WOW lived 5 minutes away for 8 years..our first time there. Was AMAZING! The whole experience. Food was beyond perfect. Wait staff great atmosphere wonderful. Piano man playing in the background. WOW.

This steak place is the best steak you can get anywhere in the area! The service is absolutely top notch. Dinner starts with a nice relish tray and a glass of ice water. The Queen filet was absolutely phenomenal and I suggest upgrading to the awe gratin potatoes which are absolutely melted In your mouth amazing. All staff was amazing and professional. The a whole dinner was a great experience I highly recommend this to anybody who wants the most perfect stake in the area!!!!

Some of the food was lacking flavor, and presentation , so was service, and we were seated in a area that was very very dark, very poor lighting. They serve you complimentary bean salad and Cole slaw. They are ok, you also get a fresh loaf of bread, the bread is good. The waitress was very tired we arrived at 3 pm. and yet she was very slow and didn't take our used dishes away, I kept asking ppl to remove them as our table was getting stacked with all the plates, so another waitress was taking our used plates and garbage , she never offered any refills on our drinks or water (refreshed) only alcohol drinks. (only 1 of us had) . We ordered the Sampler platter that was Chicken , Shrimp, Steak. The chicken and shrimp was wonderful steak was cooked good, although it did lack flavor. The mushroom soup was very good. I had ordered Lobster tail it was delish and scallop potatoes they were divine. Others had ordered Chicken and BBQ Ribs . I did try the Chicken and it was grilled and very well flavored. I had went there last year and they had 5 stars on my google , prior to this experience. This visit was far differnt as are most of them. The waitress fell and crashed into me and my knee was swollen for a few days, (her knee had crashed into mine) due to the fact she couldn't see very well, because its so dark in there. People next to our table was reading there menu with there lights from the phones. I did call the restaurant the next day to find out how the waitress was feeling I did ask for the manager, they told me to call back at 3, I did, then they told me to call back at 8, I did, he wasnt available at either times so then, they said call tomorrow, I said no, he can call me. I spoke to Brittney and told her what had happened and she said he would call me. He never did. Sadly after this experience I wont be returning back due to all the times I tried to reach out to them. Oh yes and it doesn't have nothing to do with the man who had a heart attack On the other side of the restaurant and died . It was just poor service and not the best presentation. (old review ) follows here 1 yr ago .Wonderful food service was on point . Everything was delish. I will say the salad should have some tomatoes mine had 1 and the steak wasn't what I expected. The lobster was awesome. The bread and the sampler plate and lamb was off the charts! The flavors were fabulous. And the dessert was nice and the kids loved it. The ambiance was nice, kind of ol school and the music to match. My family brought me here for my birthday. And it was lovely. So yes I recommend for all ppl. Will go back again. Plz try their appetizer the "Sampler" it wont disappoint, and also the bruschetta it was phenomenal. My man loved his ribs as well. The last 6 pics are from 2023 the 2022 is the first 6.

We were celebrating my daughter's birthday. This was our first time at this location, and I wanted to make sure I give a review. I was uncomfortable at first. But the food was excellent, the waiters were very attentive to us. The prices were a little expensive, but we new before we went there. The food was worth what we paid. The Broccoli, Asparagus and the twice baked were great as a side dish, the seasoning that was on them was perfect. We will go back again another day. I recommend this restaurant to others.

Went for my anniversary with my husband. He’s been here before but my first time. Our server, Cassie, helped make it an amazing time. She was very informative on the options with our plates and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. My husband got the porterhouse steak (rare) & I opted for the stuffed chicken. I was only able to finish half my meal but wanted to keep eating for the taste! Though they were busy, we weren’t rushed to order and then eat so they could seat another family. I would definitely come back as a special occasion again.

Best filet cooked to perfection I have had in a while. Love the sides, relishes and fresh bread. Great ambiance and decorations for the holidays. Everything was served in a timely manner and staff is super friendly and accommodating.

Fabulous steak! Cooked to perfection and topped with mouthwatering mushrooms. The dessert was the best part, me and my husband fought over the last piece. 10/10 would recommend.

Amazing service! Great atmosphere! The food is a 10 star rating. Our server Jaime was outstanding. Oyster Rockefeller was perfect. 38oz porterhouse was a spot on perfect medium rare I highly recommend Jack Gibbons to anyone who wants a great meal with great service.

That delmonico steak and that wine were amazing together!! The steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked! It was my birthday and this was by far the best steak I've ever had!

My Porter House steak was cooked to perfection! Shrimp Rockefeller was absolutely delicious. Our server was attentive and friendly despite how busy the dining room was. Great evening!

One of the best meals I've had in a long time! The Surf and Turf (Chicago cut strip) was incredible and perfectly cooked. Steak was especially great, takes a lot of skill to cook a steak that thick perfectly medium. Marge was fantastic and went over and beyond. Been a long time since I've been here, thankfully still has the same old school vibe. Can't wait to go back!

Went here for the first time and absolutely loved the food! Great staff who is extremely helpful and attentive and even better food. The atmosphere has a very fun retro vibe to it that you can’t replace nowadays. I loved everything about my experience and will definitely be coming back!

I do not understand the phenomenon of this place. We chose this place for our wedding anniversary, but we were very disappointed. Our steaks (t-bone, filet mignon) were very average. Tasteless and very rubbery. The only plus is that the service was very good. Besides, this whole place looks like you would go back in time in 30-40 years. Probably that is why this place is popular among old people, because they feel sentimental to the good old days.

Desiree was great, very pleasant, and accommodating. We could be a bit high maintenance, lol, but she maintained her pleasant disposition and never got annoyed. Needless to say, she was well taken care of for her great service!!! The food was delicious as always.

For the majority of the night the food i ordered was delectable and I think I chose well when it came to the steak. The delmonico steak lived up to the hype. However that didn't excuse my wife's disappointment she had ordered the crab legs but the waiter just was honest that they didn't have any how can a restaurant of this caliber be sold out of anything covid isn't a plausible excuse anymore. And nevertheless my cousin ordered the stuffed chicken and once again the waiter was honest and told my cousin don't order that because it always comes back to the kitchen dry or overcooked. If that is the case then it needs to be addressed or just remove it from the menu altogether so there isn't anymore confusion because when I look at a menu I have faith that whatever is there the cook or kitchen will prepare it so it won't have to come back. Thats just common sense but I guess its not all that common anymore. However the service was honest and thats what I truely enjoyed about this establishment and I will come back but before I do I will make a call first to see if they have everything on the menu that I wish to have for that night

The atmosphere was nice, but the food was bland & dry and the waitress was inattentive! The chicken was dry, the steak was bland, & the sautéed spinach; which was frozen spinach was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever tasted ( I sent it back & didn’t get a refund for it or free dessert for my birthday). Will not return!

Everything was great. Had stuffed mushroom caps for app. Delmonico steak was cooked as requested. Mushroom soup was fantastic. Our server was prompt and kind. Overall great experience. Only complaint was that it is a little dark in there.

Went to Jack Gibbons with my team to have our holiday dinner celebration. This establishment did not disappoint. If you are in the mood for a Fred Flintstone type of steak, this is your place! :) Portions are HUGE, sides are generous and ambience and service is exceptional. I had the prime rib and seriously I didn't even need a fork, it was tender and delicious!
