Visited here for the Christmas winter wonderland with the kids. The set up was brilliant. Kids loved it and it was nice having a wander around at the displays around the store as well. All in all it was a fun hour or so. Only downside I would say (which is why only 4 stars is given and not 5) is the quality of the gift received for my kids for the price paid. My youngest got a horse and rider set, which fell apart as it came out the package. Most of it is now in the bin unfortunately. Other than that the evening was fine.

Lovely garden centre, lovely little cafe, & the outdoor area for children is lovely - chickens, ducks & goats. Definitely worth the trip out!

Due to queuing traffic around lunch time we spotted the garden centre sign and took a detour ro Stewarts. Plenty of parking, lovely garden centre, super restaurant. Good choice of food, very well organised restaurant, friendly staff, really made to feel welcome. Tasty food was just what we needed.

Went to visit Santa and was a lovely experience - the team were brilliant. Not sure whether we missed little bag with the activity pack whether broomhill stopped doing them? Christchurch gave us a red and white bag with an activity pack when we went there to see Santa two days prior to our visit to Broomhill. Really like the selfie station, only thing is the sleigh was really muddy and dirty. May be a good idea for the team to keep an eye and try to make sure it's kept presentable? Popped into the cafe for a coffee. We ordered a latte, a flat white and a babyccino. Annoyingly whoever made the drinks overfilled the cups so when they were brought to our table, the saucers were filling up with over flow coffee. Even the lady who brought them to us said that the person who made the drinks overfilled them. Maybe something to feed back to the cafe? I also brought the 3 bath bombs for £10, they are lovely but was there supposed to be a box offered if you buy the 3? I'm sure I saw that was an option at the Christchurch branch. I may be going mad and seeing things, but if by chance I'm not, maybe some consistency across the sites would be good. Would of liked a box to pop them in to keep them in tact. Anyhow, really enjoy visiting Broomhill, we look forward to visiting again soon.

Ordered 1 x vegan, and 1 x veggie, gluten free, lactose free afternoon tea for myself and my friend and the staff could not have been more helpful, it was delicious and filling!

Quality plants - we've never had a duff plant from Stewarts - though, naturally, you therefore may find prices a wee bit higher than elsewhere. Good, tasty food at the cafe with some wholesome and inventive mains including vegetarian options Good sized portions too. There are cheap eats available - I've had one of yesterday's cut price scones before now and enjoyed it. Useful recycling facilities for old plastic pots and compost bags.

Limited menu but what I had was very tasty and this is best way to achieve that. Cakes are fabulous. All your inside and outside gardening needs catered for and lots of interesting nik naks to tempt you.

Relaxing garden centre in a village setting. Good range of plants. Resturant serving main meals and snacks. Ample parking. Well worth a visit.

Visited with family for lunch. Staff very helpful by moving two tables together. Food was very good. Then we all bought a lovely Dhalia.

Have always visited twice a week but have noticed standards slipping. Often a long wait, the teapots are just filthy which is not acceptable, especially for green tea. Also the cafe is very drafty.

Very nice nursery, a little out if the way for us and can be a little expensive, but everything is of very good quality. Parking easy, staff friendly and helpful. We visited the cafe, not a big range, but all food was of a high standard. We had toasted sandwiches, which comes with a large portion of skin on fries, salad and coleslaw, delicious.

We love Stewart's at Holt and often visit even if we don't want to buy anything because it's so pleasant. Yesterday we met old friends in the restaurant for lunch. My wife and I ordered the one course Christmas lunch at £14.95, which sounded very good, and of course, seasonal. Unfortunate choice! The whole meal was a disaster! The vegetables were way overcooked, roast potatoes dark brown and unappetising, vegetables boiled to death and the meat was tasteless . I would have returned the two meals as uneatable and chosen something simpler if we had been alone, but didn't want to embarrass my friends. Our first bad experience at Stewart's! I'm adding this as an edit. I had an email following my copy of this review which I sent in. A sincere apology was received by me, together with a voucher refunding the full amount which I had paid for the meals. I couldn't ask for more than this, and my faith in Stewart's has been restored,! Thank you! ❤️

Well run restaurant, friendly efficient staff, delicious coffee and cake and food. Good Covid procedures and the garden centre has a great variety of things to look at both inside and out.

Nice garden centre in an excellent location. It's a bit more out of town than Haskins so you don't get the hoards flocking to the café and jamming the carpark. There is plenty of parking and a good selection of plants and other paraphernalia associated with gardening. The café has plenty of seating and a reasonable selection for most tastes at reasonable prices. The order at the counter and receive a tag for delivery system was very efficient. Beware cash users it's card only. The food was very nice, pie of the day was a proper pie and full of meat and the quiche was well packed with filling. Been to a few Stewart's and they never disappoint.

Today we visited the cafe in Stewart’s we ordered two bacon sandwiches which were an astounding £6.75 each!!!! Nice garden centre but the cafe is a place to be avoided….come on Martin Stewart you really need to review these prices.

Lovely young girl named Rosie. She helped, enquired and checked when I wanted to buy a Bee Home. A great asset to your garden centre and Team. Very personable. This was today 29th December. 5 stars.

My elderly father and I went to the cafe. He chose tea and cake . I unfortunately do not have a sweet tooth. Having a limited budget I only wanted something small and savoury. The only thing available was a large and overcooked cheese scone. I did not want tge cream cheese and chutney it came with but was told the price would be the same ! I was told the other option was sandwiches at £8 plus. Nothing else such as a sausage roll ….. there is no call for them apparently, slice of quiche ….only as a meal. And why do cafes only do pots of tea and not pots coffee! Just felt the offering and service was poor.
