The path is nice and well maintained. Even with recent rain the limestone path is not "muddy"

I love this park and so my dog. There are bag dispensers. Has a really good size fenced park. And owners are pretty nice.

It was an okay forest preserve. We had fun and there were plenty of trails for biking and hiking but when I think of a forest preserve I think of a massive amount of dense trees. Most of our hiking was on a rock path in sunlight (yes, I enjoyed myself) it's a Nice area to enjoy the day but not the very wooded area I was hoping. If I'm going to a forest I want to be immersed in trees. There was a historic barn and house which wasn't tour able but a photo op. There were other trails we did not embark but from the road view it seemed the other trails were also not in the woods. Finally, there is a dog park, and rumor has it you need a permit to have your dog β€œoff leash” at the park.

Great forest preserve for a relaxing walk on a beautiful spring day! Did the White Oak Trail for about 2.7 miles. Took about an hour on the well groomed trail. No leaves yet so not much shade and not a lot of wildlife, just some birds. There was enough parking and a porta-potty for bathrooms.

Flat crushed limestone paths. Nice for a walk, jog or bike with a chance to see wildlife. Not crowded. Be prepared for ticks if you venture off path on the east side in warmer months.

Not too bad, a decent size parking lot, actually lots as there is more than one and I've used both. Various trails allow you to take longer loops or shorter depending on how you feel that day.

Beautiful walking trails wide enough to safely pass others in opposite direction. Easy to follow trail maps. Well groomed. Beautiful scenery and fall colors! Large parking lots.

Beautiful place for a simple, peaceful and scenic hike! Paved path is super easy to walk. Non winter months it is stroller friendly, however, as snow melts the wet/mud-like paved path isn’t something I’d recommend for strollers. Multiple routes, all well labeled/mapped at each parking lot. Only suggestion I have is to maybe have specific addresses made for each parking lot on Google maps. My friend and I tried meeting up for our hike and our phones took us to different lots. From what I remember there are 4 different parking lots around this forest preserve. Having a specific address assigned for each lot would definitely make is easier for friend and family to meet up.

Just an awesome off leash park. It's split into two. One side for small dogs, the other side for huge dogs. It's so much fun to see them interact. You can also take a walk in the inside of the park. There is a trail to walk them (off leash.) You get your walking exercise, and so does your four legged friend.πŸ™‚

Great place to jog / run / walk / bike, the trails are extensive, branching and well maintained. Multiple parking lots with ample parking + water well, portable restroom and map. Horse friendly as well. All in all a solid trail parkπŸ‘

Some fantastic walks through Mother Nature await. The White Oak trail loop is gorgeous this time of year. Very peaceful. I also enjoy parking near the dog park area, then take the regional trail south across 75th. You can stay on the regional trail or hang a Louie on Valley trail. Either way results in a cool 2 mile loop through prairie!

My dogs always have a great time here; when you go in the spring thru fall there are plenty of great doggie-blazed trails through all the brush in the middle. There's also huge open spaces for them to run out their energy, and a trail for humans to walk with their dogs. Most of the people who come here are also very considerate and pick up after their dogs.

My boy loves going to this park, plenty of space for him to run along and explore. It would be nice if they had a water fountain for dogs within the park. It's kinda hard to when you go by yourself and run out of water.

I'm leaving this review as a teacher who took kindergarten students here! The forest preserve provided an hour long guided tour that explored the forest through the senses, and it was excellent! The students really enjoyed the visit, and we were also allowed an hour to explore some of the shorter trails. We even saw a raccoon in a tree (which is all the students talked about!) There are only rough bathroom facilities, but we still enjoyed a beautiful fall day here!

The trail itself is in tip top shape (crushed limestone/ asphalt). On a Mon. there were county field workers all over the place.(driving on the trail). An amazing amount of parking spaces. But no benches or observation spots to just kick back and enjoy the view. There are wide flats full of dead trees. I wonder... did the county purposely poison these trees or is there a "natural cause".

My favorite in DuPage County. The White Oak Trail is a great blend of curves, hills, meadows, trees. Gorgeous. And usually very few people so quiet.

Great forest preserve with some awesome trials for hiking, walking, biking, or just being outside. They're pretty well maintained and the gravel rides well. Parking lots are very nice, although they are located in somewhat always positions that makes some trails in the South side kind of difficult to access.

Lovely walking paths through both prairie and forest. There is ample parking and a clean port-a-pot for one's convenience. You could walk just about as long or as short as you desire πŸ˜‰

Great campsites and well maintained trails (5 stars). The dog park gets a little rowdy with dog owners not paying attention - we stopped going (3 stars).

What a beautiful dog park! We love the short hike loop around the area, and our pup loves exploring the prairie off leash.
