Great lake and small boat launches for kayaks and canoes. The parking lots have plenty of space and there are many small bodies of water and areas to go around. There are some new picnic tables available. The boathouse is currently closed for Covid, although I found that the bathrooms were open. Mask wearing in the bathroom is required because there isnt an exhaust. Amazing place for a picnic and afternoon by the lake!!

READ FIRST BEFORE YOU GO HERE! Public but not open to public for parking what so ever. People walk on roads all over and don't walk on paths so expect to drive 15-20 mins in a circle. (DUPAGE RESIDENTS ONLY!) Shame you don't have a dupage only parking sign in the only way in but 10 other signs on the other lots 😥.

Awesome place to fish with your kids! Almost every nice day you have a guaranteed bite! There are big bass, pike, bluegill, sunfish, etc! If you are a fisherman, come check it out! Overall this place is amazing!

Gotta hike way to the back to see some pretty old ruins. It’s near the true hidden lake. Neither of the big lakes are hidden. Those are meadow and eagle lakes. Tons of history if you dig deep.

Absolutely picture perfect fall scene today as I took a quick stroll around the water in Hidden Lake forest preserve today. Marshes and prairie surround the brackish yet beautiful lake, with the DuPage river flowing nearby adding a riparian element to the preserve which is contiguous to the Morton Arboretum.

Nice hike. Hard to find the actual Hidden Lake but seems like someone did pretty good job with marking trails recently.

We go there everytime we crave some fresh air and some exercise. It has two huge lakes and two loops. There's a shaded area for picnics and I've seen people fishing here as well. There's ample parking space. The park is clean except for all the dog poop, the dog owners leave behind.

It’s small but it’s nice. They have some good summer camps and if you want to walk somewhere cool with a lake and some off road trails. This is the perfect place for you.

Really fantastic place! I was so surprised, I’ve never really been a bird person but this place changed my mind. The bird show was awesome and the aviary where you could feed the birds nectar was great. Whole family thoroughly enjoyed it! Much bigger than it looks from the car park and great that there’s an indoor play area for rain spells!
