Went for their 2023 Holiday lights walkthrough, our first time at the park. Went on Christmas Eve, we really enjoyed the lights, seemed like a great park too, we will be back to this park in 2024, check it out!

I tried to get to this park for several years right as the bloom meter said the lilacs were in full bloom and this year I made it. I signed up on the website to keep me informed of when they were going to be in bloom and I made it! The day was beautiful. My mother, my daughter and I spent time wandering around through all the paths, looking at all the beautiful flowers, taking very beautiful pictures and making lots of great memories. There were lots of families taking professional photos, couples spending time together and people just getting out and enjoying the park as we were which made the atmosphere of the park very inviting and peaceful. The smell of the lilacs and flowers were a great start to Spring. The park would be a beautiful place for a wedding, a small get-together, sitting and reading a book with a cup of tea or just getting some exercise. Overall, we loved the park and will return again hopefully next year.

It’s absolutely beautiful. It’s family oriented and just perfect for any day walk around the garden for a bit of relaxation and peace of mind. A must see if you are in the neighborhood. Great place for photography with family and friends. I saw a lot of people enjoying taking pictures under the enchanted trees and breathtaking gardens. I bet it’s your turn to come here. I know you will love it because I truly enjoyed every minute of my hours spent at the Lilacia park.

I’ve discovered you can have too many lights! This is a great place to go, especially if you have kids, to see lots and lots of Christmas lights. The problem is there’s little to physically separate areas, so in many places you see so many lights it’s hard to see what’s right in front of you. Buts it’s free, there’s tons of parking, and I think it’s better than driving around looking at lights on houses.

Lots of nice shade with big trees and lovely flowering plants. Good brick paved pathways to walk on with gardens. As the name suggests there are Lilacia plants spread out all over. wooden benches and picnic tables spread out all over.

I only got a chance to see the park during late winter hours when christmas lights lit up. It was very stunning and beautiful. I can't imagine how colorful it is going to be during summer days. Right across the street from the Lombard Metra station. Unfortunately, you can't bring your dog to the park.

If you LOVE Christmas decorations, come to this park!!! It's free, huge and great decorations. Fri, Sat and Sunday Santa and Mrs. Claus are here. They sell hot chocolate and cookies on these days as well. So worth it if you have little ones or you just like Christmas lights.

Lovely park filled with various species of lilacs, daffodils, and tulips. A "must visit“ in early May. Can get a bit busy on the weekends, but still enjoyable.

Holiday lights are wonderful! This park is great all year round, but best during the winter. It is free and easy to walk around. During busy times they do have food/hot coco. Also, it is right across from the train station so you can get there easily by rail.

Lovely local park. Daffodils blossom in April, Tulips in May, then Lilacs. When lilacs are in full bloom there are a few weeks of pay to enter. Lombard residents are always free.

The Christmas lights were amazing once again. I love how this town still has that old small town feel to it. The family had such a great time. Great job to all the hard work they did putting this together.

A nice park to stroll through during all seasons! During summer, theres lots of beautiful flowers and greenery. We also went here a few days ago to look at the free winter lights, and it was so pretty! Definitely recommend it if you're in the area! Just make sure you dress warm, especially gloves, because it gets chilly at night, and you won't enjoy it as much if you're freezing!

Must see Christmas Lights spectacular. Seriously well done every year. Worth a trip if you’re within 30 minutes or so. Each year they expand! The waterfall this year is new and very cool. Do it if you get the chance!

A small but beautiful and well-cared-for park of gardens, paths, a pond and fountain, and many scenic areas for photos amid the flowers.

The lilac festival was delightful, with fabulous subtleties among the scents, and colors, of purple through to white lilacs. The ~25,000 tulips along with many other flowers made for an amazing mid-spring weekend.

Obviously very seasonal, however there were several photographers and families taking in the sights and smells of all the beautiful flowers on our visit. Try to visit around the time tulips are blooming. Absolutely gorgeous!

Not the parks fault, but dogs are NOT allowed! Unfortunately I figured this out halfway through the lights. 😬 My bad, but I was temporarily an outlaw. Leave the pup at home & enjoy the lights! Plenty of free public parking in the lot on Park.

Wow! The holiday light display is huge and it was amazing. They have hot chocolate and cookies available for free. Santa was there in his sleigh ready to chit chat and take photos. My family and I absolutely enjoyed our time. Thank you! We are excited to visit in the blooming spring!

Went for the Lilac fest...it was beautiful! Lots of lilacs, greenery, benches and tables. I brought food and ate outside while enjoying the atmosphere. DEFINITELY will be back! Also they had public bathrooms...but caution...I was there around 2ish and almost out of toilet paper. Suggestion... if you plan to stay a long time, keep a roll in your car.

Love going to Lilacia Park during Lilac time. Unfortunately missed most of the blooms this year by a week. But always a wonderful visit.

We had our wedding ceremony here almost 20 years ago, so I may be biased. This park feels like a private garden with an aura of historical significance. I really like knowing the design of the park and its many botanical varieties date back to Reconstruction era Americana. Other than the signature lilacs, my other highlight would be the water feature and grove area.. perfect for an afternoon picnic. Must visit during Lilac blooming season late April through early May. Also fun to take the family during the holiday season to see the gaudy Christmas light displays.

Gorgeous gardens. During the winter they have an awesome Christmas lights display. During the summer the flowers and greenery are beautiful

This is a lovely small park. In the spring you have daffodils, tulips, and then lilacs of every color. No dogs allowed, unfortunately.

Beautiful park! Flower beds and grass areas are always kept up very nicely. A great place to host small wedding or picnic. I brought some friends here for a picnic and it was perfect. Plenty of trees for shade on hot days, as well as open picnic bunches. Would highly suggest walk, photo shoot, or picnic.
