Food is fantastic. Service excellent. It's the best on the Madison strip. Great cocktails. Tonight I had the pork chop special.. Two chops with asparagus and peppers for less than 15 dollars. I wanted to take a pic but I ate too fast!

Fantastic food, great service, chill atmosphere. The steak sandwich was divine. The steak was not at all overcooked (as can often be the problem with these sandwiches) and it was complemented perfectly by the onions, mushrooms, and cheese. It being a Monday, the place was not overly busy, but it came across as a friendly neighborhood spot where one of could sit and relax after a long day.

If I could give 0 I would. Was given a menu only to have the waiter disappear and never come back. Legend has it she got lost in the back. It’s pretty disappointing since myself and a group of friends wanted to try this place out because of the good reviews.

Did a Google search for restaurant near RUSH; this popped up; read description of the bar and really wanted to see it. The atmosphere and history is amazing! Beautiful bar! Had a bloody (very good!) and the hummus plate (also very good!) Waitress (Meghan) was very efficient and extremely sweet! Will definitely be back!!

The first bartender was awesome! Then she had to leave. Guys behind the bar were great up until closing. They had some friends sitting at the bar and they were telling everyone to leave but their friends still sat at the bar. My friends and I decided to take a picture before leaving and their friends were obnoxious saying take the pic and get the F out. They bartenders didn’t stop the situation, after they noticed I didn’t stay quite they apologized. But if I wouldn’t of said anything they would have let that go. Not cool and not professional

Delicious meal enjoyed outside! This was the perfect spot for my friend and I to grab some dinner outside and from a safe distance from others after attending a doctor's appointment at the nearby Rush campus. The food was made to order and therefore very fresh and delicious! My friend and I shared the nachos with steak for our appetizer and shrimp tacos (3 tacos come in an order) for our entree, which came with rice and beans. The steak on the nachos was so tender that it practically melted in your mouth. The chips for the nachos are fried fresh upon your order so they were perfection! The nachos had a lot of flavor and toppings! The shrimp in the tacos were delicious although the taco as a whole was on the spicy side for me. However if you like spicy food you would probably love these! Definitely check O'Sullivan's out!

A dumpster fire of a bar&grill. Cronyism and racism is alive and thriving there. I could not believe my ears when I heard of my friend’s 22yr old son’s terrible experience there: which was an awkward as f encounter with the doorman who, after glaring and seething like an alpha dog at three of his black and mixed race friends who all presented legal ID’s, refused to let them in stating “these just don’t look RIGHT”. When they asked to speak to the manager the bartender came up and sided with the doorman. Terrible place unless you have the skin color passport.

Typical Midwestern neighborhood bar. Clean welcoming surroundings , surprisingly large beer selection. Food is ok to good - they do somethings really well (wings , any burger, sole starters), and some things not so well (wraps, salads). Service is strange - sometimes wonderful , other times very unpredictable

This review is actually for May 2022. It just started being nice out and my boyfriend and I were looking somewhere to go for lunch that had a patio and we were with our 9 month old at the time. I found O’Sullivans on Google because of the patio. When we arrived we were not greeted right away and there was no sign that said “wait for host or hostess or anything” so we weren’t sure what to do. We tried walking towards the back of the patio area since that is why we went. We decided to sit by the high top tables across from the bar and they have the large windows open to feel the nice weather. When we sat down we did end up being greeted and the staff was friendly. We even had to have a change for our waitress due to their staffing and the next person was just as friendly. The food was just okay, and I normally love bar food. I recommend more or so for just the drinks, but we could have ordered the wrong thing. The potato skins were over cooked so there was barely any potato and the sandwiches were dry. It was family friendly when we went, we saw tons of others kids.

New to the area and stumbled across this place. Thought I was walking into a dive bar, walked into a little gem. Great service from bartenders to wait staff, friendly locals, and GREAT food! Beautiful outdoor patio space. Highly recommended.

Best restaurant and bar in the west suburbs. Great food and drinks. Atmosphere is exactly what you want and expect. Always a decent crowd here and is always open.

Great historical building with original copper ceilings, great service, and best food of any bar in the Oak Park/River Forest area!

Pretty underwhelming. Nachos were made with MELTED cheese not a cheese sauce which made it hard to eat as it cooled. I personally hate nachos with melted cheese so that just killed the vibe of them honestly but the chicken they use for them was good. Toppings were overall decent. I got a burger & my bun was burnt but the actual patty was decent. Overall pretty disappointing but not terrible in taste.

Nice Irish Themed Bar in Forest Park. Sat outside in the patio area for an event. Average chicken tenders and mini sliders with a real pickel slice! Worth a try if you are in the area.

We had a great time at O’Sullivans last night for dinner. The atmosphere was lively - they had the front windows open for fresh air and their patio open as well. We had great service and we both ordered burgers and a beer. The burgers were delicious and the fries were great. They have tvs all over so we will come back to watch the bears or college football next!

O'Sullivan's has decent food and a nice atmosphere. However, we stopped by on Saturday. It was busy, but not slammed and we could literally not get a server to come to our table. Even after multiple requests and going to the bar, we finally gave up after almost 40 minutes. We went down the street to somewhere else. Too bad. I guess we'll give them another chance sometime in the future, but not any time soon based on how this visit went.
