A nice fine dine place, with good ambience. Josh from the staff is very friendly and helpful when it comes to service. He has answered all our questions when we asked about the ingredients or food type. At the end he also walked to our table and asked about out experiences and took the feedback and also explained a few things on how it works for them. Food portion is less but it is tasty. Shan cracker, Shan rice and curry and also the Trin Rose Sagu was good in taste. They have tried to elevate the basic food items by adding a different element to it. Their Smoked Guava is a must try. The falafel soup was also good in taste they tried to make the soup spicy by adding bell papers to it which was a nice and subtle approach to spice the soup. Service is good and the food was served quickly too. In all it was a good experience. Josh kudos to all the good work that you are doing.

As curious food enthusiasts, we tried Burmese cuisine for the first time here, and I must say we weren't disappointed! Chicken dumplings were good, the Ambience is pleasant, service was excellent. Their speciality mutton dish was bursting with flavours! Lahpet chicken fried rice was also good..if you like the taste of fish soup, then try their Mohinga noodle soup! Liked their tangy home pickle too! Slightly on the expensive side for the portions served,..do give this place a try for their Burmese cuisine!

Fell in love with each & every dish. Everything here was a blissful experience. Whether you're a connoisseur of Burmese Cuisine or a curious food enthusiast, Societe Rangoon is a must-visit place.

We went on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and there were only a couple of occupied tables. Positives: 1) Really top-notch food and nice presentation 2) Good location on main road Negatives: 1) The ambience is a big let-down - it's like eating caviar in a KFC 2) MDH Chairs and tables are like we have in a study room. No cloth napkins but tissues tucked inside a cheap holder...lacks class and character.. 3) Poor service quality - plates along with cutlery were just placed before us and not even laid out after the food arrived...we had to manage ourselves.. In a nutshell, food is fabulous but everything else is a big let down considering the steep rate card.... Yes. We visited again last Saturday night for dinner and the service quality was poor, hence reduced the initial rating.

We enjoyed a nice group lunch at this Burmese restaurant. The restaurant is spacious with tastefully done interiors. The menu has a decent variety of dishes. We enjoyed the mushroom dumplings with curry sauce, mushroom rice & garlic noodles. The service was a tad slow but overall, we had a good experience. A shout-out to Awan for her courteous service.

This was my first attempt to savour Burmese cuisine and Societe Rangoon did not disappoint at all ! Located in a high street neighbourhood of Jayanagar, Societe Rangoon offers authentic Burmese cuisine in a soothing ambience. The food was delicious and really flavourful. Even the drinks (mocktails, tea) at this place were awesome. The desserts were also very good Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to try out Burmese food. We would be back for sure 😃

Great interiors, Friendly service Ambience: Excellent and very pleasing colors all around Food: The items ( Salad, Soup, Starters ) were high on salt and did not allow other flavours to be experienced. The feedback was received well and I appreciate it but it did not compensate for the salty experience. Further, The portions of the main course for too small for the money you are paying. Variety: Good Service: Friendly Price: low value of money scoring low on Taste and Portion Sizes. Expected a better experience.
