First time here and the service was too quick. So fast that they left items off my bagel. I ordered a spinach omelet bagel we which comes with bacon and my bacon was left out. I paid almost $10 for for fake eggs, excessive cheese and no bacon. (I did add a side of cream cheese) YOU NEVER GET A SECOND CHANCE TO MAKE A GOOD FIRST IMPRESSION!

I 've went there today and bought some bagel three of them where unbaked like raw inside .this is the second time it happened .Some of the bagels there were totally light color idk know why they not baking them all like they suppose to .those are sesame bagels and one for comparison how they supposed to look like .

I went in yesterday to pick up an order and the worker that called out the customer’s name for the order was super rude. I’m not sure if it was racial profiling or she was mad because she had to work. Either way she was super rude to me on front of other customers. There’s a certain way you talk to people. Poor Communication.

I had the chicken pesto Panini and it was so gooooood!!! Juicy the chicken was seasoned perfectly. First time trying this place and it’s a 10/10

Heard great things from my neighbors about Great American Bagel restaurant in Oak Lawn, sadly customer service there let me down today. There was at least 5 staff behind the counter who I assumed was busy so I walked to the register and waited to be acknowledged then another customer walked in and one of the staff members greeted the customer that walked in after me so I brushed it off and stood behind that person then I ordered a southwest chipotle chicken wrap for myself and 2 other breakfast items for my husband. When I got home I took a bite out of the wrap and noticed a long strand of hair on the inside. I spit out what was in my mouth then lost my appetite as well as my husband since he was sitting next to me.

Freshly & Daily Baked Bagels. This Place is Awesome and the inside is a comfortable environment & the staff Is very Helpful & Friendly. I highly recommend this Location if you love your bagels on the go or for Eating in 🥯

The best fresh bagels🥯 ever!!! I order the baker's dozen once a month on Wednesday. I freeze 3 in a ziplock bag and take one out every week. My family loves them...especially the Asiago cheese.

Very upscale, the food is awesome with a wide variety of healthy choices an those SMOOTHIES ARE OFF THE METER😃 its like I don't know what too order...lol😂 usually I order the chipotle 🍗 wrap or the cheddar bagel with the ham and turkey, lettuce,tomato an cheese💥💥💥 The milkshakes OMG😮😮😮😮😃😃😃WOW! very nice place family oriented that welcomes us as customers is a great American thing...thank you...❤

Sandwiches were okay but come on is a ‘food service place’ all the girls had really long nails they can’t even grab things properly, dont get me wrong i love nails they look good but when you work managing food is very unsanitary.

This place gets worse & worse every time I order. They never follow special instructions & always screw up the order! It used to never be like this. Not sure of there's someone new making the bagels but you're better off going to Jewel & getting fresh bagels & cream cheese at least you know it'll be correct. And delivery through Grub Hub takes FOREVER!

Love this place! My favorite is their Lox and cream cheese on a bagel. I also like to buy the hard bagel dog bones for my fur babies.

I came to the website to write a review. I have been patronizing this Oak Lawn GAB for years. I stopped coming for awhile, about 2 years ago because of the service. My daughter lives in Frankfort; so when I had cravings for GAB I drove out to the one in Frankfort, on LaGrange Rd. Today, I decided to stick close to home, and gave Oak Lawn another try. Food was good as always; and Talan went above & beyond with his customer service skills! I can only hope that the whole staff is NOW as pleasant & accommodating as Talan.

I bought 13 bagels,4 different spreads, breakfast sandwich and coffee for my office. For what I spent, they couldn't slice my bagels or toast it. Better off going to DD.

First time experience at this location was extremely unprofessional, unpleasant, they deserve a huge negative zero for customer service. Every person I encountered except one young lady, were all rude & unprofessional. They are in a rush, mess up a $50 order, had to go drive allllll the way back only to encounter more rude ppl. Will not be returning to this location. There should be an option for zero stars.

My hometown GAB! They are soo nice! They make an AMAZING tuna melt on a jalepeno cheddar bagel! I sub out the american cheese for provolone instead. So good! Great fresh brewed iced tea too! From experience, they also are so generous to their local community with donations. LOVE.

Ordered a denver bagel and 3 toasted bagels, mentioned cream cheese 3 times and still didnt receive the cream cheese... Ridiculous. Had to door dash extra bagels with cream cheese.

First time here and before the rush and long lines! This place is highly recommended to order from. I ordered a turkey sausage on with egg and cheese on everything bagel. DELICIOUS. Definitely will be returning.

One of my favorites placed in Oak Lawn IL. Stopped on my way home from Midway. Always great service. Clean bathroom is a must for me and this place delivers. Even recognized a few faces from when I lived there. It was nice to hear loyal customers called by name. Stop by for food with a smile.

When I crave bagels, this is where I go. Store bought bagels just can't compare. So many varieties of bagels both sweet and savory, and when toasted they develop a crispy exterior with a soft chewy interior. The house-blended cream cheese is also amazing. I recommend apple cinnamon cream cheese on a French toast bagel and vegetable cream cheese on a plain toasted one. Delicious every time.

This was my first time trying The Great American Bagel and was disappointed in the food. The bagels were good but I didn't realize they use fake eggs for their sandwiches and was trying to get something better than Dunkin Donuts. The staff here were friendly and hustling through the orders though.

Wow! I love this location! I have been to several American Bagels - this place is always moving. Kim & her crew is so friendly & efficient. The line always moves quickly! They have served us all so well through this covid mess. They support our first responders. I come to this location 4-5 days a week. I have no idea what the complaints are about?? This place is awesome. Some are probably competitors trolling them.

I love their bagels and delicious flavors of cream cheese over anyplace else!! I drive out of my way just to get them.

The inside is clean. They were super polite and nice. I had to cancel my online order ( thought I would be late to work)There was no issue at all when I called to do so. After finding out the store wasn't that far from my job, I decided to walk in and order. They were very accommodating regarding my large order and gave service with a smile 😃 Oh and the bagels were a hit at the office. Will definitely order again!
