Financial Aid Staff are unprofessional and inappropriate. my daughter is going to summer school and is having every object put in her path because financial aid made a few mistakes not only did they make a mistake they refuse to own to it and turned to blaming it on my daughter who has written proof that it was in fact their mistake. They then try to disencourage her speaking to her in condescending inappropriate unprofessional ways consistently trying to indirectly insult her intelligence they are lazy and would rather run her around in circles to different departments than doing the work themselves especially the woman named Linda. Linda even went as far as when she saw my daughter in person in school today when my daughter went in for help Again proceeded to tell my daughter that she recognized her from the previous phone calls did not let her speak out her finger in her face and instead of helping continued to insult and speak extremely degrading manner to make it worse there were many other students there so she humiliated my child in front of an audience a grown woman clearly in a midlife crisis, again her name is Linda from financial aid, literally started to argue with a young freshman in college and did not help her she actually turned her away and my daughter came home in literal tears! Crying her eyes out from the staff Linda of financial aid that is supposed to be there the administrative staff thats position is to be there to assist our children in reaching a successful future is the same staff that’s sending home my daughter in tears. I went to moraine myself and got extreme attitude and disrespect myself disgusting that this is going on this long and don’t bother speaking to rose the manager she’s just as rude. mind you the attitude started while we were trying to explain what went wrong so that we could fix it there was no blaming we completely understand that people make mistakes it was their attitude right away saying it’s not their fault and trying to blame my daughter when she had proof they wouldn’t even give her one moment of respect to speak until I had to get on the phone a few times so the fact that they did this in person in front of an audience is absolutely out of pocket I will not stop until this woman Linda spoken to.

Experiencing the Mystical Arts of Tibet Tour and spending time with Lama's from Drepung Loseling Monestary at Moraine Valley was amazing! They created a beautiful sand mandala of Akshobya Buddha and performed Buddhist chanting and monastic debate demonstrations in the auditorium. They even taught a short class on Tibetan Buddhism. Very cool!

Don’t go to this scam house the worst experience of my whole life had to pay out of pocket for classes I wasn’t supposed to take then a2 weeks after i started classes i decided to drop off so instead of giving me my money back they asked to pay the full amount of it when I drop classes . That shows you this scam house don’t care about you or ur future but money

Registration and billing admin seem to not really care. I was transferred back and fourth between the two departments 4 times on the same call because they said the other department was the only one who could help and when transferred over everyone seemed so confused and no one cared to help me with a simple emailing of a receipt and in the end nothing was resolved.

The school itself is beautiful and I’ve had nothing but positive experiences in my classes, BUT my experience with the financial aid office has been so awful that it completely overshadows any good this school has to offer. They are entirely unhelpful when it comes to the reduction of income appeals. They have you running in circles for months despite calls, emails and in person visits. No one is ever on the same page and they intentionally make it extremely difficult to get additional financial assistance.

The students are ridiculous the college is ok. You can't associate with anyone. It's not the instructors fault that students don't wanna learn. There needs to be a better education system.

Students are from different ethnicities tend to stick to their own groups. I found it very difficult to get to know anyone bc of this. Most people are quite cold here.. As for as education SOME professors care but the admins and financial and student advisory office people are beyond rude. The students that help in the offices are also extremely rude. Honestly I did not like the overall experience and am glad I left when I did.

Police Officers on campus give a comfortable feeling. The path around the campus is 1.5 miles. I obtained my G.E.D here while passing the Constitution test. Good vibes 👍

The instructors are knowledgeable and they offer great flexibility, but some of the registration and other admind just seem lazy. They always seem to be working from home, and you can hear other distractions while trying to speak to them one on one. Not only that, none of them seem to go above and beyond anymore. I hope they make some changes for the future generations.

Its a great community college. Great large rooms to have workshops

Nice school. Clean, easy to get to from all directions. The Fit Rec center is nice. The only thing that's wrong with this is that there's a teacher in the foreign language department that is unfair, rude extremely judgemental. Because of her actions and lack of following her own directions I am considering going to a different college even though I'd have to pay out of district fees. Me and some of my fellow classmates are tired of her attitude. Also, because of her that program has low enrollment and people have dropped out in the middle of the semester. I'm sure that if they were to fire her the answer she would say is that "I created this program, and now it's going to be gone without me. " There's only a few more months of this semester, thank God.

A beautiful and clean college. A wonderful gym with available classes, pool, and all sorts of exercise equipment, cute coffee shops in certain buildings and the library is huge. I have probably only had 1 bad teacher here and that’s out of like 20. The programs are nice and affordable.

Extraordinary place. The people are so friendly and soooo helpful. As an international student they have helped me in every way possible.

It appears to be a well planned out community junior college. Plenty of parking, but you have to walk a mile to anywhere.

Do not go here if you plan on taking the CGI program. The “professor” Richard Lapidus who’s in charge of the degree program literally belittles all the students on their projects and barely helps when you ask for help. On top of that he doesn’t teach anything in his class that’s on the final but he has a lot to say about his opinion on the Liberal perspective on everything that’s political. If I wanted to take a political science class I would registered, this is a computer graphics course. Instead he post videos of all the assignments because he’s too lazy to teach in class with no volume and the instruction never makes sense because he doesn’t take the time to read and reread what he post. You’ll learn 100% more if you look up adobe programs on YouTube and follow the tutorials. This was the biggest waste of money on a degree and I wouldn’t recommend this degree to anyone it’s literally 10 years behind on what’s actually being used in companies like Sony, Pixar, and Disney.

Went for a show, "Take 5." They were awesome and the theater was very nice.
