Very nicely done river walk. Lots of areas for children to run around and they even have a man made beach, pool and lake. Very close to downtown Naperville so lots of dinning options and bars. Will come back again.

The Naperville Riverwalk consists of a nearly two miles of walkway, covered bridges, exquisite landscaping, relaxing fountains, and much more. It’s located along the DuPage River, close to several historic and central Naperville sites, such as the Downtown Naperville area, where you can find restaurants and shopping galore. With various activities available, excellent scenery, and easy access, the Riverwalk is an ideal location for families, young adults, and seniors alike.

The riverwalk is the perfect little getaway. Wonderful walking trails along the river with spots to stop & enjoy. The wildlife & all of the flowers & plants are always so beautiful. They have a lake where you can rent paddle boats at & a little restaurant too. I love spending an afternoon or evening here!

The Naperville Riverwalk is a hidden gem that exceeded all my expectations during my visit to this charming city! Nestled along the Dupage River, this scenic escape offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, recreational activities, and a serene atmosphere. The well-maintained pathways make for a delightful stroll, flanked by lush greenery, blooming flowers, and the soothing sounds of the river. The Centennial Beach, a historic quarry turned swimming spot, is a refreshing oasis during the warmer months, perfect for families or anyone seeking relaxation. The Riverwalk is dotted with public art installations, adding a touch of culture to the surroundings. Benches and gazebos provide ideal spots to unwind and take in the picturesque views of the river and nearby bridges. The whimsical paddleboats and canoes available for rent add an extra layer of fun to the experience. For history enthusiasts, the Riverwalk features charming memorials and plaques, offering insights into Naperville's rich past. The vibrant downtown area, easily accessible from the Riverwalk, boasts a variety of dining options and boutique shops. The welcoming atmosphere, coupled with the community events frequently hosted here, makes the Naperville Riverwalk a perfect destination for families, couples, or solo travelers. Whether you're seeking relaxation, recreation, or a bit of both, this five-star-worthy destination is a must-visit in Naperville!

Love the river walk! It’s so cool being so close to the river while walking the path! At times it gets narrow but that’s because it was built so long ago! The trail continues off the river but still along the path of the river that goes on much longer. Come fish, sit by the river or watch the wildlife emerge! Plenty of benches to sit on with an overlook view of the river in a couple spots. Besides that it’s a gorgeous place to relax by

Beautiful place to walk, sit, eat, fish, many other things. This was our first time, but it won't be our last. Beautiful lilacs, super cool covered bridges, some history. The bell tower was amazing, can't wait till it's open again so we can go up. If I could I would give it 10 stars.

A very nice place to get a good walk and good air. You can walk very close to the river if you like and enjoy viewing ducklings and fish!!. There is a regular walkway as well if you don't want too close to the water.

Downtown/Riverwalk Naperville is a great big food destination on steroids. Lots of variety and many choices. After you eat, you can walk it all off with miles of waterside walking with well maintained walkways.

Love this place. Perfect for date night for a romantic walk along the water & great for a family night with the kids. There are many food places to choose from with indoor and outdoor dining or just go for dessert at the many ice cream, frozen yogurt, or chocolate places.

With COVID restrictions lifting and many residents/visitors wearing masks it’s safe to visit. The parking garage beside Barnes and Noble is under construction so I’d recommend going to the other side for the second and third level parking.

Whoever was in charge of the city planning of downtown Naperville did just an amazing job. Beautiful spot to walk around and just enjoy the surroundings
