Attended a 10am birthday party and the place was super clean and the food looked fresh in the salad bar. The toddler area is no perfect for the wee ones. All the games were operational. The sound was a little loud near the stage area, but they gladly lowered it to a comfortable level. If you are planning an event there, I'd recommend the early 10am slot to avoid the crowds.

Inconsistent customer service. Cashier with a poor attitude refused to sell my 18 month old a balloon on our way out when we had no issues purchasing one 2 weeks earlier from much friendlier employees. It's a shame to lose our business over a $3 balloon.

First I want to say that the man Stuart who dresses as chuck e saved our child's entire experience. He is amazing. The woman with a purple shirt who was working told me chuck e only comes out for parties and then said but your not allowed to go near that area for the birthday show. I asked if he would walk around and she said she didn't know. So then she tells me it will be an hour an a half. You see my son has autism, loves chuck e cheese and to be spoken down to is absolutely unacceptable. If your workers don't like kids please don't hire them. It again was an awful experience and luckily my son got to see Stuart in costume 2 times.

Had a lot of good experiences here as a kid with my 8th birthday party among other visits. I really loved the helicopter bike game and the roller coaster simulation game. That was back in 2011 and other years around that age. I came here again around November last year and May of this year. Many of the games weren’t there anymore and the skytubes were gone. I also noticed the 3 stage animatronics that were originally used for the ShowBiz Pizza Place animatronics were nowhere to be found on stage and instead was replaced with a single Chuck E animatronic on center stage with curtains covering the stages that once held Pasqually and Chuck E. It was still nice to see that the old stage itself was there. After all, it is a 42 year old stage from a store with a rich history. This store used to be a ShowBiz Pizza Place with the iconic Rockafire Explosion animatronics in which that stage once held. Unfortunately, in recent days, they’ve undergone a remodel and have since gutted this historic stage and have added an interactive dance floor and are in the process of installing a video wall in place of the stage. As much as it might look nicer and will add more new games, it just sucks that it’s at the expense of 1980’s history and vintage robotic technology. However, I will always have memories, videos, and pictures of the place when I was a kid and can say, I enjoyed it back then. So, I will give my thanks to the people that made my experience there as a kid great. I just wish CEC Entertainment cared more about their history and would view their animatronics as more than just depreciating assets. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.

I haven't been to a Chuck E Cheese since I was a child. My 3yr olds been asking since seeing ads on YouTube videos. Can't speak for others but this (Cass Ave) location was super convenient and really clean/maintained nicely. I'd say it's great more for younger school age children due to mostly ride ons and small section of ticket games. It was perfect for us since I had two young ones. They loved the ride ons!! The pizza was surprisingly tasty! Crispy crust and good flavor to the sauce. We just got combo one - Lg pizza and 4 drinks. You get your paper plates and cups in a little bag and your pizza gets delivered to the table. Free refills. With purchase of a combo you get 10% off time or point purchases for rides/games. Also random but i loved that they have the old school fountain drink spouts vs the single touch screen soda because I swear all the drinks taste better and not like a mishmash of all soda. Many hand sanitizer dispensers throughout and an amazing idea- they stamp all in your party with a blacklight number so that no one could possibly leave with your child! They checked us on the way out to make sure! Only reason for 4⭐ is that when I complained about the milk jug game not giving my tots all the balls promised on screen, a man (management of some type?) gave me some explanation about how if you reach too far in the game will stop play immediately - ummm they are 3 and 1.5... of course they may throw wonky or release their throw past the line. He was by no means rude but it felt a bit inconsiderate. If it's annoying or happens often just put up a mesh netting across the throw line. Also it was a SINGLE point he was returning to the card so felt even more trivial

Was there for a birthday party today and LOVED it! The staff was kind and accommodating. Pizza was good too. It was clean, well lit, and safe. It's an open environment so it's easy to spot your kids from a distance as they run around from game to game.

We’ve celebrated birthdays the last two years at CEC Darian and I’ve appreciated the attentiveness of the team working there and the quality of the salad bar offered. Lots of fun for the three generations attending.

We had our son's 6th birthday here and he had so much fun. They recently renovated the Darien location so it was clean. The location is convenient with plenty of parking. I recommend it for a little kids party.

I haven't been to CEC in a few years. The visual updates to this one are nice. The games could last a little longer and function better. Four of the games played didn't function properly, if at all. I went in with an attempt to use a promotion. I purchased the card/playing time at the kiosk and the promotion didn't go through. I spoke with a staff member and was told it was only redeemable at the counter.

Awesome place for the kids. The recently did a remodel and now looks nice and modern. Pizza is great and pricing is decent. Get the time pass not the price per game. Time pass is much more worth it. 90 min is perfect.

UPDATE: I know we live in an ever changing world, but we just tried to get pizza here. I know they have games too, but we were hoping to both get a pizza and play. Unfortunately, we were told the kitchen was closed. For reference, this is 6.45pm on a weekday where they are open until 8pm. If your kitchen closes over an hour before the establishment is closed, this really should be posted somewhere. My starving child now has to go elsewhere and we'll come play games another day. Or try another CEC. Just disappointed today. *** We always have so much fun here. Pizza is tasty and we love dessert. Staff is friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

The worker we had for our birthday experience was excellent. My only nitpick would be don't sit tables next to each other when space is available.

It's definitely not the same ! They shut down the mechanical Characters cause they say they can't find parts! It's all about tje money now to me but whatever! Kids still like it ! Would rather go to PGN FUN VILLAGE !

We had fun playing the games and most were working. Always needed to wait for somebody to take an order or to cash in tickets. Placed a food order and it was lost. We ended up getting a refund. Kids were hungry and cranky.

The fact there are no tickets dispensed makes 0 sense. How do the children feel as though they have accomplished anything? Back in the day for $50 worth of pizza you'd at least get some tokens! Not anymore! This is very disappointing to me as I am now at the Grandparent stage! I'll find another place to take my Grands!

Took my son to play some video games and just to spend some time together (bonding) I dont know abt him but iam going back for sure! :) Kidding he loved it also so we will be going back for sure. My only concern is why he is affraid of the animatrinics we use to love them when i was a kid. (Weird) Staff is very nice also. Thank you guys.

All new staff and store manager. This is usually my go to location. My family and I received the worst customer service today. The new store manager is too old to work in a kids environment, as well as racist. He needs to be fired IMMEDIATELY after the service we received today. I will be calling corporate to inform them of our experience today.

Fantastic place to take your kids after a long day of work. Let them carefully run around and be happy and play their games that they have there. Great atmosphere, this night was safe, good customers, respectful customers, excellent staff. everything turned out great. Overall highly recommend this Chuck E Cheeses.

Chucke E Cheese Darien is Absolutely the Best. We Just did my Lil One's BDay Party today and it was a blast. Our Host, his name is Max is absolutely amazing. If you want your kids to have a great time, make sure you request Max as your host. The facility is clean, organized and they make sure everyone is having a great time. Thank you Chucke E Cheese Darien for making one of the best party for my child. My child and our guests really had the best time ever. Thank You.
