Before I used to only go to sesame inn in evergreen Park, and the food was always excellent never a problem. I don't usually complain especially a place that I regularly frequent.. but I think enough's enough. I'm done eating at sushi time. Two times ago I ordered my usual and literally there was a piece of hard plastic in my food. The wife said it's probably just from a container somehow got put in there on accident I overlooked it.. but the last three or four times I've eaten here it's as almost like they have an American chef cooking their food or something crazy. The food definitely just doesn't taste as good. And on this occasion I ordered extra green onion and they literally did not cut the green onion just threw it in there like it was a really big hassle for them to cut it. I also ordered chicken fried rice and literally had nothing in it it was white rice with pieces of chicken and a couple carrots. Absolutely no flavor and no seasoning..... And no color. 🤨 Definitely the last straw for me!

Not good! I ordered chicken fried rice spicy. It was horrible. No seasoning flavor noted. Not even sesame flavor. It tasted like white rice with vegetables. The orange chicken had a lot of fat on the chicken inside the breading. Only thing I’d eat here is the sushi. Sushi was decent.

On their menu, it is stated “Spicy King Crab” for a few rolls I ordered. It is clearly imitation crab. For the price they are charging, it should be real crab meat. Spoke to Alex about it, according to him it states on the menu imitation when it does NOT. Complete scam of a restaurant. Ive been to real sushi restaurants and know quality sushi. This place was not it. I don’t understand how they have good reviews. Clearly people don’t know what real sushi taste like. Everything was bland.

Unbelievable behavior from the manager! We ordered (fresh salmon avocado ) They brought us rice with seaweed😂 We got shocked by what we saw I have never seen a missed up roll like this before, we called the manager to see, she told us this is how we serve it if you dont like it Dont order it again😂 she was extremely rude and disrespectful towards us She didnt want to cancel it Unbelievable!! Please dont come to this restaurant it’s horrible and a waste of money/time

My friend took me here to try sushi for the first time. The sushi was incredible! Ever since then I’ve been a returning customer. My favorite roll is the Godzilla Roll!

Cute place, friendly services, and clean. Cheap prices, without it tasting cheap! Great atmosphere to take your date or to meet up with friends.

1st time ordering here. We are sushi lovers & are always looking for a good spot. We ordered an orange chicken, crab angles, gold n nugget which is deep fried, the Godzilla & the Rock n roll. My wife’s favorites were 1st 🥇 Godzilla, 2nd 🥈 Orange chicken & 3rd 🥉 the Gold N Nugget. She is always a fan of the Godzilla roll no matter where she orders it from. She liked the spice that is added to the orange chicken & the crunch of the Golden N Nugget was great. I on the other hand had a bit of a different taste. 1st 🥇 Gold N Nugget 2nd 🥈 Rock n Roll 3rd 🥉 Carb angles. I like the hint of smoke in the golden nugget and I dipped it in some home made sweet & sour sauce (which is .70 cents each) for a nice like bite! The rock & roll was good and even better when I slapped on some mayo ($1 each) & I wish we ate our crab angles as soon as they were made because by the time we got home they were a little soggy inside the bag but still had a nice crunch with each bite. Overall this is really good fresh sushi, nothing to complain about as everything was good & we would order from here again!

1st time ordering from here and it was very good. My son had the spicy tuna and salmon avocado roll and said it was great. We also had ginger salad and spicy broccoli. It was all delicious. They have a great menu as well. Definitely will be ordering from here again.

Very affordable sushi and appetizers. And the drinks are generous. The Red snapper Nigiri was the best on my sampler boat.

Amazing and fresh Chinese, Thai and Japanese cuisine right in the heart of Oak Lawn! They did a total gut remodel in 2020 and have an expanded dining area, top shelf bar and even a private Karaoke Room. You will love the food, ambiance and friendly staff. You really can’t go wrong here!

Great service, especially during a busy Sunday rush. Appetizers & mains were fantastic and fresh! Clean spot with clean bathrooms.

Sushi here is always great. I always bring the kids and we enjoy the boat of sushi. Sushi is fresh and always tastes great! The service is consistent and always top notch. Atmosphere is nothing spectacular but it’s cozy and enjoyable. We often get other items too and we get the same quality food. Wish they were open Mondays but that’s not going to make them lose a star. I would say this location is my go to for sushi if you don’t want to end up at a Hibachi place.

Was tasty, but it was kind of pricey compared to other sushi restaurants, offering similar interests. We also had a bit of an issue with our soup, but we had it resolved.

We have been ordering take out/delivery from sushi thaime for years! We have always received delicious food and perfectly to the order. The sushi here is wonderful, and they have a pretty solid menu for other type of entrees you would find at a standard Asian cuisine spot. Every time we order, I am impressed by the taste and quality. We have yet to dine in but hopefully one day soon! Sushi Thaime is a fantastic spot to the neighborhood - and greatly needed for good Asian cuisine and sushi!

Had to say that this place is one of my favorite places to eat sushi. Took family members there and they absolutely loved it. Staff is friendly and environment is very welcoming.

God this place rocks. The food was good (i strongly recommend their beef crazy noodles), the service and staff was above and beyond. The owner Betty is friendly and welcoming as well as the rest of the staff. The atmosphere was pretty lively towards closing. There's karaoke... You can't go wrong with that. I had my first Vegas Bomb there.

Celebrated my son's 8th grade graduation here. Had a great time, the food was really good. Our server was great, he checked in on us often to make sure we were good. Explained the menu well. All in all had a great time.

This place had a very relaxing vibe and friendly atmosphere. The miso soup was very delicious 😋 and the service was quick.

I like this place. A good local sushi restaurant. I was just passing by and was in the mood for some Udon and Sushi. Got a little busy by the end of my dine in so the servers got a bit busy with everyone. I guess expect a little busyness here on a Friday evening.

It wasn't bad at all. The price was more than reasonable, and the sushi was very well made.

I just want to say I’ve been here many times and I just love this place! Food is always fresh and Hot especially when delivered! Have been there four times and mostly go for the sushi. The snow crab roll has been by far my favorite due to the crunchy yet soft texture of it.

The atmosphere is casual, but feels a little bit upscale, but cozy. The service was amazing!! The sushi was on point. We had the spicy tuna rolls, yellow tail scallion rolls, Japanese pickle rolls, and I forgot the name on the menu, but it was I think eel with shrimp and a spicy mayo with fish eggs. The last two were new for us, but they were delicious!! We had the bubble tea, which was essentially Thai iced tea, so good! We just had the sushi as a light lunch, but can't wait to come back and try more sushi and cooked entrees as well. They say first impressions are everything, and this place definitely did not disappoint!!!

Decent food. But very rude girl at the front. She doesn’t know how to speak to people without coming across as condescending. Also, they don’t follow their schedule online. I came w my son well before 8pm. They close at 9pm, but they decided to close early tonight just because. Oh well!
