Second time trying this restaurant and the food was just okay, I've had much better. I ordered szechuan beef dinner and the portion size is at best a lunch portion. I was also disappointed with the lack of beef, they load up on the vegetables. The location is convenient but I don't think that I will eat there again.

We had Mongolian beef, combination fried rice and a side fried noodles. Food was good. Reason why it's 3 stars are language barrier, unaccomodating staff and physical store is small-only 1 table good for 3 chairs for dine in, 3 chairs on counter top and no rest room.

I used to order beef from them every week for 3 months. Then when I wanted to try chicken the portions of meat were super small

Tried this place, because of a discount and a free item. Tried a few new items and some old favorites. Everything was fresh and tasty. Everything we got, we went larger or dinner level. It was way worth it. We have had enough for 2 dinners, each, and lunch too. The fried wonton was perfect, the vegetable egg foo young was the best we've had in a long time.

I used to love this place and I have no idea what happened. The fried rice had zero flavor. Orange chicken was not good. Panda Express is better. So mad because I did enjoy their food. 🙁

This was our first time to try this restaurant. We ordered Shrimp Lo-mein, salt and pepper smelt. The noodles is flavorful but the fish dish is overcooked, hard and dry compared to the picture on the menu. No vegetable garnish too. Unfortunately can’t recommend to try salt and pepper smelt to anybody to avoid disappointment.

The guy at the front is really bad with customers. You guys gotta teach him how to talk with respect. If he does not like the job tell him he can leave. Him leaving is much better than your customers not coming back. Tell him to leave that section 8 behaviour back home.

Well...I went to Chen's because I happened to see it the one day when i was doing business in the Plaza across the street...I am a funny person about Chinese takeaway...before i can actually order off the full menu...I must first try out their egg rolls...if they pass my test...then my next visit is to start trying different items on the menu... The egg rolls were nice and crispy ...and the filling was kind of shredded so it blended really nice together....very tasty... The atmosphere was very cute...some nice plants and statues...and the woman who was waiting on us...was very friendly...and she was also involved in the making up of orders being filled...anyways...it was a very nice experience...very clean...and even had a teeny seatng counter too ....and I took a menu home to checkout for r next visit there...the menu looks spectacular....and we cannot wait to go back and give it a try...hope all of u also have a great experience there too....much luv...k

I wanted to try a different Chinese spot, and came here. I ordered a small shrimp fried rice and beef fried rice (and yes they are small). The shrimp were a nice size, however both were bland and lacked flavor. Usually soy sauce is an added touch, but I had to use more than usual. I will return to give the classic rolls a try. Customer service was 👍🏽

Food was alright, but the Delivery Driver was the best! Even held my hallway door open for me so I could check my mail. Make sure he gets all his tips! He's worth every penny, even more.

I work close by and get lunch here sometimes. The crazy hot potato rolls are a great vegetarian option and the smoothies are always delicious and fresh.

Ordered KungPao chicken. Worst food I've had. A few days later I ordered the same food from ichiban on Harlem at 102nd. I couldn't stop eating it. Spend the extra time driving and order from Ichiban. You won't be disappointed

Review Update: FOOD NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY. I dropped this review to a 2 from a 5 and its because I'm being nice. This used to be my favorite place to go and order in with my family. THEY HAVE BECOME SO INCREDIBLY CHEAP!!! This is something I have been consistently seeing over the past year, but today I placed a $90 order and barely received adequate food. If you have any roe, tobiko, or masango on your maki rolls they put two eggs on each piece. Charged me extra for tapioca and then put 5 balls in. Asked for a small side of shrimp, they charged me 5 dollars for 8 pieces of shrimp that didnt even fill half the small side container. and didnt give me two of the boxes of rice that came with my order. I put up with it a few times trying to be understanding, it appears to be family owned. However it just gets worse and worse. I found a new favorite place and will be ordering there from now on and placing a charge back on this scarce order of food. New place is cheaper and actually gives you what they tell you, you are paying for. Lessoned learned, Good Bye Chens

I have worked next door to this restaurant forever and never knew they had sushi!!! It's really good, 5 BIG pieces for $8 is basically like getting them from Mariano's but FRESH. Also the egg rolls are always crunchy and super good

Great every time. Expect longer wait times during dinner hours on weekends, just like anywhere else. Don’t cry about it.

The lady that’s always at the register is always rude to me . I believe she is racist . Every time I come in and ask for extra sweet and sour or even just a spoon . She throws it at me or when I make a comment she responds with “ What ?” Instead of saying excuse me . The food is really good but the customer service is horrible .

Chen's House is hands down the best spot for Chinese food in the area. Never had a bad order from them and their Orange Chicken is amazing.

It was my first time visiting this Chinese restaurant. I thought their food was very good and enjoyed a lot. Although I asked for a chicken lo mein I got a vegetarian lo mein, no problem. I enjoyed it even though I asked for chicken. Speak up when ordering with the mask on, I think she didn’t hear me say CHICKEN lo mein. Food was good vegetarian style. I also ordered a shrimp fried rice and avocado smoothie. I do recommend on going to this place. I like it a lot. That’s just my opinion. Good luck!

I ordered shrimp friend rice. They gave me old rice it smelled like old dirty cooking oil. You can tell it was old food. It had a piece over cook egg in it that was gray in color. The smell was so bad it turned my stomach. I returned the food. I will Never Never go there again!!!!!

One of the owners or wife hit my parked car and kept denying it after it literally took off the paint. She walked away and brought her husband out to talk to me just to keep blaming me. I wouldn't have made a deal about it but she was being rude off the bat. I was visiting the location next to it.

Ordered the extra large seafood fried rice and there was barely any seafood. The large usually have tons of seafood which is why I ordered extra large for my guests. They have lost a customer!!!

Had fried rice which was delicious. The orange tofu looked like chicken and it tasted awesome!! I haven't had a bad order yet and have tried a lot of their menu.
