Food here is solid. They have a couple gluten free options, including gluten free noodles for the pasta. Downside is, the noodles were a bit overcooked and therefore fell apart quite easily. Our server was great! Made good recommendations and was very accommodating. There is a lot of outdoor seating available, and it’s covered! But the chairs are quite possibly the most uncomfortable chairs. You’d think there’s supposed to be a cushion on it. They were a bit weird about switching chairs.

Such a cute restaurant in Fulton Market! Everything about it, from the food to the service to the atmosphere is fantastic! We went on a Sunday so it wasn't too busy and we got a nice booth to sit in. The service was great and the staff is super friendly! The pasta is absolutely amazing, and you can tell it's freshly made (the gnocchi at least). I would definitely go again!

I loved our dinner at Bar Siena. This lasagna was incredible and it’s a really big portion. I tried my friends pasta and it was pretty good too. This is a great place to have a late night dinner and then go out afterwards. Good vibes, chill house music was playing during our dinner. Service was friendly.

Fantastic food, extremely small portion sizes and very fast service. We got a focaccia and butter squash pasta and a chicken breast for our puppy. We were ravenous and polished our plates clean within minutes of the food arriving. Good number of options for vegetarians. I don’t mind the high prices especially for good quality food but small portion sizes really put me off. Come on!! I am sure you don’t have to serve a half portion for the focaccia. At least serve the whole focaccia !! And a few more pieces of the ravioli would have been nice too. The brown butter sauce was delicious. Bottom line: you will have a good time if you decide to come here, but I wouldn’t call this a must-visit restaurant. Also there’s plenty of other good restaurants nearby too.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Bar Siena. They accommodated our reservation on very short notice. Attended to us immediately as we arrived and seated us near the perfect secluded yet integrated section near a window of the 2nd floor dining area. Our server Alex was attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu items. We could tel he took a lot of pride in doing his job well. The drinks were amazing and I highly recommend the No. 13. Our dinner was delicious and the short rib lasagna did not disappoint. Thank you, we’ll be back soon.

The food is amazing here. Nice place, great service. I’d definitely go back if I make it back to Chicago. The ambiance was nice. We had a nice, delicious dinner.

the food is below average (meaning it completely lacked flavor!) and way overpriced. our server was nice, tho!

Delicious! New York strip steak and eggs, and spicy chicken sandwich. It was so yummy! Also ordered a bottle of prosecco for $62, and a mimosa kit with three different juices was $10. Parking is a bit hard to find on the street; they do offer valet.

Delicious food, good ambiance and very fast and good service overall. We ordered pizza and octopus entrée, both were good. We will definitely come back to try out more things on their menu.

Went there for a dinner on a Monday night - was easy to get a table without a reservation. Got the chicken as recommended by the server. It was excellent! Full of flavor (marinated for 8 hrs before cooking). Vegetables are very fresh too. Very tasty!

Surprised by the calibre of the food, as I expected it to be more traditional low quality “bar” fare. The food was excellent and very tasty - the roasted heirloom carrots probably the best I’ve ever had. Service quick and efficient as well. Possibly a little too pricey - but where isn’t these days 🤷‍♂️ Overall a great lunch experience and highly recommended

Been a couple times now and it’s been a fine but unspectacular experience. I think this place is okay for a safe work lunch but definitely wouldn’t go out of my way to come back. I’ve enjoyed some of the river north Italian spots much more (rpm Italian, Eataly, Etta). Chop salad and rigatoni were okay, pretty much what I had expected. Scallops had a sweet sauce over them and were pretty good. Potato skins were probably the best part but wouldn’t say they were anything to rave about. Decent vibes but service was slow for a busy weeknight. Felt like the server didn’t care too much for our table. Felt pricey for what we were getting.

Nice environment with good food & drinks. Its on Randolph so self parking on the street is tight as to be expected but they do offer valet for $18 (after 5/6p)

I LOVED the Bailey’s hot chocolate drink. It was perfect for our cold, Chicago night! I also had my favorite pasta, gnocchi, to top off the night!

Chill vibe, nice music, I liked the appetizers, beef tartare was ok, but the other in the photo (pizza dough with honey inside and top with some greens) was good! The cocktail was strong but the one served in wine glass wasn’t has much alcohol.

I stopped in here on a whim for a quiet Saturday brunch with my mom and partner. The food was pretty decent but nothing more than good for bar food but well portioned for the price/ ingredients. We sat on the 2nd floor and it was beautiful day so all of the windows were open and we got to enjoy the views of the city outside. The service and atmosphere were really challenging. They had a DJ playing at 12 Noon at club-level volumes which is a choice, but it made it a little difficult to enjoy the meal and felt pretty incongruous with the decor. It didn't help that the server (who had an expensive manicure with long nails, making it challenging for her to pour water) was practically whispering. I would consider stopping by again, but I'd rather sit on the patio or somewhere a little quieter where I could have a conversation.

I recently visited Bar Siena in Fulton Market for a Saturday brunch after a trip to the Guinness bakery. The bustling restaurant scene in the area can be overwhelming, but Bar Siena was able to seat us right away, which was a plus. I started with a mocktail, which was quite good. However, my partner's Bloody Mary, while tasty, didn't quite live up to its promise of charcuterie - it only came with cheese. A little piece of salami would have been a nice addition. We had high hopes for the monkey bread, which looked stunning. Unfortunately, the taste didn't quite match its appearance. The whipped cream seemed to be from a can rather than freshly whipped, and the bread, while nicely caramelized, lacked that fresh taste I was hoping for. On a positive note, my partner thoroughly enjoyed his focaccia, describing it as super fresh. Unfortunately, for me, the brunch experience fell a bit short of expectations. Overall, Bar Siena offers a vibrant atmosphere and prompt service, but some of the menu items may need a bit of fine-tuning. It's worth a visit, but perhaps not the ultimate spot for a weekend brunch in my book.

I placed an order for door dash and they sent me some reheated potatoes, they are extremely hard and have a lot of oil. These potatoes were not made on the spot. They were fried twice or more. I am angry and disappointed, besides the fact that I waited a long time they gave me something poorly made. I have eaten them at the place and they are totally different. I paid a lot of money and received this inedible. I made the claim on the app and only received $5 refund...really? It's really disappointing. You can see. Totally fried.

Great place for lunch! The restaurant itself is really nice and modern, creating a pleasant atmosphere. They offer a wide range of options, including a vegan menu. The music adds to the overall experience, and the second-floor view of the city is cool.

The food here is always incredible! I've never ordered anything that wasn't delicious. Also the staff is always very accommodating and provides excellent service. A 10/10 all around.

Started off great but once it got busy, service kind of went down. They may need more staff. Food was decent: truffle fries 3/5, margarita pizza with Calabrian chili 4.5/5, rigatoni 4/5, drinks 5/5. We were hoping they could make the gnocchi vegetarian but they already put the sausage in the sauce so they were not able to accommodate. We were excited for dessert but I think I there was a confusion about which table ordered donuts so by the time we finally got our, they were cold and did not taste good.

Great place to gather for food and drinks! Our server Meigen was amazing and was very knowledgeable. She helped us find delicious items and made the experience very pleasant.

I honestly thought this was just a bar that happens to serve ok food, hence the name "Bar" Siena but was pleasantly surprised by thoughtful, flavorful dishes that really surprised me. The octopus cichetti was absolutely fantastic and rivals some of the Peruvian places' octopus dishes. I never expected such a well thought out dish here especially as a small dish. The lobster pasta dish was delicate and wonderful while the burrata beet salad was light and refreshing. I can't wait to come back here to try more dishes as we kept it fairly light on this visit. Only recommendation is to pass on buying a whole wine bottle, and stick to the cocktail drinks and other individual drinks.

I went to Bar Siena with a group of friends visiting from out of town. We were seating in the booths upstairs after checking in for our reservation. The restaurant was quite loud and full on both floors. Our server was prompt in coming to the table to take our drink order and to walk through the menu. They were quick in bringing drinks and then following up with our main orders. The food came out as it was ready and was a nice way to have a casual meal with friends. The dishes were tasty with the focaccia being our favorite. Overall the dinner was good and a great spot for a group.

Excellent table service with a cozy and casual vibe. I had a perfect Manhatten and we shared a lovely bottle of red with our meal. The charcuterie plate was loaded with excellent meats and cheeses. Loved the octopus, though also could have been grilled a slight bit more gently. The NY steak wasn't our favorite, a bit overcooked and stringy, but still flavorful. Cheesy orecchiette was rich and yummy. We'll definitely be back to enjoy a cocktail and try some of the other menu offerings.

Had a nice time with my husband. The ambience is very nice. The food was good. I had the burger and the Parmesan fries were delicious. The sangria was nice and strong. My only gripe is that we went at 2pm on Sunday and they only had the brunch menu available. I was looking forward to trying their pasta but I was told I couldn’t. That sucked. Other than that, it was a nice time.

Great service and delicious food. The truffles and mushroom pizza is probably my favorite. The fries are crispy and so yummm! Highly recommend

Mushroom pizza was good. Would've enjoyed the pasta dish more if it wasn't salty. I'd go back.

Decent brunch spot. Burrata had a lot of fresh flavors and one of the better sangrias I've had. Would try to come back here for happy hour sangrias. It can get pretty hectic during peak dinner times so would I'd avoid any popular times unless I had a reservation.

Bar Siena is a live fun spot in the west loop. Prior to the pandemic, Bar Siena was the best spot, and I’m happy to see it still is. Came here twice over the past two months and it gets better every time. The drinks and their quality was really good. I would highly recommend this italian restaurant.

Was pretty good. Great service, nice ambiance, pizza was decent. Music was too loud for me. People want to talk and not shout and kill their voices. Be mindful of that!

Went here for a celebratory dinner. Great place for groups. Birthdays here would be really fun because they offer sparklers that can be appreciated from across the room. Wine and cocktail selection was quite good too. I got the scallops and enjoyed the flavor immensely. The desserts were divine and I left feeling satisfied.

We went there twice, once for a brunch and one time for dinner. Both were tasty. I should mention the delicious pizza they have! 👏🏼

Awesome place, so far it's been impossible to pick something I didn't like. The beer selection is great, the staff is nice, and the outdoor seating has been perfect.

Always enjoy the rich, creative flavors at Bar Siena. Was able to dine outside where we received attentive service from Vanessa.
