After reading so many 5star ratings i went here in Dec22 vacation,If you clearly read the ratings and their commens you will come to know all those are fake reviews. To be frank guys one of the worst ever experience i had here, worst room, totally unhygienic, lots of cockroach inside the room, the photo what they shows in the google and the reality both are totally different.. also the location is too far after the google location ends, really scary place, no proper booking system, after i did all the bookings simply that care taker asked extra amount to stay, and unnecessary changing the rooms, we did not had any other options, because we went in the peak time so stayed here, No hot water available No bathing towel provided No tooth paste, soap provided No proper fan, given table fan which is not working No proper blankets provided, the given one was too much dirty and having bad smell, Lots of dogs barking over the night, difficult to get sleep. No proper car parking available Care taker doesn't talk properly, he only knows local language, very difficult to communicate with them Please please avoid this place to stay, this is truly genuine review after all my experience had here in kaithakkal cottage and rooms

A great hotel nested in middle of dense Cardamom Plantation. It really makes you fell you are in a forest. The sound of the birds and nature were a highlight of our stay. We stayed for three nights and the room and restaurant were great. Be careful there aren’t a lot of food options around the hotel so the restaurant is your only option . The hospitality is great and everyone at the hotel greets you with a smile when ever they see you. They are available to help you or answer your any of your questions. Really had a great stay at the Kaithakkal Rooms & Cottage and would definitely recommend.

Stayed at Kaithakkal Rooms & Cottage for 3 N/4 D last week. Wonderful experience I should say. Very good location with easy WALKABLE access to restaurants & shops near by. The Host was very polite, well mannered gentlemen who made sure we are comfortable and safe all the time. Would visit again definitely

I had an incredible stay at Kaithakkal Rooms & Cottage, Rajakkad The staff was extremely welcoming and attentive to all my needs, and the facilities were top-notch. The room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The hotel's location is fantastic beauty of Cardamom. highly recommend trying out the breakfast buffet, it was one of the best I've had in a long time. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Kaithakkal Rooms & Cottage, and I can't wait to return. Highly recommended!

Very Good Rooms, Neat & Clean

So wish we had used our 2 days as planned. Great hotel, super service, fab amenities. Absolutely loved our 1st stay here. The family is already planning for a lengthier revisit. Fab breakfast! Excellent location etc. but what stands out is the clear and refined quality of their product. Thoroughly loved our visit , I Recomended

This is a great location_ on the Rajakad, close to market places and easily accessible. Gateway is probably one of the GreatRelevent Cottage in this area and it shows on the infrastructure. However it is reasonably well maintained. Rooms with Mountain view would be great to stay in. Staff is efficient and always willing to help you.

Gateway Hotel on the Rajakad is a very well appointed hotel occupying best location on the prime property at Rajakad. The staff was courteous and place well managed. The rooms are good but can be little better. I would recommend it to those coming here full heartedly
