Such a beautiful temple. I was a little intimidated at first to go in and was initially only going to take some pictures of the temple from the outside when we finally asked if it was ok to go in. I am not Hindu and do not know much about the rules, I didn't know if I needed a head covering, if we were allowed to just view or if actual service was happening, but once inside we were politely and pleasantly welcomed. We respectfully walked the temples and walked the grounds. I would definitely go back and would love a guided tour to learn more. It was so serene, and so peaceful. We are very intrigued to go back and learn more!

Wonderful Hindu Temple with many deities. Excellent people who take time to talk to you. Good book place to pick up great books to read on your own or to read to your children. Blissful location and great opportunity to do some meditation inside or outside on the temple premises.

This is by far one of the best temples🛕 I've been to. Perhaps because im from canada and we dont have these kinds of temple architecture here. Inside was very clean, beautiful, and has a calming aurora around it. The architecture is AMAZING. The food was great, and the place of worship is just the place to be. The aarti was powerful in energy. I had a great time here. Definitely will visit again. Har Har Mahadev Jai Siya Ram 🙏

Temple and its location is very beautiful. Inside it's very clean and nice. Stairs to the Rama temple can be improved since it's narrow to handle many people going up and down. Temple kitchen has delicious food. Overall a divine and beautiful place.

No words to describe , divine , mesmerizing and huge Hindu temple campus with multiple structures , main temple building , beautiful landscapes and enormous parking space. The location is also isolated ,so no city disturbances… Each and every temple structure with landscape is breath taking …

This Hindu temple has been a mainstay for residents of the Chicago area. It's architecture, services and food are excellent, and it's very well maintained overall.

The architecture of this place is magnificent. A friend and I visited during one of their special ceremonies, there were lots of people gather outside, eating, praying, chatting and enjoying food. They were very friendly to my us and even shared some of their food. Very delicious! The temples inside are also very interesting to look at. I was truly fascinated by the architecture of it. Great place to visit! Important: if you are a tourist or visitor know that you have to wear pants or something that covers your legs. This applies to both men and women. However in case you forget, they have a few pieces of cloth that you can use to cover up. Also don’t forget to take your shoes off once inside.

Nestled in serene surroundings, this beautiful temple offers a peaceful escape. The entrance, adorned with flowers, leads you to a soothing fountain and the sweet scent of blooming flowers of all kinds. Once inside, you will need to remove your shoes, this is out of respect. You’ll find the deities in various alcoves. It’s very easy to find your way around with all the helpful indicators on the floor and walls. Don’t forget to try their “Prasadam” meals – delicious offerings from the Gods. A shop offers idols, books, and more at a low cost. They host yoga, meditation, and events; check their website for details. The friendly atmosphere keeps drawing me back.

One of the pujari is behaving as if they never saw any kids. They should appreciate that kids are getting involved in the activities and should be patient in passing on the culture to kids. When us say the group to stay away because they have kids in the group, you are not serving the purpose of having the temple and this rituals in the first place- to pass the culture to our future generations

Amazing iconic temple . Recall going there in the 90 s and appears bigger , more beautiful and a place of worship with all sanctum sanctorium dedicated to Lord Krishna , radha rani and all demigods . The snacks , prasadam sold was delicious. Amazing aroma from temple kitchen but since it was a weekday no service then . Construction was going on in annexxe building but overall amazzingggg !!! Staff lady in temple office was very kind and sweet .

The US is the greatest country in the world that one can practices it’s own religion. This temple has 3 buildings and one canopy with a big statue under it. Free parking are available and photography inside the main temple is forbidden

Before visiting the temple I was in an impression of traditional temple as in India. Little bit away from city but believe me worth visiting such a nice divine place. Thank you the management team of temple. Jai Shree Prabhu 🙏🙏

I was blessed to visit this gorgeous temple today. The architecture, the idols and the food were all great. The ambience is so serene. In summers, you can certainly enjoy the outdoor seating. I certainly recommend this place if you are in the neighborhood and are seeking for some calmness.

Decent place for worship as well as fresh food. Note: can get crowded on festivals & special occasions. But money spent here is much better than going to many Indian restaurants + the advantage of community engagement/ worship

Beautiful location, even it was weekend, not many people so could do darshan easily and nicely. Facility was clean and staff was friendly. Loved the South Indian in-house cafe, great taste and a quality.

The architecture and the Divinity of this place is out of the world!! There are beautiful Idols of all the Indian God and Goddess. The cafeteria here is open on weekends and serves delicious South Indian idli vada, dosa and tamarind rice.

Very famous Bhagwan Ram Temple. A dedicated compound for Prabhu Ram parivaar, with Anjaneya, Hanuman ji, Balaji and Radha Krishna Temples and separate and new compound for Ma Durga, Shiva, Parvati, Ganpati and other Gods. A must visit Temple for all. Their restaurant is superb.

This is one of the best temples in Greater Chicago land. The tranquility of the outdoor temple premises is what sets this temple apart from others in the area. There are benches near the main dhvajastambham on to of the hill provides good place for enjoying the nature under the shade of the tall trees. Definitely not an option in winter months. As soon as you enter the temple to the north (left or straight depending on which entrance you use) is Sri Ramalayam in the main hall with Sri Venkateshwaraswami and Sri Krishna alayams to the side. On the other side we have the GSD (Sri Ganesha, Shiva and Ma Durga) alayams with Sri Subramanya, Mata Parvati, Sri Ayyapa and the Navagrahas. The rest of the temple is pretty standard in terms of a counter for purchasing Pooja services, gift shop, food cafeteria, auditorium, rest rooms and space for leaving footwear and jackets.

The white temple looks like the Meenakshi temple in white in picturesque surroundings. We were very happy to revisit it with the grandkids. The elder one incidentally is named 'Arjun' and he heard the story of The Mahabharata with rapt attention. We rounded it up with a South Indian lunch at the temple cafetaria. Quite a sublime experience!

This is a beautiful temple. Its superclean and very well maintained. I have been coming to this temple for the last decade and its still the same 😇 There is a gift shop and you can purchase bangles, other pooja stuff and idols. You can also get various pooja archanas done from the priests here. They also have a very clean canteen where they serve South Indian delicacies, prepared by cooks specially from Udupi. The canteen is open only on weekends. The temple management takes into account all COVID -19 protocols. Please do visit the temple 🛕

This is my usual go-to temple. Is beautiful and a very peaceful place. The priests are not pushy and you can sit and reflect at your pace. The cafeteria downstairs is pretty convenient also. Its on a hill, which makes for fun views of the valley. The Ram mandir portion is my favorite. They also have a small library and a gift shop.
