hang out, shoot pool and satisfy your late night cravings.

Rude security guard. Was told there was no room for 1 person. Wouldn't allow me in to check bar seating. Went to Theory next door and received great service, sat at a table, and had great food. If you're thinking of coming here check out Theory first.

Frankie & Clyde were fantastic hosts, the ladies also looked after the 3 of us, charging phones and topping up the drinks when they noticed we were low. Great food and brilliant service means I can only give this nothing less than a 5 star review 👏🏼👏🏼

Unfortunately this places gets 2 stars because of the waitress and her horrible service. She acted as if we weren't there for a good 20-25 mins had to order from the bar. Once she did come over after I got my food, she took our orders for drinks and charged us completely different from what the bar did, even charged us $4 for rocks (like isn't that just ice). It was really ridiculous her attitude and the charges. The Chicago hotdog I ordered was delicious though. Would've given 4 stars alone for that but that waitress is horrible, I don't recommend based off that alone

I like this place; the drinks are decent; plenty of friendly people go here I like the diversity. I always ask for Michelle as our waitress she’s always very sweet and attentive. The bad thing is that if you are trying play a song get ready to wait hours u til your songs come up sometimes they do play fairly quick but the songs on cue can be quite a lot at times. The tables are kind of sticky sometimes too.

A PUB on chicago's heart that has get my heart by it's amazing drinks and food and where we found not employers but friends like Clyde who has been near around all the time worried for our demands and needs. Thank so much Clyde you're great!

Most times when I walk into this place, I have to request to put Chicago Sports on the TVs. What's worse is that this 'Sports Bar' doesn't play the sounds of the game even when requested 🫤 The bartenders were friendly and quick but the draft beer was flat and the hotdog I ordered didn't have poppyseeds on the bun... A big miss for a Chicago 'staple'. I LOVE going out to bars for baseball and hockey games but wouldn't pick this place to watch a live sports game.

Do you want some crazy delicious tator tots smothered in cheese and chicken? Well, look no further because this place gives you a mountain of it. This a good bar for some good priced drinks and greasy bar food. If i lived near, this would be one I frequent because of that low key sports bar atmosphere. Our server was very sweet. I will definitely be back here anytime im in town. The bar we used to visit is shut down now, so this will be our new favorite!

Went here to see SUPER BOWL GAME...It was a cool place to hang out at, The PIZZA was HOT AND DELICIOUS🍕 It was crowded due to the game but still enjoyed the ambience and diversity 👍🏼

MUST BE 21 TO ENTER…..no signs anywhere stating that. cant carry out that $3 knock off coke you bought. Soo I cant say its much to brag about. Soda is NOT coke product as the server claims it to be. Seems to be a locals hangout. I ordered the Cheese curds & they was mehh ok. $9.00 tho. Which isnt terrible. Brother ordered the Bosco sticks wasnt bad. My friend ordered the bbq chicken dirty tots, they overload the cheese like fort knox. Your tots are drowning. I personally wouldnt recommend.

Celebrated 25 year reunion. Food and drinks the bomb. They close at 4am. Enjoyed the atmosphere.

Hubby and I along with our adult daughter were spending Christmas 2022 in Chicago. On Christmas evening we found Mother Hubbard's as it was near our hotel AND it was open. We were so glad we did! The food was probably the best meal that we had in Chicago, and was the least expensive. Also, the 3 of us just loved our waitress (sorry I don't remember her name) She served us well, a beautiful lady and so much fun. We tipped her 50% as it was the holiday. Hope I get a chance to return. 100% recommend!

Had the Mother Hubbard Burger. AMAZING! Flavor is top notch. Staple dive bar in Chicago for your 'To-Do' list while in town. Mixed crowd of younger and older. Locals and traveling professionals present during the NBA playoffs tonight. Servers were attentive and there was plenty of staff working the door to control the crowd and keep aisles clear for patrons walking. Wish the presentation of food was a little better or the burger was bigger but flavor is outstanding. Thanks for making Chicago great @Mother Hubbard's!!!

DO NOT GO HERE. IT'S DANGEROUS. BE CAREFUL LOCALS AND TOURISTS. 2nd time. Tab was $150, I cleared for $117...balance was $33 and change. In real time I'm transferring funds..guess it wasn't fast enough for the COKED out server..she calls security..I'm told to either pay or leave (rudely by the way, because now I'm apparently a menace) ..so I leave. Police are called....7 cops. Over $33...two kids were executed at a high school nearby..paltry police response...but 7 cops for $33 after I cleared for $117. The people here look for trouble and conflict.

Clyde is a baller!!! He introduced us to Chicago drinks good and bad. We are fully part of the culture now. Haha. Also—shiner bock on tap?? What a win, as a Texan.

One of the best experiences l have ever had! We were visiting from Tx and the drinks were on point. Food was good too! But the service and atmosphere were the best! Our bartender Chris made the place feel very inviting and served the drinks perfectly! Really impressed with this place that a local recommended but from the doorman, waiter, bartender and the rest of the staff it felt like I could easily be there every night!

Frankie, DeAnna and AB were awesome. They made us out of towners feel like regulars, wish more Oregon bars were this friendly. The food was good but the service was even better.

Overall, I have enjoyed this gem for its' dive-sports bar atmosphere which is a rare sight in River North. The late night hours always have me returning after the 2am bars/clubs in the area close. However, my experience last night really made me question who they employ. I ordered two rounds at the bar over the course of 30mins and took them to our table to enjoy. A very unprofessional, rude, and blunt waitress came up to us and informed us that we had to order from her. To our surprise, we apologized and agreed to do so. The lack of service during a rather slow night shocked our table that we even had a waitress. 25 minuets went by as we were ignored by said waitress waiting to order another round of drinks. We attempted to flag her down, but to our dismay she decided to chat with security, take shots with co-workers, and sit at other tables on her phone. Our thirst overcame us as we decided to return to the bar, as the speedy service was far better than what we received from our "waitress." As we are enjoying our drinks, she had the audacity to return to us and state, "security will kick you out if you do not stop taking up table space." At this point in the night it was 2:30am on a Sunday night, there was ample table space throughout the bar. I thankfully did not catch her name, because if I did the owner would be informed of her poor work ethic and lack of professionalism.

This place is amazing also a five star for the bartender Clyde. That guy was amazing. The food is good too.

Good place to drink pitchers of beer and not spend a lot of money. Always had great service here. It's a good dive bar if that's what you're looking for. Good atmosphere.

Visited after a bears game with a total of 6 guests, probably 7 or 8 pm. Tons of TVs to watch whatever game, but the volume is way too loud to be able to hold a conversation with your table. The food is very good, but the waiter was not overly thrilled with having to wait on us. We had to flag him down several times to refill drinks or place a food order, and he never checked to see how our meal was. The waitress for the other tables refused to make eye contact with us so we could ask her to get our server. Basically you are coming here for some very good burgers or wings (they are HUGE). Not for conversation or the service.

Best Wings outside of Buffalo. I didn't believe it until I tried for myself. Flavor is very similar to Duffs in Buffalo for those who have been there. Fun atmosphere and wonderful service. Not too many place you can order pitchers of quality IPA. Great IPA selection, much better than I expected from a sports/dive bar & grill.

Old bar style restaurant. Service was great. Staff was very accommodating and were able to find an obscure out of town game we wanted to watch. Prices were very reasonable. Not fine dinning but good pub grub. Pool tables and lots of screens.

Nobody checked my ID whatsoever upon entrance to bar or when I ordered a drink. They did not mandate masks or check vaccination cards in accordance with the State and City Regulations. Definitely contributing negatively to the pandemic. They were the only bar on the entire street that never checked ID, mask, or vaccination card. The bartenders and the waitresses were not even wearing masks at all. Recommend definitely going somewhere else.

Great atmosphere. I had a really great time and prices weren’t insane. The staff was incredible. Anne was great and made it really fun being there. Only food I grabbed were the fries but they were great. Definitely going back.

I love the bartenders here, the atmosphere is really nice, went there this evening for my second time and had my ID taken by the bouncer. I was harassed after offering to call the police to get it back and it was finally returned to me after showing my birthday on Snapchat? Interesting concept. Bouncer was working around 5 on august 19th. Love everyone else though great bar besides that.

I’m very disappointed about my experience tonight at this place. I usually come here with some friends to enjoy a few drinks and get a bite in the meantime. I am still in disbelief in the service provided tonight. We ordered a few drinks, our server then came back and offered us another round. We proceeded to order our next round and before the server leaves our table, we let her know my friends and I were stepping out for a smoke. We did that to in advance to make sure our drinks would not get thrown out by accident. We come back from our smoke break to an empty table, mind you we each had about two drinks at table, one of those not even touched. We let our server know and she seems clueless and goes for her manager. The manager comes over and I’m not sure if he was drinking on the clock, but is literally slurring his words saying, “We can check the cameras and I ask, please. He then backtracks his words and says, “ I will take care of you.” Nonetheless, our drinks were not replaced and the manager rudely brought some water over, kind of insinuating we were intoxicated. I am very diss appointed about our experience tonight and I would just advice to stay away from this place. There are many other spots in the city that will take better care of their patrons.

One of my favorite spots downtown nearby the Chicago River for the last 15+ years. It's not fancy, it's not even a spot that can guarantee a clean restroom on some nights -- but it's always top notch. The drinks, the grub, the music, the staff, the pac-man!

I love this bar, it's my forever go to bar but during my last visit I was slightly disappointed because the drinks are literally just ice there wasn't even a sip of alcohol in it. Also they were out of some ingredients for the only Christmas special drink they had on the menu.

Nice relaxed atmosphere with great service and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. My burger was perfect!!

Nice sports bar. Plenty of TV's. Being from Cincinnati known for our cheese coney dog I had to try the Chicago dog! Its ok but the cheese coney dog wins! $15 pitchers of beer! A little pricey but it's Chicago! Great service!

Michelle the server (not the bartender) was an absolute angel!! I smashed my finger (NOT at the bar) and it was bruised and she brought me a cup full of ice so i could ice my finger. She brought me a birthday shot too! My other server was super attentive too! Super friendly employees and great atmosphere! 10 out of 10 definitely recommend. Though none of the ladies bathroom doors work. Didnt bother me at all but just a heads up!

Me and some friends went to this bar and were greeted by the best bouncer ever. Big A is an incredible guy and was talking to us about our time in Chicago. Our bartender Brittany was so funny and made our drinks perfectly. Then we got our food and I truly thought I was in heaven. Everything we got was amazing. I could not recommend this place enough.

Food was decent , definitely a great place to watch a game . But the service and bartenders were fantastic. Tiffany Clyde & I think his name was Andy were so welcoming . They had great recommendations for other things to do in the city and seem like they love their job. I definitely recommend for Monday night foot ball!

Love this place so much. For Valentines Day, our favorite bartender, Clyde was giving a rose to every couple who went. There's always such a personal touch in the service they provide.

Our friend group found ourselves needing a good beer and we found ourselves in this hot spot! Clyde made us amazing shots and properly welcomed us to Chicago from Austin, Texas. Thanks ya’ll!

I love a good sports bar and this was one of the nicest I've had the pleasure of visiting. Cleaner than a bar has the right to be, the music was good, vibe was good, and the service was excellent. Clyde was observant and intuitive enough to recommend shots that my diverse companions all enjoyed. 10/10, would absolutely return.
