I wish I could give them 0 stars. This hotel accused me of smoking in my hotel room and I DID NOT! THEY CHARGED ME $200.48 FOR SOMETHING I DID NOT DO. I called to dispute the charge and the manager was so rude and hung up on me. I saw a mouse when I was walking to my car at 4am to smoke. I asked them to check their camera but no. They saw the tobacco in the trash and assumed I smoked. They are liars. I only live 30 minutes away and got the room because I had to take a shower and change after I setup for a wedding I know the rules and followed them. I left my room at roughly 10am after eating my leftover spaghetti so there is no way I smelled from being outside at 4am. The staff saw tobacco in the trash and assumed. Weed is legal. There were people smoking it in the hotel outside area after the wedding. OUTSIDE! I really regret staying here. The bride had an issue as well and when I was checking in, two gentlemen had an issue with their bill. They will take your money and you can't dispute it with your bank. Please don't stay at this hotel! I want my money back!

We have been staying in hiltons for years as it is our hotel of choice. However this location’s service was awful and staff surely missed the day of training for customer service. Housekeeping barges into rooms without knocking, front desk staff were rude and only offered a 30 min extension on check out when we are Diamond members, the pool was extremely small like the size of a hot tub and the worst part is staff has to let you into the pool area, you can not access the pool without staff walking you in with a keycard.

If I can give this hotel 0 stars I would! I was discriminated from the time I walked in the hotel. This hotel does not have a welcoming environment. The guy at the front desk on 7-16-2023 at around 8 ish starred us down like he haven't seen black people before. When another parent and I wanted to take our girls down to the pool, he said it rudely " ahhh you can't go in the pool, cause the bolt on the door is not working ". At check in Never said that. I asked what time the pool closed and he said at 10. Then, on the way back up to our rooms, the elevator stop working. Another gentlemen was on it and got off and told him. Front desk guy went to fix it. He never told us he got it back working. I had to ask was it ok and his response was "yes, I guess you guys did something because the amount of people on it". First, it was all small children and I'm a little woman. How can we mess up an elevator? All of us got on after checking in with our bags and a cart and we didn't have any problems. Last but not lease, a woman called us in both rooms saying someone complaining about noise and if happens again we would have to leave🤨 we all watching a movie and eating popcorn, so I'm so confused 😕 I would never stay at this racist hotel again. It's a shame people only like a certain skin color. We are all God's people and it's going to be different race of people in heaven and hell. Smh

This hotel is perfect for traveling with a little one. We are able to have a seperate place for her to go to bed while staying up a little later. The full fridge and freezer allows us to keep all her favorite snacks and drinks in easy reach. The option to check in through the app is great for those who want contact free stay. The staff is very helpful and prompt when you need anything.

Great hotel at a reasonable price. Service was good and it’s next to many restaurants and businesses. GPS directions can be confusing since it’s on a busy one way street.

This is becoming our go-to hotel for Chicago area travel. It's difficult to find a place for a family of six to stay in one room but we have enjoyed the suites here on more than one occasion. Our 2-Queen Suite has a kitchenette with a full fridge and a true closing door between the room with the sleeper sofa and the room with the queens. That has helped make our stay so comfortable. The bedroom also had a ceiling fan which really helped the room feel fresh. Like any hotel I recommend bringing some kind of air freshener, because scents waft between rooms, and something like a small aromatherapy mister to help add moisture to a dry room. The breakfast was varied and quite good. The omelettes in particular were surprisingly good for the complimentary breakfast fare.

Highly recommend this hotel. I travel a lot and this hotel is the best hotel I have stayed when it comes to cleanliness. They gave me a free upgrade. There were two big TV’s with my name and welcoming me. There was a full kitchen, living area and my room was separate. Bathroom supplies were there. Bathroom very clean. The fridge in my kitchen was very clean! I am a happy customer and I always stay here when I am working in Chicago area.

This is our new hotel that we'll book every time when visiting Chicago. Great location, breakfast was superb, pet friendly (it's very hard to find cleanliness, pet friendly, and great customer all in one place). We were in town for my cousin's funeral and this hotel brought so much comfort during our time of bereavement. We were close to family and everything was outstanding.

I reserved 2 rooms overnight for my son's wedding and at the time of check in at 3pm, my rooms were not ready. According to the young staff members they had no explanation then it was the room was not cleaned and ready. My son checked in a day earlier and told me the floor i was on was empty. My first room wasn't ready until about 1 1/2 hours later and the second room even longer. Yet i was charged the full amount for their error. When i called the hotel after my stay to complain, several times there was never any manager available to talk to me and no one returned my calls.

Waited 15 minutes for hot water, finally, settled on luke warm. Roofing the entire time, hammers banging all day. No apologies, discount, or conciliatory comments. The buffet breakfast.....meh'. But the restaurant staff were very nice. Bed was nice. Bathroom and kitchen were nice size. Furniture is rock hard, (no joke) hotel furniture. Most of the staff are helpful. Employees need an attitude adjustment.

I stayed here and the lobby gives FREE water bottles out. However if you come back late don’t expect that treatment. I pleased with the receptionist trying to get a water for my incapacitated friend with no help. Disappointed for in the hospitality.

Pros: excellent location if you need to be in Orland Park. Near lots of restaurants and shopping. Air conditioning is strong, staff is friendly and decent small pool. Cons: breakfast is very mediocre with barely any options. If you stay more than 2 days it will get very boring. Biggest con is housekeeping barges in without announcing it or knocking so put your door chain on! Room on first floor had ants.

So many thing wrong with this location. Terrible service, no linen service until you ask 3 times, front desk knows nothing about the neighborhood and Lucas, the night manager is rude and should not be in hospitality. Also looks like a druggie, very unkept. Lastly, I made a 8 day reservation with a third party service but the hotel cut my stay to 6 days while charging for 8. I will be stopping payment on credit card. The breakfast food was mediocre but the breakfast people were very nice.

Well.. I was just a guest in this location. My best friend and I needed to get away and just have a break from reality. She got the room. It had a king size bed with a bathroom, small kitchenette with a fridge that blocked most of the circuit breaker box… can someone tell me why their aren’t any fans in the bathroom?! Just curious!! 🤣 The room was clean, had 2 TVs. The sofa turned into a bed and my bf said that it was actually comfortable to sleep on. The swimming pool is small. Has a fitness and business rooms - same hallway as the pool. There is free breakfast. I was turned away because there was a long hair in my eggs!! I didn’t want to take a chance on that. The guy in the kitchen took away the eggs. The coffee is decent. OJ is good. Waffles were missing something but not too bad for a free breakfast. My bf and I picked the wrong spot to sit to eat. Right by the doors that we didn’t realize was busy with foot traffic. Employees were nice. Almost a perfect stay minus the eggs incident. Probably would come back here again. Close to restaurants near by.

Update 8/31/23: Hilton did NOT respond until I sent a second email Their response was that since they gave me a comparable rate at a different hotel, that should have been an acceptable response. They don't feel that anything else (including addressing the rude and disrespectful behavior) is necessary. If you want to receive the respect you deserve when choosing a hotel, remember #NOT Hilton Hotels! This is absolutely NOT a hotel I would recommend. I would love to give a negative 5 stars to this hotel. We booked at this hotel because we were attending an event that was being held at the hotel. We reserved a room with 2 beds, 5 months in advance. We arrived at the hotel and was given a room with 1 bed. When we asked to be given the room we booked, we were told the "manger changed it today or some other day" and there were no other rooms available. When I asked for a manager to try and find a resolution, the person at the desk said he was the only person at the entire hotel and no one was available. Hilton could NOT have hired a more impolite, discourteous, unpleasant, and uncaring, person to greet customers. His horrible attitude, condescending tone, and terrible demeanor were absolutely ridiculous. Needless to say, we changed hotels.

It was nice but housekeeping needs to do better! I did not appreciate having to ask for my room to be cleaned three times then had to leave my room and wait for them to FINALLY clean it! I called the night before, the morning of when I was told they would be there at 10 am. We left and came back at 3 and it was still NOT CLEANED! I was LIVID!! That was when I made my THIRD attempt by going directly to the desk and speaking to an associate! We sat by the murky pool for an hour while they cleaned the room. When we got back to the room a dirty towel was left in the shower and the cleaning solution was left on the stove! I took pictures which I will upload on TripAdvisor and Google along with my review. Now for the pool. I had every intention of getting in and enjoying the water but it was cloudy! I stood outside the door around 9 am, not believing what I was seeing then the pool guy came out with a hand full of solutions. I asked him was he cleaning it because it looked cloudy and he said yes, he just put the solution in it. I asked why it looked like that and he said someone must have done something in the water the night before. His voice went low so I couldn't hear exactly what he said but it was enough to know I was not getting in! If you read this post in its entirety then you know that whatever solution the guy put in the pool at 9 am did NOT work, due to it STILL being murky/cloudy at 3-4 pm! Disgusting to say the least! My final complaint is we asked for and were given a late checkout. I guess the front desk did not communicate that with housekeeping because they tried opening the door at 11 am sharp! Imagine that! They were "on time" to get us out of the room but not on time to do their job! We told them we had a late checkout and she barely understood due to not speaking English. She eventually understood and left. We were truly ANNOYED by this!

I had to run the water for 15 minutes to get hot water on my day. Also when I put the sheets back it was a red nasty stain. They look like Food or appear to be blood. I’m sure of what it was I just got to the hotel when I realized it I did call housekeeping and they were able to bring me new sheets they didn’t clean my room that day while I was gone that Tues but on wed my room was made up. The room was nice I would love to book again but the nasty sheets and cold water is a no go for me

I traveled to the Chicago area on January 3rd for business. I reserved to rooms for the business group. To my dismay I had no hot water in my suite. Adding insult to injury the management team of Parker and operations manager refused to reimburse me for my room...Steer clear of here...no one tells the truth and they have no concern for the customer.

The rooms are clean but there was no soap at the sink by the bathroom plus our room had some pet hair on the table and sofa bed. And I don’t know why the room service do not clean rooms every morning i stayed there for 4 nights and the room wasn’t cleaned one time.

I enjoyed my stay! Since Covid-19 the hotel has rebounded. I will definitely return. My name was personalized on both televisions 📺.

1st stay her. Great central location for Orland Park. Big convenient parking right outside. Very spacious room/suite with pretty well equipped kitchenette, huge fridge and quite weird coffee maker (and no kettle). Big comfortable bed. A fan in the bathroom would have been useful. A safe in the closet would have been nice to have. Furniture is pretty functional. The AC rattles and is very noisy. There was an event location outside my window..and the party was loud and long. Breakfast was ok, but minimalistic. Please get rid of all plastic cuttlery & paper plates. What a waste! It's the 21st century. Come on! Turndown service only every 5 days?

Reserved a room with a roll in shower for a handicapped family member. Reservation email clearly stated the reservation was for a queen mobility/hearing access with roll in shower but when we checked in we were given a regular room with a tub/shower combination. Check in person then argued that we did not reserve that room and that the room could not be reserved. Website clearly shows this room and provides ability to reserve. Very unprofessional behavior and incredible lack of knowledge of own services. They graciously agreed to refund our room cost (yes, that is sarcasm). We have stayed here multiple times in the past due to the location but will not be back again. I would love to hear from the hotel management and share our details

Nice hotel. The staff keep the place very clean. The breakfast buffet is decent and includes all the basics. The rooms are nice. My room had a nice kitchennete - I would think all rooms did. The fitness center is small but has the essentials. Water bottles were provided in the fitness room and a sign showed that disposable headphones were free of charge at the front desk. The only issue is that you have to request for the room to be refreshed. Other than that, very nice stay.

Really nice hotel.. it was a clean and spacious suite. The kitchenette was great to have, and the pull out couch for a guest was good to have

I had to find a place that would take my dogs and Compton did that but they were rude about it. We stayed there for two days and the lady after I checked out charge my credit card 75 extra dollars because of dog hair. Now when I stayed there, I brought my own spray chemicals so I can clean the bathroom the floor And I put everything in order so it’s easier for them to clean the room. I do it every hotel I stay at yet this lady still decided to do that. She was a complete disgrace. Yeah they stayed at your hotel for three days and nights, and the room was not charged one nickel extra . People love their dogs and they appreciate people that are good to them. If you have dogs, do not bring them to Compton in Tinley Park.

It's a nice place with a few odd quirks. For one, the bathroom has no fan. How is that up to code? No safe in the closet. Both odd and worrisome. The room actually has an electric range, which is neat, but there's no toaster or toaster oven, which would be arguably more useful in a hotel. What kind of person, who cooks for themselves on vacation, stays in a Hilton anyway? I'm here on business, and I wasn't given a choice of hotels. There's no bathtub either, which I guess is becoming the norm for people who hate relaxing. It's a very nice place with nice furniture, but cheaper places typically offer more.

They had complimentary milk and cookies every evening in the foyer. The staff - both over the phone and at the desk - were very helpful and friendly, and made me feel very welcome at a time when I couldn't be with my family.

Nice as always 👌! I really like the Home2 Suites. They are my goto location in the Hilton chain of hotels! I travel a lot and these are by far the best! I know that it sounds lame like a paid advertising but seriously if you don't believe me then book a night and find out for yourself. I highly recommend it!

Enjoyed our weekend stay here, the hotel is incredibly clean. Cleaning staff is friendly but front desk staff not so much. Rooms are tiny but efficient.

Upon arrival there was earth shattering noise surrounding my room on the top/4th floor due to work being done on the roof, fortunately I was going out for the evening, BUT, the horrific noise started up again & BEFORE 10am, fortunately I had to be up to work, this maintenance should have been mentioned on the website as well as upon check-in & most definitely should not have been started prior to 11am.....And a guest was making a complaint on a maintenance man for walking into his room without knocking, or being invited in & was asking to be switched to another hotel, the computer/machine to make key cards for the rooms was down, they only have a small # of luggage carts, I was unhappy to be assigned to a wheelchair accessible room (422), the section of the floor without carpeting was sticky & 1 of the bathroom sink knobs was loose....I did like the kitchenette, the appliances, sitting area furniture & the king size bed, but for some reason, with the hotels in this chain, housekeeping does NOT wipe off tops of refrigerators..... lastly, there is a thermostat control in the bedroom, BUT, it didn't work, I had to actually operate it from the old school air conditioner under the window, the 1 in the sitting area worked well though........

When we got to the room we were welcomed by a large machine sitting on the counter trying to de-fumigate the room due to the horrible odor of cigarette smoke in the room. It was unbearable to breathe. I went to the front desk to let them know and the front desk guy stated “oh house keeping was supposed to take that out”. First, this is a non-smoking room and there is cigarette smoke lingering in the room. Second, you try to cover it up with a machine that de-fumigates the room. If I am paying for a non-smoking room I don’t want to breathe in carcinogens that I don’t put into my body in the first place. Then the guy stated that there was no other room available in the hotel. At that point I was beyond frustrated since I booked the hotel in February for a wedding and there wasn’t any resolution to the problem. He said we can either stay in that room or leave and he will do his best to make sure I don’t have to pay. We decide to leave and not sleep in a smoke filled room. I got the bill today and was not charge but I’m extremely disappointed and unhappy with this situation.

We traveled here from Colorado and loved this place. Really nice without the snobbiness of other hotels in the price range. They allowed our two dogs for a small charge. That was huge to us, it's difficult to travel with pups. The staff was great, breakfast was great, very clean, outlets for charging everywhere in the junior suite. It comfortably fit a family of 4 and two dogs. It had glasses, silverware and every essential in the kit hen. Very pleased and will be seeking out homewood suites on future travels. Thank you to the staff and management.

If i could give this place a zero i would. Horrible front seat. A blond women who was rude and damining over the phone and in person. Not to mention the “manager” on site was a point size jerk. He didn’t have anything to say other then what the lady in the front desk had already called and actually cried about. The pool was out of clouded majority of the stay. People running around each night smoking and drinking (yelling throughout the hotel) i would be cautious when booking here. There were some nice perks (a kitchen without any amenities including a fire extinguisher. Also a fire alarm text where the people of the hotel we Lee to enter the room. Overall, we were very disappointed.

At first glance this hotel seemed nice and clean, however when I woke up in the morning I found a cockroach in my bathroom. I was able to take a video and show it to the front desk, who told me that a manager would come down to my room shortly. After waiting 30 minutes I received a phone call from the front desk informing me that there would be no hotel management on site due to the holiday, but one would call me to discuss the refund I requested. I have now called on two separate occasions asking to speak with management, only to be informed that my information had been passed on to hotel management and they would contact me at their convenience. Not only did I pay $250 for one nights stay, but I also had to throw away all of our food, and have our belongings bug bombed. Do not stay at this hotel, and do not be fooled by what appears to be a clean, upscale setting. The person at the front desk was very kind and understanding, but obviously he is the only one who cares, as management seems to have disregarded my complaint.
