Poor customer service, made an appointment a day in advance to purchase accessories for my AirPods as I needed a new charging case, and was going to pick up some ear buds for them as well. When I arrived I was told that this was a Genius Bar service and I would have to wait two hours to be seen. Absolutely no effort to provide further assistance. I mean how hard is it to sell me a new charging case, I could have paired it on my own. Learn how to assist your customers Apple of Orland Park.

Very bad experience . Apple changed my appointment automatically.I arrived to the store 35 minutes before ...The store was as you can see in the photo half empty but arrogant worker told me that I have to wait exactly for the appointment.I just asked since I live 1 hour from the store whether it is possible to give me the phone right away I was told that I have to wait for a specialist. What specialist ? Very many employees just stood at the table and talked. Why can't they bring my phone right away? I can understand if there were 1000 people waiting but no one in the store...I'm disappointed....

Drove nearly an hour to get here. Arrived at the store to get my sisters phone fixed or replaced, Store was half empty, we were then told by a rep that we need to make an appointment and that they were “Booked” for the day. I asked if the phone could just be replaced instead of being fixed as an easier solution, I was still told I would need to make an appointment. Will never visit this location again! Would give 0 stars if I could!

Terrible. Just terrible. I was told to wait an hour for a repair. They made me wait much longer and since the wait took so long I had to cancel and walk out. While trying to find someone to help I approached a staff member with curly hair and a mask on ( I describe her as I did not subject myself to the misfortune of asking for her name), she looks at me looks back at her iPad rolls her eyes and says check in at the back with out even asking me what I needed or letting me get a word in and then continued to ignore me. Just to be clear I did not want to check in. She was simply in a bad mood and entirely unwilling to do her job. The staff was so unhelpful and I never actually got my phone fixed.

I wish there was a zero or negative star review. This has to be the worst apple store in the tri-state area. I received a defective MacBook and brought it back within the same day and they refused to issue a refund. Bryan is the worst manager I have ever worked with. Alison and Lisa are both horrific lying managers. They say in order to return a product it must be fully functional when the reason I was returning was that it wasn’t functional. I spent 4 hours in the store fighting with these horrific embarrassing customer service professionals. I then took my defective MacBook to the apple store in Oak Brook mall. Oak brook mall gave me the refund within five minutes and really knew the meaning of customer service. PLEASE AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS!!!! They are horrible! Never shopping here in my life again.

Would give no star but not an option! Drive over 1.5hrs to get my friends apple phone fixed bc it's disabled. They turned us away. Phone is my friends property and locking one out of one's property is BS! I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING APPLE EVER AGAIN! BS customer service. They also had an attitude which was unprofessional. Sales women was nice tho

I’d legitimately give it zero stars if I could. Went in to get my phone checked out because it was overheating prior to (not fixed because it still happens). Ran a diagnostic, nothing. He said it might be a software issue. Did a software update and to make a LONG story short, I am missing messages from 10/03 up until 11/22 because APPARENTLY you are suppose to back your phone up prior to (which I didn’t know up until I called apple support today). He didn’t have me back up my phone and if he would’ve, he would’ve have seen that I had no storage available and would’ve had to either delete things or purchase more storage. Neither were ever brought up. The supervisor wasn’t help either when I called today and basically, to sum it up, said there is no form of compensation.

This is Not what I expected from a great company like Apple. Today, I had the Worst experience of my life; more than four hours, multiple store managers and got no where. I had a very high expectation, and got disappointed very badly. I go to Apple for the great experience it’s known for ; from today on, I will be dealing with a machine and get online service. My advice, avoid stores at all costs. #Apple #BadExperience.

Okay I’m changing it because this time I went this man named Amerre was so helpful I forgot that I had a 2 year warranty on the unit but they never put it on the unit at Best Buy. So I brought my receipt even though I was there for a hour they got me the help I needed. The manager I seen there last time was there he was looking crazy. But I’m happy and satisfied with this visit

Not the best Apple Store Experience I have ever had. I buy alot of Apple products and have gone to Naperville, OakBrook and Orland Square Mall this time. Naperville #1, OakBrook #2 and sorry but Orland did not compare so it is rated #3. Went in to pick up a pre-ordered Apple Watch and to buy a new Phone that I already picked out in my head. Had an appointment. Had no wait for the appt. and the sales/pickup person was great. That was the end of my good experience however. The activation table was a nightmare - first someone started and left to eat lunch and pawned me off to a new person who was rude and inattentive to getting my 2 items finished and never did finish the watch. She gave up and I asked well what now - do I go to the ATT store? She said I guess. So I took my items and left. Never have I ever had to leave an Apple Store w/o having my items activated. It took 2 trips to the ATT store for them to figure out what happened and they finally got my watch going. Did talk to the manager on the phone who gave some kind of explanation however it was a confusing one. When my ATT bill came had to get watch redone again. In contrast when I buy from Naperville they have bent over backwards to help me with anything including helping me get my discount due to son's benefits in the past-buying Macs, phones, watches, etc.

I took my iMac to get fixed, they erased everything and it still didn’t fix the issue. My desktop still doesn’t want to connect to Internet and it seems like there’s a virus on the desktop that they don’t want to admit to.

They need to be trained again starting from the Manager (Dave) poor understanding what their flaws are to good customer service. So I went to the store for a purchase I knew what I wanted before hand just a simple purchase in my head. We arrived and had to make a appointment it was going to be 30-45 minutes wait no problem. I understood, this time passed by went back waited another 10 minutes in line to to tell them we were here for the purchase only to be told to wait a other 10-15 minutes time kept going by seening other people come in and out faster then we were getting helped. Spoke to a associate on floor to ask what and why it was so hard to get item I wanted Manager came back and said they were short staff and I asked why couldn't he help us as it was a short sale at this point I was very perturbed and infuriated. Not even 2 minutes later of this talk he sent a young associate and she was the only reason I stood and bought from there she was polite and very respectful other this experience everything else was made difficult for no reason. If you go to this store expect to wait 2 or 3 times more then initially told. Sorry for the blunt truth hope Apple fixed loose ends here in management.

Do not recommend this specific location. In my experience staff was very rude. The genius bar doesn't seem to have the same level of expertise as other locations. Store is also not as clean as others. My laptop was stolen and I was unable to get into my iCloud account. I was told there is no possible way to retrieve it. Which was incorrect.

Terrible. I had previously schedule for an appointment at this location a day before. I had purchase a official Apple product still under the one year warranty with proof of purchase was denied help. The staff kept asking me to spell my name four time. I wonder if he was even paying attention nonetheless I went to inquire about a fray lighting cable replacement which he utterly denied to help me. It was such a horrible experience having to schedule an appointment to come there to seek help but to get nothing in return. Avoid this location unprofessional staff. Constantly looking at their phone was very inattentive no wonder why the had to call customer service to get any help.

Despite the numerous negative reviews, my recent experience at this Apple Store aligned with the disappointing feedback. They failed to honor my scheduled appointment, resulting in an additional 30-minute wait. Despite arriving 10 minutes early, they almost canceled my appointment, insisting I have to be there 15 minutes early. It appears that at this Apple Store, their customer service is declining, with a focus on money and rigid processes rather than customer satisfaction. Expect delays if you make an appointment. Sharing concerns about their mistakes may lead to unpleasant encounters with thin-skinned, uncooperative managers. This Apple Store's customer service needs significant improvement to regain its reputation for good service. There's a lot of room for enhancement."

Had a replacement for my Beats Headphones. They told me a receipt would come via email. After 4 days I didn’t receive my receipt (I needed it for proof to get reimbursed.) I called Apple Care 5 times within 2 days and got the run around each time (the last time I waited a half hour on hold only to get hung up on). I kept getting the run around with one person telling me the store should be able to produce a receipt and another telling me the store can’t do it since the repair was done via third party!

I am very happy with my most recent (11/5/23) visit to the Apple Store in Orland Square Mall. My wife and I were greeted and checked in by Apple employee Markel and Apple’s Security Officer Anthony. Both gentlemen showed the best customer service I have ever seen, hands down. I swear, I’m not just saying that. They were both so friendly, outgoing, funny, knowledgeable, and professional. After Markel asked what brought us in, and I explained how my phone wasn’t charging because I thought it was dirty in the charging port, he didn’t even make me wait the 15 minutes for my appointment. He brought his tools out and solved my issue in about 2 minutes. I can’t sing praises high enough for both of these gentlemen. Usually going to Apple is somewhat chaotic, but these two employees not only made the entire visit calm and painless, but they made it a very fun experience, as well. They have the best customer service skills and work ethics that I have ever seen. To be happy and ready to help at the sight of people needing help, that is something a lot of companies could use to model their customer support skills after. Absolutely well done Markel & Anthony, and thank you both for such a pleasant experience!!

I bought an apple watch as gift for my sister but I had to return it 2 days after cos she told me she already got an apple watch. It took me 30 mins wait for them to assist me. It just baffles me cos when I bought the apple watch it didn’t take 5 mins to wait for someone to assist me but now when you return a product to them it’s gonna take forever and there’s a lot of apple workers there who’re just talking with each other with their pads. IT SUCKS!

Usually, I have a fine experience at this store and have bought multiple apple products here. Unfortunately, after a repair took much longer than quoted, I was transferred back and forth between the Orland Park store and apple support. I reached a team lead named Brian at the Orland Park store. Brian was entirely unempathetic, misquoted the cost of the repair, and was rude with me. I typically rave about the customer support I receive from Apple but Brian is clearly an exception to otherwise great service. I'm not sure how he received a promotion to lead when there are other, kinder Apple workers.

Appeared to be very knowledgeable but did not help with the issues with my phone. Basically deactivated my phone and I had to call my carrier to reactivate it. Now have to wait forever to recover my data. Please don't jump into resets right away when you do not fully understand what it will do to my device.

I spoke with two folks regarding my new iPad Pro and getting AppleCare for all of my devices, and both were extremely knowledgeable and pleasant, even when breaking some bad news to me (which I expected to sone degree). I’d go back if I had to for an Apple Store I can drive to and find parking, but the Michigan store is my go to.

The service, atmosphere and overall experience in this store was exceptional. My mom is 87 and is a huge Apple fan and needed support for her email login. The support she received was kind, friendly and supportive. I have Android devices, but after my experience with my mom in the Apple store, I was tempted to switch. Thank you Apple team!

Dominque was amazing!!! Friendly, knowledgeable and personable plus my issue was actually with my service provider and not Apple. I had gone there first and they sent me to Apple. Luckily, I didn’t have to go back to see someone else at T-Mobile because Dominque was familiar with the phone and was able to change my settings with just a few clicks. In less than minutes, my phone was fixed and it wasn’t even an Apple issue so many kudos to Dominque for being so quick, efficient and just plain sweet. Customer service all around was great and I was seen much quicker than anticipated. Great experience with customer service that went above and beyond!

The workers are so rude. They’re very stuck up and don’t even want to help you. I don’t recommend you buy Apple products from the Apple store if you want good advice on products or prices. T-mobile is way better.

Be careful sales person is lack of knowledge and trying to make you fool with money. Going back and found with manager on how to refund my money when you order online and pick up in store this guys will say you order online and just picked up in store we are unable to do.. the brand new phone was defective and i want it to exchange this is very rare with apple and still loosing money because they don’t know how to work on it.

My experience at this store is always awesome. I made an appointment and was seen right away. The ‘genius’ who helped me this time was Mona. She was extremely professional yet friendly. I had been having a problem with my voicemail for about three weeks. I had spoken to AT&T at least four times and an average of 3 hours each time. I also went to Best Buy with no success. Mona informed me that voicemail is through the carrier but she said she would do her best to help me since I had already gone to the carrier and she did just that. She explained everything that she was doing and why. When all was said and done, my problem was fixed. I can’t thank Mona enough. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

I’ve been here a few times (outside of my appointment time) and everyone there was friendly as can be. They’re always making sure you have what you need to be comfortable, they’re very knowledgeable, and make sure you understand everything about your product before you leave.

Bought a used IPad from this store that worked for roughly 5-6 months. Then the screen was unresponsive. I tried to go get it fixed but I had to cancel. It is a long drive. Then I set up another appointment which ended up being closer, at a best buy. The tech said Apple does not fix the iPad and that we would have to buy another used one for $275. I tried to go to a shop to have it repaired but it was not repairable. I guess we are switching to a kindle. I'm not paying another $275. Forget that!!! Goodbye Apple.

Staff is nice and friendly as usual. The main issue is the lack of devices available for purchase in-store. I understand it’s the holidays, but not having devices available for in-store purchase takes away from the magic of going to the store. Specially when I have the entire clan, kids and spouse, to make that magic feeling happen.

If you go there, try to get Andrew with the curly black hair. Even though they usually just assign you a person, Andrew was the best apple guy I've ever seen. He was able to help us solve our problems in just a few minutes. We had come for a refund on a phone we had just bought, but we were just outside of the refund period. A manager the week before had said that if we returned the phone, we would lose $240 due to the trade in we had given them. It took the manager and two other techs thirty minutes to figure all this out. They had mentioned that we might have gotten a gift card for the $240 to use in the store, but they couldn't make the computer cooperate. My daughter and I came back a few days later because my daughter wanted the new pink iphone 13 so bad, she was willing to pay the $240 difference for the new phone. Enter Andrew. Click click click and within a few minutes, he handed us a gift card that we were able to use toward the new phone. As a mom, it was such a relief to see my daughter get exactly what she wanted without feeling like we had been cheated. Seriously. Remember the name. Andrew. He says he has been there for six years and has no interest in being manager. He just likes helping people. I feel that's a guy you can trust.

Service was slow, but when I finally spoke to a tech, he was good. Waited two hours for assistance, while people coming in after me were taken care of before me. Seems the small assistance I needed could have been handled by even someone at the door.

The American Mall is slowly coming into Extinction, yet this one still seems to be absolutely thriving. I'm sick of things surviving let alone thriving. And I cannot wait for the day it becomes completely barren. May all our souls go to the great yacgzitha and amen.

Extremely disappointed with our experience today at this Apple location. Coming in for a simple swap of an accessory has never been more frustrating. The associate helping us was multi-tasking with several other customers and making many mistakes. Once we left the store with our exchange, we realized he exchanged it for the wrong product. The. When going back in, he quickly acknowledged his mistake, offered to help correctsituation, but was stuck helping three other customers taking 15 more minutes. If he simply paid attention to one customer at a time, many errors would have been avoided. Our wait time would have went from 45 minutes down to 5. Complete waste of time, next time I will drive to Oak Brook Mall's location to get the proper help the first time.

Very helpful. They helped us figure out what was wrong with my daughter's phone. We walked in and because our issue was quick no appointment was necessary.
