This place is by far the best peaceful nature site, we have came here as young kids and now we have had our kids and we still go and our new generations have just seen this amazing place its great . Beautiful 😍 very busy on weekends but worth every minute

My 2 year old loves this thing! We've never gone inside it, but the area is beautiful just by the river. Bike paths that go along the river, one that goes over to the Japanese Gardens, it really is a beautiful area. Lots of geese, though, if that's not your thing

Beautiful low crowded place that has history and natural beauty. A Japanese garden with beautiful surroundings, a free flowing river , historic Fabyan windmill and lush green nature are a treat. Seems like pet friendly and for kids they have good space to play around. Overall a feel good place and calming vibes.

The Fabyan windmill is a beautiful place with a lot of interesting history. I definitely recommend going when it's open for tours so you can see all of the machinery and craftsmanship inside. It's run by volunteers and they're all friendly and enthusiastic.

I visited Fabyan windmill with my plein air art group. Artists from the Dupage Art league gathered and all painted, drew, sketched the beautiful surroundings. There is a beautiful windmill on the grounds, a Japanese garden, a river with a bridge, There was a local group of bicycleists biking through the trails at the time. A coach working out with his team. People walking their dogs. What a beautiful day and what a beautiful spot to paint have a picnic or just visit. There isn't any charge there is plenty of parking and very clean bathrooms. I will definitely visit again and again. Enjoy!

Cool little pavilion rest stop off of the Fox River trail. Bathrooms were not ideal. Reminded me of a porta potty.

Perfectly kept historic windmill (although not in its original location). Great spot bewtween a forest preserve and near the river.

Great historical site. Outhouse and picnic shelter nearby. Easy walk from the Geneva train station.

A well-preserved historical windmill from the early 18th century. Plenty of parking and a connection to the Fox River Trail.

Beautiful restored windmill with a fascinating history as to how where and when it was moved to this picturesque location. On rare occasions you may even get to see it spinning away, a truly amazing sight to behold. Tours are available.

Did you know there are mountain bike trails on the other side of this park? connect the trails to circle the windmill, island gardens, and even a Japanese garden on the other side of the river, enjoy!

We made sure we stopped at the Windmill as we cruised down the Fox River Trail.

Love taking kids to this place. Nice little hill to go sledding in. Picnic tables, parking lot, and view of the river close together so little feet don't need to walk far.

Beautiful windmill, didn't know they did self guided week tours or wed have come earlier. Bet it's awesome inside, totally recommend stopping here.

This windmill is really nice. I've been here many times, they offer tours where you can go inside and see how people over 100 years ago used to grind corn and many other seeds. There is bike trails seating areas and washrooms.

Very interesting windmill to see! Cool old Dutch windmill dating from the 1850s.

This was purchased from Lombard where it was originally from... it's fun to take a few pictures of. Sometimes it's tour able.
