It's Illinois, so you get trees, more trees, water but no stunning vistas. However, it's lovely that these preserved are within the third largest city. The wildlife is thriving and human contamination minimal.

Warren-vile groove forest preserve is a nice piece of nature that has a big river In it . Part of it used to be a dam and mill for early settlers but has been restored to its original natural shape. You will hear woodpeckers and other birds singing mixing with the music of river. A good place for hiking , biking or walking .

A really nice place to walk, bike, run, or hike. It's right by the river and it's very peaceful.

Perfect little slice of heaven in Warrenville. I've lived here for 7 years and can't believe I've been missing out. The kids loved wading in the shallow water and jumping on the rocks. We saw many people on canoes which was cool too. Bring a picnic and just listen to the water.

Beautiful park! This is park that you can launch your boats at or come get some sun. Theres wonderful walking paths along side the gorgeous dupage river to boot. The park is extremly clean and well maintained. They have some benches to sit in as well. I highly recommend this park to go lauch your kayaks and canoes; or to go sit on a bench an listen to the peaceful sounds of nature . This place is fantastic!

It's nice to pop in and sit under the tree on the lawn or down by the river for a few minutes. Ultra premium little grove

This is a Lovely place to visit. There is a trail to walk around on. And lots of picnic benches to sit on. . Flowers. Everywhere, Lots of Birds and animals to watch. Great photo ops and areas for them. Also there is a Bike and walking trail that goes to Naperville. Bring some Off spray as there is mosquito's and if you walk thru grass trails for and other bugs you dont want to bring home. Very nice and Peaceful. Also if anyone Pokemon Go"s it has a Gym and two stops.

Picturesque landing to river and bridges. Entrance via Batavia road,Warrenville is small with Limited space for parking about 8 spaces. Access for canoe and kayak ia available. Bring your own. This is part of "Blackwell forest preserve" . Few endangered species are nesting. Water snake is one of them. Trails are good with ups and down which is a nice change from regular boring flat trails. Mostly covered with trees. Beautiful white -purple flower along the trails. Again picturesque.

Great little park next to the west branch of the DuPage River. Really cool arch bridge over the river and a great place to stop especially if you are biking on the West branch DuPage River Trail.

Nice trails for walking and biking. Had a small parking area on batavia rd, limited parking spaces.

It is a nice place but rather short. I walked in a loop to extend the time, but it was still less than 2.5 miles.

Has a great hill to play king/queen of the hill on. Try riding your road bike up it as fast as you can. You can see the Chipotle from the top.

A beautiful trail winding through gently sloped, pristine woodland with a historical dam and mill site at the edge of a river. The trail is short but connects to the Prairie Path close to Blackwell Forest Preserve and St. James Farm, with the possibility of a longer hike or bike ride. Parking is located on Batavia Rd.

Lived in Warrenville for 30+ years and never been there. Looking for fall pictures and this was beautiful with bridge and water. Nice hidden gem. Will have to check the trail out when I have time. Would have taken more pictures but HC pics were being done.
