A wonderful prairie. The main parking lot appears to be at the model aircraft area on the map. The paths are wonderful for walking, running, or biking. This is definitely a spot to come check out

A perfect place for walking, hiking, running, or biking. There is a model aircraft field on the south trail. The area is flat and has lots of beautiful wildlife.

This is such a nice beautiful short hike. This trail contains many beautiful flowers and you can see a lake over the trail. I really recommend coming to this trail if you need a quick one.

Springbrook is the perfect place to run or bike or, hey, just go for a walk. It's all crushed limestone and very open and safe. The main loop is about 5.4 miles around crossing Book Road twice (once north, once south). There are two primary parking lots: 83rd Street and Plainfield-Naperville Road (which has restrooms); also, there is a smaller parking lot off P-N Road and you can connect from Walmart's lot. There is a little elevation change and Bek Hill which has a nice view of the Preserve. For fun, you can also run under the P-N overpass and get another 3 mile loop, some of which is grass and dirt; that section has a little bridge which is very picturesque.

I absolutely love this place. Very scenic with trails where one can run, walk, bicycle. It is beautiful all throughout the year - with different beautiful looks during different seasons.

I would not recommend this trail at this time.. for people or dogs. We brought along two dogs for our walk and discovered shortly after leaving they were infested with ticks. My friend also found a tick on her, leaving the park. I also wanted to mention, we did not allow our dogs to run through the the brush and still found 10 ticks on each dog. We were very disappointed by this since we really enjoyed the trail but even more disappointed since this is also a dog park.

Absolutely gorgeous. So many flowers blooming right now! We saw a beaver house and blue heron, goldfinch, red-winged blackbirds and even a few monarchs. My DH, who is a prairie specialist, loved it and talked about how well they do keeping it prairie and invasive species out. There’s not much shade, so go early or on a cloudy day.

Great place to walk on a cloudy day. Not much shade and trees, so it is hard to be there when it's hot and sunny.

My friends and I run out here a lot. 5.75 miles is a regular loop, and you can expand that to 8.25 if you hit the airplane hill and the outer spurs. If you add the viaduct spur you can get over 10 miles in. Make sure to bring water, no shade.

A beautiful prairie with rare and endangered bird species. A great place to get in a good walk with crush limestone paths. Easy five and a half mile loop with lots of parking.

Lovely place to walk at sunset or sunrise. Colors are spectacular and weather cooler during warmer months. It’s like a mini β€œcentral Naperville park” in the middle of busy streets you find solace.

Beautiful forest preserve spot in Naperville. Tons of wide open prairies full of cool plants, lots of interesting birds. Big loop trail over 5 miles. Right in the middle of everything, a beautiful oasis. Plenty of informational signs. Dog park on one side. Southern DuPage County Regional Trail runs through the park. Part of this forest preserve is a designated Illinois Nature Preserve due to habitat for rare birds.

Beautiful environment with well laid out path, frequent benches, and plenty of clear signage. It doesn't get very far away from the noise of the suburbs, but it's as good as we can realistically ask for

A great long trail, there are moderate hills in places, and the whole trail is gravel. There is a dog park and a small craft field for model airplanes. Very scenic and beautiful

Discovered close by forest preserve and did sunflower trail in cloudy drizzling condition, good area in vicinity of Naperville town. Come with bike and kids and have fun if trails are what you are looking for. Some wild life (birds) can be seen if u are into it and can identify.

Springbrook Prairie park is a wonderful place to enjoy nature and have fun with family and friends. The park is home to a diverse and rare bird community, as well as beautiful prairies and meadows. You can explore the trails on foot, bike, or horseback, or visit the off-leash dog area, model-aircraft field, or picnic shelters. The park also has a stream that provides habitat for aquatic life and helps with flood control. Whether you are looking for a relaxing stroll, a challenging workout, or a fun activity, Springbrook Prairie park has something for everyone. I highly recommend this park to anyone who loves nature and outdoor recreation. It is one of the best preserves in DuPage County and a gem of Naperville. The park is very well-maintained and has clean restrooms, drinking water, and hot-coal disposal containers. The staff and volunteers are friendly and helpful, and they offer guided tours and educational programs throughout the year. You can learn about the history and ecology of the park, and how to protect and restore it for future generations. The park is a birder's paradise, with over 200 species of birds recorded, including some state-endangered ones. You can see and hear them in the grasslands, wetlands, and woodlands, and enjoy their colorful plumage and melodious songs. The park also has a variety of butterflies, dragonflies, and other insects that add to the beauty and diversity of the ecosystem. The park is a great place to exercise and stay healthy, with over 7 miles of trails that are open to hikers, bicyclists, horseback riders, and cross-country skiers. The trails are well-marked and offer different levels of difficulty and scenery. You can also bring your dog to the off-leash area, where they can run and play with other dogs in a fenced and safe environment. Springbrook Prairie park is a place where you can connect with nature and yourself, and have a memorable and enjoyable time. It is a park that deserves your visit and appreciation.

Great walk on a half gravel/half payment path. Also, it is a wonderful place to take your animals out for a beautiful walk in nature. Oh, and a great place to sit and eat and enjoy the scenery β™‘

Springbrook Prairie has a fantastic 5.5 mile loop trail that is wonderful for bike riding. There are a few modest hills. There's another out and back spur trail that you can take to add another 2.4 miles to the bike ride. I've seen plenty of people out walking and running the loop trail as well. The trail is crushed gravel and there are benches throughout. However, be advised that since this is a prairie, shade is hard to come by.

Nice trails, both fully manicured and less so. It is very exposed prairie without a lot of shade so not recommended for midday on a hot summer day

Local treasure- great hiking, biking, dog park, model aircraft field. Only recommendation might be more signage for larger features and notable plant life. Perhaps offer guided walks for a small fee monthly?

This off leash dog park is fantastic and very enjoyable. The only issue is after rain there is a few spots of standing water on the outside ring at the 4 o'clock and 10 o'clock positions. The park district has done alot of work and almost all but perfected the standing water issues and they used to be alot worse. I just stick with the inner most circle pathways and the dog stays dry.
