Ochre Bar and Kitchen is a culinary gem in the heart of Goa. Our gastronomic adventure began with the Dragon's Breath cocktail, a blend of gin and dragon fruit that set our senses aflame and left us eager for the culinary delights to come. The Masala Fish was a dance of flavors, with the kingfish marinated in a yogurt spice blend and pan-seared in coconut oil. The Meen Puvabaise was a seafood cocktail that was a celebration of the sea, simmered in a fragrant herb-broth. The dessert, Serradura Custard, was a creamy Portuguese pudding on top of a bed of crushed cookies, with a dusting of pistachios, a perfect ode to Goa. This place is a testament to the beauty of Franco-Tamil cuisine and a must-visit for all food enthusiasts.

Had an absolutely amazing experience at Ochre. The food was amazing and has a Pondicherry influence, which adds to the uniqueness of this place. The Kari Vada and the Fish Fry are incredible. The space is large and surrounded by greenery. It’s a great spot for lunch or a weekend dinner with friends and family. On weekends they also have live music which adds to the charm

I just found out about this offbeat restaurant cocooned within the trees in Sinquerim and I was intrigued. It's not often that you find garden restaurants in Sinquerim, and more so, one that serves up the flavours of Pondicherry! This serene little spot called has a Tamil-Franco menu that reflects the cuisine of Pondicherry - the erstwhile French colony in Tamil Nadu. So expect dishes like Podi Idli, Mustard Prawns, Beef Kari Vada, Pandi Fish Fry, Chicken Vadavam Curry, Pork Vindhai, Meen Puyabaise. And for those who come to Goa for seafood but have had enough of the rava-fries and coconut based curry, the food here will give you a break from the usual.
