They serve you warm syrup! Which I love and haven’t seen in awhile. Food came out quickly and hit the spot got the Spanish skillet and 2x2x2. The portions were huge, could have actually shared with one other person. Toni was the waitress and was friendly.

The best chicken and waffles in Illinois! I’m a huge fan of chicken and waffles. My husband loves skillets. I’m so happy he found this hidden southern gem. I’ve been raving about this place to all my fiends and family. Our waitress Toni was genuinely nice and made sure we enjoyed our breakfast. We highly recommend this place to anyone who loves skillets, chicken and waffles. You will not be disappointed. Thank me later!!

I was recommended this place by my dear aunt. I came in with good expectations. I came out disappointed. The Mac & cheese I ordered my son was cheap. All of the food was not fresh and cold. They charged for toast and we did not receive it. The staff was not welcoming or friendly. They seemed like they were hesitant to take our order. the flavor of the food was okay. Overall I will never come here again or recommend this place to anyone.

Absolutely TERRIBLE service. An hour for drinks!?!? I understand theyre busy, but What the actual heck!!! Our waitress continues to go MIA and then continued to forget to bring us, straws,enough menus, and so much more. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone who wants good service.

Service was really great here. I did enjoy the skillet, but looking at my partners omelet I felt so bad because it did not look appetizing. He said it was extremely dry and over cooked and didn't have much flavor. The portion sizes could definitely feed 2 people for one meal. The pancakes were disappointing, they were dry and dense.

This establishment has been around a very long time. I have been coming here for decades and I have never been disappointed. Right now I have two favorite breakfasts: cobbler crepes and grits galore. They are both delicious. It really boils down to if I want a sweet or savory breakfast. Every time I eat here, the food is very good, the service is fantastic and attentive, and the place is clean. I could not ask for more!

The food was pretty good. They may need two chop up their vegetables a little bit more in there omelettes because they were big old chunks but other than that it was enjoyable. And also I think the grits were very lumpy and a little watery

Our waitress was good but since we had a Groupon coupon we had two different tables the waitress MO came and started making a scene stating we were dirtying 2 tables.and this will be the last time we can use Groupon coupons. We eat there frequently for breakfast and she was unprofessional. I will not go back there again

The cream of chicken is so delicious! They offer mimosas and Bailey's Irish cream for your coffee. I had the moo-cluck-oink. My husband had the eggy. It looked like a whole breaded chicken breast. Those sandwiches were huge. The hash browns were toasty. Worth every penny. Fast service and pleasant servers. Will come back.

I ordered from this restaurant via Uber eats and honestly hands down one of the best services I have received. I refuse to order breakfast from anywhere else. They are extremely quick and their food taste yummy.

Very disappointment in my sandwich. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with the eggs n bacon and cheese. Sandwich has gone down hill. When I first ordered them it was scrambled eggs with chopped bacon inside with American cheese on the eggs to where it was gooey and the bread was toasted. Now I order the same way and get small eggs scrambled with bacon cracked in half on top with cold cheese still solid on the bread and the bread burned to where it's black. Very displeased with the outcome since I ordered it to fit my expectations. I'm writing a review because my wife ordered the same last time we dined in and she even complained that it didn't taste or look like the ones I had previously brought home. Two separate times of disappointment. Doubt I'm going back to try for a third time. Do better for the others coming back.

We have been eating breakfast there for years when we are in the area. Good family memories, food and never left hungry.

The waitress was excellent considering they are very low on employees. She told us it would be a little bit of a wait because they were still making breakfast… no wait at all. It came within 10 mins. I had the half sandwich with Chicken Rice Soup which is delicious and an order of fries. It was 9.95. My friend had Turkey with stuffing, mashed, and mixed veggies. I personally didn’t like the gravy that was all over the plate. Should have been on the side. Unfortunately no photo. I’ve been there before and I will give the waitress 5 stars. The soup is also a 5 star for me. Everything else was just average. It’s always busy, they only do breakfast and lunch. I will go back for the soup for sure .
