60 Acre off leash park. Went on a Sunday and we barely ran into anyone else there. Very quiet and well maintained

Took my pup for the first time and he absolutely loved it. As soon as I took his harness off he ran straight into the water and swam so much! After he came home and got a bath he was so tired The only thing I don’t like is that this is not a fenced off park so beware.

This is a nice area to walk around, and it doubles as a dog park. Lots of views, different ponds, and places to walk.

The best off leash dog park in Du Page. My dogs love it here. Usually spend 2 hours there. Dogs come home exhausted. Plenty of other dogs to play with. See you there!!

Large open spaces for dog to be free to roam, chase and wrestle with their peers. If you don't want your dog to wrestle, please stay home.

Off-leash dog park that is NOT fenced in (thought it was when we went, but just didn't read the website closely...my bad!), but quite spacious. Our dog can get a little mono-focused and wander/sprint away so we found a secluded area back by one of the lakes and let him off leash there. He had a blast. Right as we were pulling out of the parking lot the DuPage County Forest Preserve Police showed up. We had bought a one day permit, so we were all good even if we had stayed a little longer. Just putting this here to let people know that they DO enforce the permit rules. And honestly, just buy the permit. It helps the Forest Preserve with maintenance and upkeep.

Tons of trails off of the main gravel path. Highly recommend this park, can’t wait to come here this fall.

Best. Lots of trails. Good doggies always here. Lots of cuties hanging around the ponds or plenty of space to spread out and hike alone

I used to really love this dog park. It's a good size, it has a couple of ponds, and the dogs enjoy it. I gave 2 stars because the water frequently has that very dangerous blue green algea!! Be careful if you let your pups swim there!

I go here quite often and fly my drone here even more often. The best part is when there are no people and I can just explore at night when the park is closed and nobody knows I'm there.

There is so much space for your dog to run around and play with other dogs. A great place to take your dog swimming, as well as to go on a nice walk. Everyone I have seen there has been great and very friendly. Very much a family friendly place if you feel like bringing your family with!

Very excited to finally check out this off-leash dog park. Its huge with many side trails to explore. Our dog loved the freedom to roam trails. The water still has algae bloom so no swimming, but it's still a great area to take your dogs.

You have to get a licence to bring you dog here. I think is 80 per year.

  • 4/5 Joe N. 4 years ago on Google
    Lots of room & lakes

  • 5/5 Stephanie N. 2 years ago on Google
Expansive off leash park with a variety of trails to make sure you have the option of something more sure footed or can walk on less traveled paths to give your pup something unique to see and sniff. Water areas are great in the warmer months if your dog has an interest. Very nicely maintained and beautiful park.

Great place to allow dogs to try swimming for the first time. The park is not fenced like other Dog Parks I have been to. While we were there a dog ran into the parking lot and almost got hit by a car.

My dog loves it here, gets so excited when we turn into the parking lot. Huge place for dogs and people and lots of off the trail paths.

Nice place to go if you want to get out doors and relax or if you enjoy hiking. The scenery was even better during sundown :) I would definitely reccomend.

Very large unfenced off-leash dog park. Great variety of environments--paths, water, trees, prairie. Plenty of garbage cans and bags. Always encountered good dogs and owners. Portable restroom available.

Awesome place to take your dog(s) off leash. Unfortunately, I live in Cook County so the fees here are very expensive..

Please be advised you need to get a permit in order to bring your dog to this facility. I went it looks beautiful but I had no idea I need a permit so it’s a waste of my time can you make sure you get a permit it’s worth the money

Excellent park. Beautiful view and great for obedient dog run.

  • 5/5 Mandy Z. 3 years ago on Google
Big open areas with well worn paths; mostly clean and has multiple water areas for the dogs to play in. I've seen rangers there and I've heard they do check passes.

  • 5/5 Kenneth S. 3 years ago on Google
    Ponds are open dogs missed

Got a bit lost in here once, riding my bike and thinking the bike path loop was a thruway to get to Army Trail Rd. This was before the days of using my phone as a GPS of course. Did see a park ranger here once overlooking the place. And, funny of all, never suspected this place being a dog park because I never saw any indicators (people with dogs or other "evidence") that this was a dog park. With that said this place sounds fantastic for dogs.

  • 4/5 David B. 3 years ago on Google
Great off leash park...some of the trails are harder than others to navigate but still loads of fun for your pups. Lots of water for your dog to swim. Some places have green algae but you can find spots that do not.
