I was going home after my evening bike ride when a huge bulldog which was unleashed, came running towards me. It was barking and trying to bite me. Thankfully I was using my bike to defend my self. Then this comes casually walking out of the dog park and she was asking me to calm down and not react. I told her to control the dog and said you have to keep your dogs on leash when it’s out of the dog park. She took the dog away without even apologizing. Imagine if was a small child in my place and the what her “friendly” dog was capable of doing. Such dog owners should be heavily fined.

It's a 15 acre fenced in dog park. Provides plenty of room for your dogs to run freely. Also plenty of other dogs to play with most days. I come here almost everyday and I rarely have issues with other dogs/owners. Most people who go here are friendly.

Honestley the land is great but this is now my second weekend in a row where bull terrior breed came trying to attack my dog I warn the owner to get his dog and he just stands there shocked saying his name when the dog has clear tunnell vision. And last week same breed different dog came tunnell vision trying to attack my puppy with no owner in sight or sign of an owner at all if your coming here be prepared to guard your dogs life I wish their was more rangers or a ban on aggressive breeds. Save your 50 bucks

Fenced-in dog park. One for small dogs and another for the rest...Medium on up. Paths are maintained pretty well. The open areas well.... they are maintained, but the owners are the problem...I'll get to that shortly. Plenty of brush in which dogs can explore and play in. My pup loves it, there are little trails hidden in the brush that all lead back out to the path. There are a few picnic tables located sporadically...can be muddy at times, but its a field for dogs, so...it is what it is. One downside would be some of the owners of the pup's. Not all pet owners pick up after their dogs, pay attention to where you're stepping (trail, brush, open field). Also some owners will not pay attention to their animal. So if they are in 'beast mode' and go after an older or smaller pup....be prepared to defend your pup. That's about the time that the owner will arrive and be upset that you are touching their dog. yes... entitlement is alive and well, but where isn't it now a days. Bottom line is its a nice park for the dogs, so its 4. Only rub isnt the park, its some of the owners and lack of supervision from the rangers that lower the score. You do need a dog park pass, which you can get online. Love it and will return regardless.

I’d give this place a five star review but the more and more I would go there with my dog I would get a worse and worse feeling every time, I am always on high alert when I am at this dog park because now three times my dog has been nearly attacked by numerous of bull terrier type dogs and my poor guy just wants to play frisbee. Each one we’d encounter would growl and literally tunnel vision my dog coming up from behind and under the bench to try and nip my dog I literally had to pick my dog up so it would stop AND IT STILL KEPT GOING! Followed us for half a mile to the trail and the owner? NO WHERE IN SITE! I’d be very mindful bringing your dog here and avoid this place if you could, it’s beautiful but if there weren’t so many aggressive dogs and careless owners I’d give it another try. I just wish the rangers would be there more to monitor dogs behaviors and see how careless some of these owners are, it ruins the experience for a 8 month old puppy.

We take our dog here a couple of times a week. It's a great place to get some exercise and make new friends. There's a path that's about half a mile long and a large green space for the dogs to run and play. Poop bags and garbages are placed around the area. Port-o-potty available right outside of the gate. Make sure to bring your own water as there isn't a fountain.

Great place for dog and their humans to get great exercise. After a few rounds, me and my GS pup Shadow really are both well tired. Great time to watch him and other dogs play and run around. Thank you Park District * Forest Preserve for a great service. Keep up. You're are all heroes!

Super nice dog park! Has two sections one for a big dogs and one for the small dogs. Nice walking trails and a great open area for play. Friendly pups and it’s nice they have bags for you to use if you run out of yours. Wish they had more tables for seating but overall, great place!

Good size with a separate area for small dogs. Quite popular with dogs all day long. Many regulars who come every day. Well behaved dogs.

This is our Goldendoodle's favorite off leash dog park! Lots of green wide open space to run around in and a nice walking trail around the park and natural prairie area. Every time we go we always meet really nice dog owners and nice dogs (no mean ones!🤣).There's a smaller area for small dogs too.

Awesome dog park! Since it requires a license, generally speaking only well-behaved dogs are found here.

Great fenced-in dog park. Paths, open areas, plenty of brush in which dogs can explore. Picnic tables throughout. One downside: not all pet owners pick up after their dogs, so you have to pay attention to where you're stepping sometimes. Requires a park pass, which you can get at the dupage county site.

Best dog park in the county! The park is divided into two parts: smaller dogs and all dogs. Both are large and fully fenced in. You must have a DuPage Off-Leash pass, which costs $50 per year (free to those 65+). Poop bags available throughout the park. People are, for the most part, very friendly. The park is slated for some major renovations in 2023!

A great dog park all the dog's are super friendly and very happy to be in such a large dog park with plenty of room to roam and very pleasant for the human as well.

Beautiful oasis for dogs. There is an area for smaller dogs, the grass is very well kept, there are plenty of stations to get bags for your puppy's needs, and the parking lot is very conveniently located.

This is a really beautiful park. It's just large enough and just small enough, lol! And there are plenty of walking trails outside of the dog park as well as inside the dog park. I really appreciate that it's there.
