My pizza was hard a cold when I arrived for a pic up. The costumer service wasn’t friendly at all. I asked for the bathroom, they looked at me like I was stupid. I never been there before. So how was I supposed to no where the bathroom is. I don’t no if it was a skin color thing or not but I wasn’t pleased or felt welcome. My pizza is great every time I have it from other locations. I usually have it delivered. This is a no for me

Apparently the location near 111th Kedzie is racist. They wouldn't even look at me, then after some time the manager came out and barked that the dinning room is closed and walked off. It's 11pm they're open until 2am. She provided us with no alternative options. Then I was told the area isn't found of black people. I will not patronize another Barraco because I believe what's true of the part is true of the whole. Terrible 😞

Not the one to pull the racist card and I'm not easily offended but it's there. When you walk in its seems as if all of a sudden they don't know what to do and this wasn't the first time. There was even a customer there who seem disgusted that I was there ordering take out. I honestly didn't even feel safe getting in my car so late trying to get home. What I do know is when it's time to go and that make it very known. Just sad.

On Sunday morning 6/26/2022 we had entered the restaurant after having a lousy experience at Beggars Pizza on Merrionett Park. My niece had never had a Chicago deep dish and I was eager for her to try it before we were to drive 7 hours home that day. Carly waited on us and did an exceptional job and the pizza was fabulous. Thank you for being so welcoming. I will most definitely come back when in the area.

Order online through the slice app. And let's just saying my food was old. It wasn't fresh. The fish sandwich was not fresh. I asked for my tartar sauce on the side. Open the sandwich and it just looked like somebody went bizark and pour a whole bunch of tarter sauce on the sandwich making it sloppier than sloppy joes and unbearable to enjoy. My baked potato wasn't in a container. It was just alone it wasn't even split opened .Definitely wasn't worth my time or money to spend ever at this location very disappointed

OMG! The pizza taste so good! I love it here. I ordered a cheeseLESS pizza with vegetables toppings. It was amazing! I will definitely be back for more delicious pizza. Thank you for being awesome! 🙂

I've been ordering delivery from 111th St for 10 years never a problem but now I called for delivery and I was told they're only delivering in Mt Greenwood they just lost a 10 year customer I know they don't care but I do, so disappointed ☹️

Ordered a 14” extra thin crust pizza. What I got was a burnt nasty pizza! When I called to tell them that I’ll bring the pizza back and would like my money back because I cannot eat it. The cheese pepperoni everything is burnt, he tried telling me well did you read the description it says it stays in the oven longer to get extra crispy. I told him the extra crispy is fine but it being beyond burnt isn’t okay. He told me well you can bring it up and I can look at it but I can’t guarantee a refund if it’s the way we cook it. So I didn’t even waste my time driving all the way back because I could tell he didn’t want to refund me and I checked online again and they might want to fix it because nowhere does it say in the menu you order from online under Nicky’s pizza that it’s cooked longer. It says extra crispy with light cheese and ingredients!! I tried to eat a piece but it was absolutely nasty my dogs wouldn’t even eat it. $27 down the drain. Horrible food, horrible customer service.

Great food, cocktails and wine. We stayed there comfortably for 5.5 hours and it was chill, no pressure to leave. It wasn't busy either. We tipped our server well as she was amazing!

I come here almost once a week with my girlfriend. Food is great, but service needs to seriously be addressed by management. We consistently receive terrible service no matter how busy or slow it is. Servers forget about you and are on their phones. Do better.

I was there Sunday September 4th at about 7:00p To pick up my order. I went to the hostess stand. I was there for a couple of minutes when a couple of Caucasian people came in together and waited at the hostess stand near me. A tall guy came from the back towards the front and immediately put his attention directly on the Caucasian couple before he did me. This didn’t feel good. Also the food was not good.

Awful, I ordered fettuccine Alfredo to go and the sauce was just on the top, the middle was dry and plain. This was the bucket size. Everybody is so busy trying to save by shortening the product and raising the price that they’re losing Customers…Bad job👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

I often visit this restaurant, and take clients there all the time. Usually my food is fine, and service is good. All of that changed the other day, when I arrived with my friend, in the evening. We waited a few for the host to greet us, then she let us know that the restaurant was crowded. While looking for a potential table for us, perhaps in the bar area, an associate of hers came by, and her demeanor was not favorable. It was as if we were not supposed to even grace the restaurant’s door. She did greet us however, then stated that reservations are required at that location on Friday and Saturday. We did not know this, as it is not stated on Google or the company’s website. Nonetheless, the police officers that came in after us, were promptly seated upon our exit from the establishment. Nonetheless, before any defense is made, perhaps yesterday the restaurant was very busy. I understand that. However, that friend and I come there all the time, and every time I’ve called in the past, they say reservations are not required. So, there could have been another way to communicate, or offer us a seat at the bar. This being said, I’m not sure if I’ll ever return to this restaurant, or bring clients to again.

They tell everyone you need a reservation but all the time I was there eating at the bar the dining room was empty. I will not be going back any time soon. The Crestwood location is much nicer and respectful to there guests.

Who gave Barraco's in Mt greenwood a award winning catering award, themselves? The catering charge of $5 isn't too bad , but you must check it and check it again picking up your order AT the restaurant including a 30 pc chicken tray before leaving. Otherwise when you start setting up your party you're leaving to go back to the restaurant to get the rest of your order; with no compensation or apologizes then again returning the things you didn't order and getting your money back , if they can find the receipt. Even though they have a pizza driver delivering in our area they could of make it right, but nobody's thinking there. Cookie the clown must of gave these children the award or they awarded themselves.

I didn't care for the food, our pizza was underdone and honestly pretty bland. Our waitress was super sweet and attentive though, we really appreciated her! The cost for the meal was a bit high for the quality, and the person who cleared our table was clumsy enough to drop a knife on me and not notice. There are better places within comfortable driving distance so we will not return.

Absolutely horrible I ordered the fish combo and received a piece of fish the size of my finger. The breading was half cooked and falling off. The Italian fries were so soggy and tasted like grease. The chicken Alfredo was tasteless and the woman I spoke to on the phone when I called about the food hung up on me after I agreed to have the food replaced. I will be going tomorrow to speak with someone regarding the service and the disrespectful treatment I received when I called to complain about the food. Also the mac and cheese was dry as a bone. The manager tried to tell me it was the containers, but there is no way a piece of fish could shrink to the size of my finger. Also undercooked it looked like they just rolled it in breading and sent it out. I do have to say the pizza was good. Sorry I forgot to add that the cream of chicken soup was like water and tasteless.

Well first off lemme explain about...."Don't Order From This Place"!! I ordered the pork chops and mashed potatoes and it came with the hour they projected,But no. 1. It was $28 bucks and change,so I Expect a certain professionalism to their business. But both chops were pink inside and BOTH were BAD!! So pretty much I paid $28 bucks and change for a salad, mashed and a few veggies!! Oh and don't lemme forget or maybe they Forgot to mention the city(WTH) doesn't allow plastic silverware to be passed out without requesting them!!!

Absolutely love this location. Always excellent service and the food is consistently delicious. Enjoyed Spinach Artichoke dip which has a great kick of heat. The Chicken Piccata is sensational. It comes with Angel Hair and mixed veggies, but they are so good about customization to the customer. Broasted Chicken was cooked to perfection. They do a great French Martini and a dirty Martini with blue cheese olives. The atmosphere is very lively but not too loud to hold a conversation. Never know who you will run into. Major blast from the past last night. Always a great time.

This is a wonderful family restaurant and the bar is plenty nice too. I highly recommend the deep dish pizza. It’s amazing. The wings are delicious and the salads are huge. On the bar side, drinks are cold and the TVs are large. Great spot.

We use Barracos catering for our fraternal events. The food is always hot and always good. We do the chicken, beef and mostaccioli and all of it is really good. We always have extra food and its hot! Delivery is excellent. They run short on plates so bring extra otherwise everything is great. Also bring your own serving spoons and thongs. Theirs don't work so good.

I ordered from here through Uber Eats and I sort of regret wasting my money on this food. I ordered a fried calamari, tortellini alfredo, and a cannoli. The calamari smelled super fishy even before I opened the container. The calamari was burnt in places and super soggy, where the breading fell off the pieces. The Alfredo sauce just taste like pure cream, like heavy whipping cream or half and half. The pasta part was ok. Haven’t gotten to the cannoli but I opened it to find it upside down with the filling sticking to both sides of the container. I don’t think I will order from here again. I’ve ordered from this location and another one near Pulaski and 95th but the food quality just hasn’t been that good.

Very disappointing. The Sicilian is nothing like it used to be. I was expecting a THICK Sicilian pizza with sauce on top but received a basic pizza cut into square pieces. Guess I won't be taking that trip down memory lane.

My family ordered pizza from Barraco’s in Mount Greenwood this evening. It was fantastic!! We have searched the entire area looking for good pizza. We finally located it at Barraco’s. I will definitely spread the word about Barraco’s to my family and friends.

Our server was very attentive. We came straight from the hospital for lunch after my dad passed and probably overstayed our welcome talking, but she stayed so polite. The food is always great. So glad to have a MTG location

Nice decor. Tasty, plentiful dishes. Friendly, efficient wait staff. I had the fettuccini with white clam sauce. Choice of house salad or soup. Lots of big chunks of clam in a tasty creamy sauce. Surrounded by perfect garlic toast.

My friends threw together a pizza that I thought would be kinda weird... Jalapeno peppers here, pineapple there, beef (not sausage) all over the place, some onions & pepperoni for color.... Anyway, the pizza gods at Barraco's turned it into a masterpiece! And, don't get me started on those chocolate martinis!! Bravo!

The pizza style options are plentiful and all that I've had so far are awesome. The rest of the food options are just ok. The pizza is definitely recommended.

Best Italian food around. Consistent. Great atmosphere. Polite servers. Amazing selection of beer and wine. Extra bonus points for being open late. Ask for bread if they don’t bring it. They’ll bring the oil and parm.

Probably my favorite pizza place by far. The pasta is the best. Portions are plenty, more than I can eat. Service is good bar is full of beverages. We need a few of these closer to the west suburbs. Great family establishment, clean. Recommended.

Cool place and decent pizza. Bar side is very small for parties. Barracos pizza is at the higher end for Chicago pizza. Don't fall for the big name pizza places.

  • 1/5 Leutitia J. 1 year ago on Google
I ordered the calamari. It was super salty. The people at the restaurant was very unconcerned about my issue. Not to mention I asked for it to be fried crispy. It was soft, so soft that the batter fell off.
