Out of all the places to consider for Valentine's Day, we chose Mama Vesuvio's. The meal was wonderful. The waitstaff was good. My only issue was that the bill was several dollars more on each item than what was stated on the menu. One item could be a mistake, all of them is just not right. Not worth worrying about, we just will have to have a really good reason to consider coming back.

Rude and condescending hostess and waitress. Felt unfriendly and unwelcome. The bathroom smelled like sewer and dirty carpet. Went to see a friend play in his band, our party of 8 was not able to sit together, which was fine but we did not see a waitress for an hour, until we alerted the hostess. Service was worst I have ever had! Waitress was rude, passive aggressive, and condescending. It was unbelievable! The food was disappointing, so salty and bland. I would not recommend or go back.

We sat in the lounge. And I'm rating the lounge atmosphere 4 stars cuz it wasn't that great. But, food was superior. You get warm bread and butter with olive oil and parm cheese. I ordered the chicken Limon with angel hair pasta. The dish was super tasty. My dish comes with either soup or salad and I picked salad with their house Italian. We also ordered tiramisu for dessert. Super rich and creamy. House made. If we are in the area we will def be back.

Phenomenal amazing Italian food! Homemade sauces that are incredible! Great customer service.. Great hostesses, great servers, bartenders and busboy service! And they also have fun bocce ball! There’s also bands and the outdoor garden is cool. Great place for a date night, family, or an event! I’ve been here in the past but came recently and it never disappoints. So very good!

The Pizza was great! The Service/2 Waitresses, not so good. We walked in on the patio side and asked for a table, 3 were getting cleaned and ready, so We had a choice. Ultimately it was up to Me, since My Wife and friend went to the bathroom. I picked one, but it was a tall table and My friend asked the bus boy if We could switch tables, He said fine. It was literally right next to the other one so I don't know why No one helped with Our order. Neither Waitress! My Wife ended up ordering Our food through the Bartender, Who ended up getting a really nice gratuity.... The only reason I am putting 3 🌟s is that the food and entertainment was really good. Hopefully if You go here, You don't switch tables. Lol!

First time going there for my moms birthday dinner and was definitely disappointed. Right when I got to the table there was a dead Gnat, which whatever, it happens. Just swiped it off the table. Then we ordered our food, some drinks and the gnats started coming. My mom went to the bathroom and the smell was horrible and more gnats all over. Once our food came out we were ready to go. We were nonstop waving our hands to get the gnats away. One of the workers (who looked like a manager) came up and asked if everything was okay and we explained about the gnat problem. She looked around like we were crazy. So I just asked for a box. Another waitress came up with our check which we also told her there is a horrible gnat problem and she didn’t even respond and walked away. I worked in the restaurant industry for years and could not believe the way the staff handled the problem. Definitely never returning.

Good thing I'm fat or else I would have had to take some of my meal home. I had the veal limone which was fantastic. My dad had the ravioli which was also great. The atmosphere was great too.

Italian food is hard to satisfy a stomach sometimes. The food was very good and the service was impeccable. Liz the waitress was on point and very knowledgeable about the food served. But make sure you have a reservation because if not it's 45 minutes to be seated which didn't seem right to me seeing that most of the tables were empty.

I feel bad posting this, because we have been coming here for years. My wife and I had our first date at Mama Vesuvio, and we had our wedding reception there, and always enjoyed it. Unfortunately we had a bad experience on Sunday. We went there for my wife's birthday, and all was good, except service was a bit off, the band was too loud coming from the lounge into the dining room, and worst of all my stepson got served spoiled chicken. We were sure because my stepson is a seasoned restaurant manager. They did the right thing though and took it off our bill. There were also fruit flies. We won't be going back.

Overall great experience. Loved the pizza , service was good . Pink lady drink wasn’t on the menu but they went the extra mile to make one for me ! Very nice !! The bruschetta needed a little more balsamic tho but still very tastey !

False Prices posted online. We were trying to place catering order, and when we called prices were almost double of what was posted on their menu on their OWN website.

FORMERLY one of our favorite Italian eateries. Most recent visit was disturbing, FRUIT FLIES ! We had to keep swiping them away while we ate our dinner. Food is still excellent quality, the service phenomenal, but this was so annoying. Told the waitress, she suggested we tell management. He apologized and said it was an "ongoing" problem, they had exterminators out and the situation is unresolved! WHY would you subject your customers to this situation? So sad we will not be going back anytime soon.

Went for funeral luncheon. Actually closed on Monday, but opened up for luncheon. The deceased was a regular there and a bocce ball player there. Super awesome of them to do that. Everything superb. Thank you.

I went a couple of weeks ago to Mama Vesuvio’s. Shared a BBQ chicken pizza with my husband and I’ve been wanting to go back ever since. Best crispy crust and most incredible pizza I’ve ever had. If it was closer, we would have ordered 5 more times since our visit!!! YUM!!!

Our server Samantha was fantastic. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best. I ordered chicken limone and my spouse ordered chicken Alfredo. We could barely taste the difference in the sauces. The Alfredo was very milky and the Limone was barely lemony. It’s sad that two pretty easy sauces were a flop at an what is supposed to be an Italian restaurant. I used to love this place! What the heck happened?

Tasty marinara sauce that goes onto the homemade pastas. Get a baked past that has a humongous amount of mozzarella on top. Hot bread that goes great with the best house made Italian dressing. 2 for 1 Tuesday. Portions so huge you have at least 1 leftover meal.

This was the second time we have been here, drove past many times finally decided to stop back in July for my birthday. Honestly the best birthday dinner. Food reminds me of my great grandma (Nana) and my grandma (Mimi) cooking. My husband and I will definitely be back again

We are regulars. Great food & atmosphere. Nice dining room, patio, and large bar dining area. Servers are all very good. They also do banquets. We hosted a 50th anniversary from Roosevelt Junior High… worked out great! Check em out.

There are 3 things people look for in a restaurant: FOOD/DRINKS, SERVICE, AND ATMOSPHERE. Good food but terrible service. Bocce ball was really fun. If you're ethnic you're out if your atmosphere. Take that however way you want but definitely felt like that could be why I received bad service with rude staff. The girl really took away my plate before I could finish putting all my food in the to go container. Hard to get any drinks from there. Will not be returning sadly.

This cost $15.95 for 6 pieces of dried up edges ( the noodles were so dry and old) food was cold and tasted nasty! I will never order from here again

Very good food! Excellent value for the amount on your plate. Service was far above average. Love the fresh bread. On Tuesday they offer a 2 for 1 special that can't be beat anywhere. Highly recommend!

Good portions, great flavors, friendly service. Well priced especially for the large portions. I would recommend the Spumoni for dessert but they also have homemade canolis. Parking lot out front, easy to get to, lots of seating and private rooms.

Food was good, Service was friendly but a little slow due to how busy they were. Nice old school atmosphere

Mama Vesuvio’s was a great place for a wedding rehearsal dinner. The food was delicious, and the staff was outstanding: friendly, polite and prompt. We had reserved the patio and Dale was kind enough to call to offer us the banquet hall, which was available, because the forecast for the next day was 95 degrees. She didn’t have to call, or make that suggestion. But it was really nice of her to do it. It was a lovely room and we were all comfortable. I highly recommend the sausage and peppers. It’s really nummy.

What a gem of a place! Excellent food - pasta and homemade gravy (sauce),ribs, fish, sandwiches and terrific pizza. Friendly staff. Large and lovely outdoor garden patio with room to dance to live music. Bocci ball area, indoor dining, big parking lot. Good for dates or groups.

We actually had a memorial there. It was very nice. The Band/ music was wonderful.

Excellent food at reasonable prices... A group of us went out after a wake to celebrate the life of a dear friend we loved and lost far too soon. Our server, Julie, was new to Mama Vesuvio's East and had never served a party of our size. She was AMAZING! Kudos to you, Julie, and thanks for your wonderful service! The interior of the restaurant is quite dated and desperately needs a good "face lift," but it is clean, and the food is delicious!

👍👍 I loved my experience here! Great pierogi in a good atmosphere. The restaurant is so cozy, decorated beautifully, and the staff is very welcoming. The drink selection is plentiful, my table ordered German beer, piña coladas, and amaretto stone sours, all tasted amazing! Give them a try
