I like the path options so you can walk as long/ far as you want and you can walk in a loop so you don't have to turn around to get back to the parking lot. Just the right amount of shade and sun for a comfortable walk on a warm day. Watch for the wildlife!

These photos were taken July 2022, almost a year ago. I haven’t been back recently, but definitely a serene place. Been here more than once. It has a beautiful path to walk, run, bicycle. The scenic view is meditative. I’ve only gone in the mornings before 10am. I’ve never seen what looks to be a restaurant open. It always looked abandoned to me. But it’s away from front view so it’s not distracting. It does not take away from the value of the experience. The restrooms aren’t bad for a public outdoor restroom. It did not smell every time I’ve been there so far. Enough parking space. Mornings seems not busy. The trail is at least a mile-2 miles. Worth the trip if you’re not from the area.

Easy parking, nice trails with fun facts about animals posted along the way, fun & simple little nature center with a little tree the kids could climb into. Even when trails were covered in snow and ice it was still easy enough to get through and navigate and the little ones had a great time. Bathroom was clean, warm, and easily accessible near the parking lot so that is a big plus! Overall great experience with my kids ages 1-6 yrs old, but all ages could definitely enjoy.

Love the walking paths here! We saw so much - multiple egrets, deer, lots of colorful birds, etc. There's a lot to see here and the paths are kept up very well. Will definitely come back in the future.

This place is such a great place for walks and kayaking ! We encountered multiple deer each time we have been here walking the trails . Bass fishing is kinda tough here but I managed to get 2! Water ranges from 1-10 feet .

Nice walking trail in the middle of the busy neighborhood ! It's a blessing to the locals and everyone. Easy and good approach roads. Walking through the nature - woods, small lake and even the deers ! One will not feel the heat during summer days. Multiple trails of various lengths. The trails are mostly flat and are suitable for everyone. The trail color coding post at various turns will never let anyone lose the track ! Picnic tables suitable for small and medium strength groups. The information boards all along the trail and the exploration center is keeping everyone educated.

Fullersburg Woods is an absolutely beautiful place to visit the outdoors. There is a well marked gravel path that snakes a loop around Salt Creek. There are a number of little trails to cut the loop shorter of you need to shorten it. There are also a couple of bridges across the Creek that led themselves to gorgeous views. This is a great spot for animal watching. At my visit, I saw a mink for the first time in my life! Also a great spot for a picnic. There are many tables and benches scattered throughout.

If you're into beautiful scenery, then this is the place for you. The autumn colors are gorgeous. I didn't see any animals because it was so cold, but I imagine in the summer that's something to look forward to.

Busy forest preserve with lovely paths along the river and an old mill. It was rather crowded when we were there but it is a lovely spot.

I went there 3 times and I liked it and it was very interesting and good trails to hike on and a waterfall to look at and with a museum. Those pictures are taken in July 2017.

This trip was amazing! Fullersburg Woods and the nature museum were awesome. My kids and I explored the island and saw a lot of fish, frogs, and we were about 5 feet from a deer eating! Then we went to the nature center and my kids could have played there for a few hours. We spent about an hour there looking at the animals and they also played with all the interactive areas. I would definitely highly recommend going here to enjoy a great day of fun!

Attended a small event at this Preserve. Gorgeous fall colors helps make this perfect. Plenty of parking. Well paved walking paths. The small event space was good, clean, and staff were very helpful.

Beautiful forest preserve for wedding photos. The Flat bridge was a nice location surrounded by a few paths for a variety of photos backdrops in a short distance from the parking lot. keep in mind a photo permit is required for photos in all dupage county forest preserves.

This was an amazing spot. Loved the trail and the general feel of it all. The indoor nature center was really small but the kids loved it and the older gentleman working there was super nice and attentive. We were there as a group of moms with a bunch of kids and as you can imagine it was loud but he was happy and excited! There were also lots of different types of mushrooms which was fun.

Me and my daughter just recently went . And it was absolutely beautiful. My daughter loved the little water fall by the mill. But we are said to hear they will remove it. We plan on going back before they do.

Very nice trails. Pictures from last summer. Deer were between trail and street...15 deey away. Great fall foilage as well...even just driving along Spring Road. Have not been in educ. center for a while but last time I remember, it was neat. It's got everything...water, trees, animals, Graue mill, little bridges to cross.

We hosted our wedding ceremony at one of the shelters in the forest preserve. We cannot thank Ranger Dave enough!!! We had a beautiful ceremony and Dave went above and beyond helping us through the permit process as well as making the shelter beautiful. Thank you to all the rangers who help keep Fullersburg Woods a beautiful area for the community!
