I like the location and the pool. However as a solo traveller I cannot recommend this hostel. It is very difficult to meet other travellers, there is not much going on and very very difficult to sozialise. Just go to another hostel and simply come for the rooftop bar then. The beds are fine but not more (based on staying in two different rooms on two different occasions)

Selina Casco Viejo, is a very good quality hostel located very well in Panama City. There are many services on offer here, including restaurant, bar and tour guides. We enjoyed the walking tour and restaurant very much. The rooms are of good standard for hostel accommodation. There is a good young atmosphere here. It is worth noting the bars in the area are loud at night so expect to use ear plugs.

Great to party but there is no room in which the rooftop music cannot be heard. The kitchen is also in need of serious fixings and not appropriate for so many guests. Currently, only one small fridge is working and only one spoon can be found. I also wish this hostel would have a laundry room accessible for the guests for that price range. Finally, this hostel is lacking comfortable quiet outdoors spaces to hang out. Great place to party but not for a relaxing stay.

Great hotel. Lovely guest service. Everything in one place. The terrace is huge and the vibe is good. Their breakfast is so tasty! Highly recommended this place for a short or long stay. Well located! Good to note: weekends are noisy. There are djs and live music at the rooftop. The sound is high (same at every rooftop in Casco Viejo) so if you want to sleep early.. it’s not optimal :)

The rooftop is the best!! As always Selina is more expensive than others but you are located in a really nice area of Panama City with lots of cafes around and you can book many tours from the hostel. The bathrooms are quite dirty though and I stayed in 2 rooms of which one was really due to some maintenance and ambience.

Overall a nice hostel though there are cockroaches everywhere which could be easily fixed. Also, the elevators are not functioning properly. Lastly, the staff is very confused and there does not seem to be good communication between them.

Neighborhood problem, loud music until 3am. Zero respect for the area. Oh and management answers every comment the same but never changes anything.

We didn't stay here, but we stopped by for cocktails one evening on the roof top. The views from the roof top are amazing. And, the cocktails were tasty. Plus, the price was right! 😉 It was pretty crowded. There was no available seating. I'd suggest arriving early if you'd like to be seated. The age range seemed to be 20's to 30's. A good mix of males and females. The music was also really good.

This is THE ideal place to start your travel! You get to know a lot of people, it’s affordable, there’s a lovely atmosphere with only happy vibes, you can grab a bite, drink and enjoy the view and/or dance under the stars.. that’s why a lot of people from the city want to enter Selina’s rooftop. The breakfast was also delicious. Our stay had so many wonderful memories, we also ended our trip here!

The food was really tasty and the vibe immaculate. The night I went had live music. I enjoyed it thoroughly. The drinks were strong and good. Would definitely recommend. One of my favourite places in Panama.

Rooms are not clean. They are outdated. The rooms have a bad smell. Like moldy. The curtains have stains all over them. The floor is disgusting and dirty. I booked for 3 nights in a private room but ended up leaving the next morning, and going to a 5 star hotel down the road and the cost difference wasn’t that much different. I was on level 5, the music plays on the rooftop until about 2am throughout the night it is impossible to get any rest.

Lobby and rooftop are cool but you’ll have a terrible time sleeping because of the loud music every single night. There is a night club at the rooftop and on the ground floor so you’re literally a sandwich of fiesta. I could feel the sound in my pillow and had to sleep with my AirPods. Common kitchen is big but very dirty and unhygienic. The hostel is located in a weird street and as a solo female traveler I am scared to walk around by myself. Food is okay. Coffees are good though. Rooms are okay but walls are very thin I could listen to everything my neighbour was doing. Selina should renovate this hostel for sure. Don’t recommend for families or people who like quiet spaces.

The hostel is really good, although the pics are really different from what the rooms are, I'm sure they can be a bit cleaner, the only thing that really sucks is the loud music from the rooftop every night until 2 am, so if your room is next to the hallways and you go to bed early you might have a hard time falling asleep, also in the mornings the same thing with yoga , so if you wanna sleep till late you couldn't, the walking tour is great and the people at the front desk is really nice and helpful, basically the people there make the stay good but the hostel itself not much

There's a roof top bar on level 6 that stays open until after midnight and the ground floor is a night club until 3am. You guessed it, the rooms are right in the middle. There is nothing like a little doof doof to help you sleep. Don't worry about setting an alarm either. You get the early wake up with the yoga class right outside your room in the library - which is odd, I was always in trouble for making noise in mine at school. The kitchen's a joke. Sharing breakfast with anyone is out. There is only one bowl and coffee cup. I'd have a guess that one of the many resident cockroaches ate the others. I'm not sure what happens to the pots and pans either. Their previous life could be nothing other than a dead Knight's body armour. The staff were very considerate about our request to move rooms. Which we appreciated. I think they got a few noise complaints. The location is also perfect. It's a beautiful part of town and there is lots to see and do within walking distance as well as places to eat.

Super expensive, very unfriendly staff and super loud. They charge prices of a hotel and don't let you check in 1h earlier, they don't even check if the room is ready. The breakfast is a joke, the rooms look used up and it is very loud at night. You can get better places for less than half just around the corner! Don't stay at Selina.

I stayed for a couple of nights to explore Casco Viejo and was actually pleasantly surprised. I was fairly apprehensive about it given the reviews but found my room and stay fine overall. I stayed in the Standard and found the room spacious, though I do think the rooms/hotel in general could probably use a good deep cleaning. Despite the reviews about the noise, I didn’t find it to be too loud (could only hear it faintly every night) or disruptive to my sleep, though this may be attributed to the fact that I was there Sun-Tues which may have just been quieter at Selina in general.

Great, high end hostel with plenty of things to do for all kinds of interests. They also have many sister locations not just in Panama country, but other countries as well. Kobi, the walking tour guide, and Gabriel (the bearded wizard!) were just 2 of the awesome staff that work here!

  • 4/5 Ross H. 4 years ago on Google
Great views from the rooftop bar! Mix of both locals and tourists. The tacos were super tasty but cost $10 for 3 which was a bit much (paying for the view).

Selina hostels were recommended by another traveler and boy this one did not disappoint! I wasn’t an overnight guest but enjoyed an evening on the rooftop sipping mojitos and watching people dance salsa to the live band! I wish I would have had more time to enjoy the hostel longer! Great location, friendly staff, very cool environment

Had a great time at the hostel. beautiful and clean. lots of fun people and great cooking location. Koby's walking tour is a must do when you get here. it helps you find the good spots to visit and the nice areas. hes also super funny and has a great view of the city.

Super well located and the rooftop bar is awesome, for the view and the nice cocktails. It's a backpack place so noise comes with it! I guess I would have expected less noise choosing a single bedroom at that price, but being right under the rooftop bar didn't help... The room are clean and nice, just what you need for the night.

A place where the local goes, in the heart of the old town. Communal long table, comfortable sofa and couches, free Wi-Fi. Merchandises on display makes it an interesting space. In the heart of a touristy center, it is great to find trendy, local spirits and upscale local (1/3 if the touristy proves) prices on coffee, beers, and drinks. Good music in the background, yet a place you can still talk. Five stars for being what it is. Down to earth, genuine, relevant and convenient!

Good: The hostel was well located and had a spacious reception/bar area and a rooftop bar and (very small) pool with a nice view. Reception staff were helpful. The rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable enough. Bad: The shower was cold and there was no soap. I tried to order some tacos from the rooftop bar but was told I had to order them at another bar opposite, when I tried to do it there they said I had to order from a waitress, when I tried to order them from a waitress and explain I was sat by the pool, she did not understand. So I gave up and went to a nearby restaurant

Selina continues to amaze me! They have a great setup here, and they truly care for their customers. Kobi did an amazing job with making sure that we knew the best places in the area to go, and he was more than happy to show us great places to eat, drink and have a great time. Seriously, find him if you want to know the area! The Selina offered some great things during the week but the yoga isn't for beginners. There are some moves that can be difficult and may not live up to expectations. In all, it's an amazing place to stay and the setup of the hostel and the restaurants and bars is incredible. Great way to see the city and explore Panama City

The Selina Hostel in Panama City, was a great choice after our bout trip from Colombia over the Sun Blas islands to Panama. Great atmosphere, lots of different people from everywhere and excellent facilities. The dorms were spacious and very clean. The rooftop terrace is awesome, there are two bars, a dance floor and even a swimming pool. Last but not least you'll find Andrea at the reception, who first of all is a beautiful woman and at the same time she is responsible for the yoga Session at Selinas. She always provided us with great insider tips and was very friendly and disposable! Highly recommend!

One of the prettiest and more popular Selinas I have ever been. It attracts many tourists from all over the world due to its rooftop which has a bar, a restaurant and a pool. Love the lobby as well. It’s located in a great location in Panama city. I highly recommend it for travelers around the world, especially those seeking to meet other people.

This hostel has an amazing roof top and the common areas are so cool and cozy. I am not a millennial, but I enjoyed the place 😀 the room was more than basic and it was not clean. I was not expecting luxury, but I was expecting cleanness and some details in he room (that was smelly) that could be more in tune with the style and decoration of the hostel.

  • 4/5 Lexsa H. 2 years ago on Google
Super cool place; the people I met were the best part. Some of the staff was a little rude and slow to help, but also some lovely ones. Annoyingly there was people who brought their kids, and were complaining about noise at 10:30 pm. Like this is a hostel for young hip people, not families, so don’t bring your kids and ruin the vibe. Also a club on Saturday nights and the rooftop bar is really loud, so def not family friendly. But so fun if you’re in your 20s-30s and looking to meet other cool travelers

Possibly the worst Selina I have ever stayed in. Bar is overpriced, the food is bad and the noise is unbearable. Also the rooms are very poorly equipped & dark, feels more like a prison instead of a hotel.

  • 5/5 Matthew L. 2 years ago on Google
Great location and my room had an amazing view across the city. The rooftop is the bonus here. Serving up great tacos (with veg and vegan options), cocktails and DJ beats. Only downfall is the acoustics of this place. Anytime someone closes their room door, it’s like a loud slam

  • 5/5 Nicole C. 1 year ago on Google
It was nice to be there, you are able to find places to play and relax with other people. Food at the rooftop delicious, the one at the lobby could be better. The a/c was not cleaned and I had difficulties to breath smoothly in the morning

  • 5/5 Kristine R. 1 year ago on Google
Let's just say we are now Selina guests for life! Do not under any circumstances miss out on the excellent Tacos on the rooftop or watching the sunset on the rooftop are grabbing drinks and listening to music on the rooftop. They always have a welcome drink downstairs in the lobby for you and you can meet people from all over the world while playing pool and grabbing a bite to eat. I simply love this place. We booked a two-bedroom two bath unit that had a small balcony and a large kitchen and I think it cost a grand total of $80 a night. Obviously they have bunk beds but we wanted to do something a little bit bigger and we were very very pleased with what we were are assigned.

  • 5/5 Nicole W. 2 years ago on Google
This is a cool Selina. The facilities are nice, rooftop bar is great, staff are nice and competent, WiFi is reliable and fast enough for video calls. Some of the rooms are a little loud, yes, but not nearly as bad as I expected after reading the reviews. The rooms on the 2nd & 3rd floor are super quiet.

They have good vegetarian food!! Absolutely stunned, only second time i have ever found this in Panama. I hope this provides inspiration to what is possible to other Panamanian food places, amazing, tasty, interesting vegetarain food is honestly possible, helps with long life and reduces negative environmental impact

really cool atmosphere, great staff and great service, clean and comfortable rooms. amazing rooftop terrace. very loud though (party on rooftop and in the street, also loud traffic) earplugs help. ps. yoga lesson is recommended. free walking tour everyday is great, breakfast à la carte is rather expensive

  • 5/5 Mikey M. 1 year ago on Google
Right in the heart of Old Town, great location. You have priority to the rooftop bar, the club downstairs, and there's a nice common area on the 3rd floor. The only downside was it was fairly loud as it was a weekend (and Pride weekend), but you should expect that given its location in the best area of Panama City - and we were given earplugs for sleeping.

  • 1/5 Ryan 1 year ago on Google
Worst hostel in Panama. They tell everyone breakfast is included but it's not. You'll never get the free drink they promise either. I paid for a private room and then later they tried to tell me I couldn't bring anyone into my room. Super gross and disgusting place. You can get way nicer places for way cheaper.

  • 3/5 Sophia F. 1 year ago on Google
Nice location in old town (however, more at the outskirts so beware of the turns you take outside the hostel). Cool roofterrace. Parties and DJ sets every evening and you hear it on every floor. Kitchen not well equipped and full of cockroaches. Dorms are big but have a very damp smell. Some things in our dorm were broken, which however they fixed after multiple reminders.

  • 3/5 Ronnie van G. 1 year ago on Google
We only visited the rooftop bar. The music variety was good. Comfortably busy for a Friday night. The setup is a bit awkward and there doesn't seem to be much seating. Bar service wasn't very friendly when we first ordered, but improved significantly after tipping.

A pleasant hostel; mostly inhabited with young and interesting backpackers from Europe. With a very good restaurant in the Soho-styled ground floor. The rooftop offers spectacular views of the Spanish-colonial section and the modern skyline of Panama City; and its a swinging night time discotheque, at least on Fridays and Saturday nights (the nights I spent therein). This was my second lodging at this hostel. For the first, August 2021, I stayed in a private room with very good and clean accommodations; the second, one week ago and as the host of a USA friend, we stayed in an 8-bed mixed dorm which below par in comparison to the private room mentioned herein; thus, my 3-star rating of "Rooms". The Hostel is located on the fringe of the Spanish Colonial section of the City; it is walking distance to bars and restaurants, and to most of the attractions in that section (Museum of the Canal, the presidential complex, the Metropolitan Cathedral, etc) Overall, very good value for the price charged.

It was really dirty. My bed had all different hairs on it and curtains had mold with stains. I do like meeting other people traveling and that's the only pro but it was really dirty and I have stayed in many Selina's before :( the bed sheets is just bad.

  • 5/5 Lisa B. 1 year ago on Google
I stayed in the women’s dorm hostel. The room itself was spacious and the bed was clean and comfortable. I didn’t feel crowded in there, which was awesome. They provide ear plugs, a lamp, and good charging outlets for the bunks. Shower was hot and had some toiletries, shampoo/conditioner, hand soap. I loved having dinner and café breakfast available on premises since I was just passing through for the night, but it’s also super close to restaurants and a 24-hour mini mart for any other adventures you might choose!

Expectation: Cute family-friendly boho hostel in a nice part of town with fun and relaxing common area. Reality: NOT family friendly. Traveling with my 12, 14 and 16 year old and at 7pm a grown woman in the elevator asked my 16 year old if he wanted to f#%k 😬. It's loud. Very very loud. Huge party scene. Might be lovely if you are young and don't sleep much. It's in a pretty sketchy area of town. The rooms are dirty and nothing, absolutely nothing like the pictures online (posted picture is the 6 bed dorm). Extremely pricey for what you get. They absolutely will not let you check in a minute before 3pm. Pool is not heated. Pros: Staff are friendly. Daytime is a fun vibe. Beautiful views from the rooftop. The food (while overpriced) is delicious. My advice is to only stay here if you are young dont plan to sleep much, like to party until 4am and have lots of money. Many regrets on not booking at one of the luxury hotels for literally half the price :/

  • 2/5 zi p. 1 year ago on Google
It’s a nice place to stay. However it is totally overpriced and the facilities are falling apart. It’s kind of cheaply done but is supposed to be fancy which it really isn’t. We were a big group and 70% stayed at Selina, we couldn’t hang out with our friends at the roof because they weren’t part of the hostel… given the amount of money we had paid to the hostel this was unacceptable. Also they sell you drinks at the bottom and then suddenly you get kicked of the rooftop for buying the drinks downstairs?!?!

One of the best Selina's I have stayed at in Central America. It's in a prime location in Casco Viejo, the suites are really nice, the rooftop bar, pool and restaurant were a lot of fun and you can end the night in the first floor club that stays open till four in the morning. I spent New Years Eve 2023 here and had an absolute blast. I didn't think Panama was such a party town but I would highly recommend visiting this Selina if you want a nice break. The surrounding old town was safe, filled with restaurants, bars, clubs and lots of entertainment options. The staff were extremely friendly and Carlos the rooftop manager took care of us on NYE. In addition, make sure you take full advantage of the walking tour with Yuri. I had an enjoyable and educational time. Thanks for an amazing and memorable time!

I know this is advertised as a hostel, but the reviews make you think it's not truly a hostel. But it is truly a hostel in all its hostel-ness. The location is great. But after that, it goes downhill. First off, the staff is all young, and some are rude. Upon checking in, the two people at the front desk ignored me for a couple of minutes as they were trying to work out something on the computer in front of them, but didn't even greet me. The room was small but didn't feel clean. All of the towels were dingy and stained. We asked for new towels and they were the same. The hotel has a rooftop restaurant and club on top of it, so Thurs-Sat. The music blasts until 3AM. If you're into that, then this is your place. If you value some sort of peace and quiet, then be warned. Coming back into the hotel at night, you have to maneuver through crowds of people waiting to go up to the rooftop club. I wouldn't stay here again.

Do NOT stay here if you want any kind of sleep, they open the roof and the downstairs floor into actual clubs and the music is loud and intense. They do this without telling you before your stay. Stay away

I was supposed to stay a night but ended up staying 30 minutes - until I saw all the cockroaches on the bathroom floor, walls and sink. The rooftop bar has beautiful views though and there seems to be a lot of going on there.

This place looks great, I really loved it here. Good reception staff, cool food and highly recommend Kobi's free walking tour around Casco, he's really hilarious.

Oh boy, where do I even begin with Selina ? Let's start with the positives - the view is absolutely perfect. I mean, who doesn't love staring out into a dark alleyway with a couple of flickering streetlights? The view of Panama City is simply breathtaking. From the towering skyscrapers to the glittering lights of the city at night, it's a sight to behold. Now, let's move onto the speaker quality. To be honest, I'm pretty sure the speakers are just a couple of tin cans connected by a piece of string. But hey, who needs clear audio when you can just yell "WOOO!" at the top of your lungs and pretend like you know the lyrics to every song? As for the actual night out, it was okay. Not great, not terrible, just...okay. The drinks were decent (if you're into watered-down, not overpriced cocktails), and the company was...well, let's just say I've had more stimulating conversations with a wall. And of course, let's not forget the entrance fee. Is it worth it? Eh, maybe if you're feeling particularly masochistic that night. But honestly, you're better off just taking that money and buying a case of beer to drink alone in your apartment while binge-watching Netflix. if you're looking for a night of mediocre fun, Selina is the place for you. Just don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed.

I rented a micro room for two weeks on level 4 in October 2022. I would say I didn't realise it was a party hostel and admittedly was quite noisy early hours to the faintest of risers. I found that all the staff were helpful, minus the manager whom his professional opinion was to begrudge me conversating with a staff member on numerous occasions. Therefore, due to lack of maturity and professionalism from a certain manager, I have dropped 1 star. The food on the roof top was delicious and downstairs menu wasn't too my temptation but I did enjoy the avocado on toast. I found the beverages to be overpriced which had encouraged me to go and explore out of the hostel and I found my perfect hangout spot. So I can only thankyou for this. The room was basic, and has described, I only wanted it for one purpose and that is too study learning Spanish. I would say I am borderline on a high beginner momentarily. I spent time in the study on level 3 and kitchen. I found the kitchen was more social, in all honesty it was cheaper to just eat out. Hence, I cannot really advise on anymore than there was enough space to do a large meal. The study was good but wasn't comfy to study as small tables. Although reading a book on the swing chairs was actually quite therapeutic.

The Roof top is very nice. Good music. It is very international if you want to make connections...Nice Panama View. Good four square bar. You can walk all over the place

If you are looking for a quiet place, then this may not be the ideal option. Until 4 am I could hear loud music from the streets (it didn’t bother me). The staff was not very helpful when it comes to information about the city.

The Delina in Panama City is located in an excellent location in the old city, close to all places of entertainment at night and excellent restaurants. The place has 6 floors, the top floor is a roof with a small pool and a bar and a wide area for sitting and dancing. In the evenings there are salsa nights, parties and more. There are nice sitting areas outside the rooms. The staff is nice and helpful at all hours of the day. Check-in closes at 23:00 at night.

Absolutely not worth it. I can’t understand the hype about Selinas because our room was very expensive and it was a bed in a room with no space to move, no space to put the suitcase. The staff was not really friendly and the worst thing was the cockroach on the bed when we arrived.

I've been a fan of Selina properties for their social amenities and weekend parties, but Selina Casco Viejo takes it to another level! Nestled in a prime location, this gem stands out for its incredible staff. From the front desk to the rooftop pool & bar, everyone has been exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Upon arrival, the room I was first given didn't quite meet my expectations. However, the front desk swiftly accommodated me with a much more comfortable space. When the AC had issues, they upgraded me instantly to an even nicer room—talk about service! The rooftop pool and restaurant are fantastic and the staff are warm and welcoming, even when I'm not splurging on extras. Edgar, the experience lead, epitomizes the Selina spirit—always around, always smiling, and always ensuring guests are having a great time. When I faced a technical issue with my portable monitor, Edgar wasted no time setting me up in a private workstation with a monitor. This is the place to be in Casco Viejo. When other spots nearby are quiet, the rooftop is bustling every day of the week. The privilege of sleeping, working, and playing in one of the coolest places in town has made my trip unforgettable. Highly recommend!

The place is nice! For my prospective too expensive ( a tiny room with no bathroom no breakfast 70$) - but they are working on redefine the price list so check now on internet the current price - and very noisy all night But Cristal who works there was a sweet and supportive point of reference!!

Best hostel I stayed at in Panama. Very spacious and modern dorm rooms with great air con and even a balcony. Excellent location in the old town and near a massive supermarket where you can buy anything. Friendly staff, all amenities. A typical Excellent Selina (unlike the dreadful one in Bocas).

You get what you pay for. I stayed in a studio apartment room. The rooms look very different from the photos online. They could use some deep cleaning all around. The sheets barely fit in the bed. The balcony’s were not clean and had dirt/filth all over them. If you’re a light sleeper, you will hear loud music late into the night Overall, I would recommend staying here if you’re looking to be in the middle of the action. The hostel has a lot going on for their guests, but so does the local area.

My stay has been amazing so far! Hostel has activities for guest to do every day and ever evening. Movie night was a blast and look forward to the salsa 💃 night! I would definitely recommend coming to this location and staying while in Panama City!

Stayed here a few weeks ago and was very impressed with the private room I booked, was happy to pay what I paid - it felt clean, presentable, comfortable etc. Returned for the outward leg of my journey having had a good experience and can’t be clear enough that I was horrified… filthy room, sheets that didn’t fit, stained towels and just generally not at all what I have experienced in all the other Selinas I have stayed it. A complete rip off, terrible value for money and a very unpleasant stay. Won’t be returning

They've all the comfortable and expected accommodations of a Selina - yoga, tours, attentive and available staff. The rooftop is beautiful and gives a fantastic view of the bay. The beds are clean and comfortable, the pool is clean, and the atmosphere is very Selin-esque. The location is great (just don't go wandering almost anywhere around here at night - if not for danger, to avoid the awkward and constant drug offers), right outside of the former walls of the old fortress. Wisely there is a near-constant police post 50 feet from the entrance. The area is striking and worth a visit, and for $20 a night you can't complain much. Nearby to great restaurants, as well as their own Mexican restaurant up top. I've stayed at a few Selinas, and this one definitely requires the most work to come to standard. A door may not lock (or won't open), and the there's a definite edge of un-refinement. The street access is adjacent to a lot of sketchy activity. If anything, I'd say they'd benefit from playing up on this - I mean, if the concierge had a trusted and sponsored plug, I wouldn't complain. If you're cool with a slight rough cut to your travels, but also want a safe place to rest at the end of the day within a particularly picturesque area of Panama City, this is a perfect spot.

The atmosphere is really cool! There's a pool table, common area to hang out, and plants everywhere that make you feel like you're inside a garden. The service is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are a little small and cramped. It's just a bed with an arms length of room on either side and one bedside table. Otherwise a beautiful place!

We do not recommend this place at all. The menu indicated the cocktail prices where 5$ and at the end we paid double the money than the price indicated on the menu. When we wanted to talk to the people who were working there they did were not friendly at all. Worst experience ever and a really bad service as well. Location is nice but that’s the only positive thing I can say about this place.

The hostel is super nice :) Sonia is such a lovely person at the bar. I was sick and she helped me to mix me a ginger juice to make me feel better. I would always go back to the hostel <3

I often stay at Selinas, but the amenities were lacking here. The kitchen is in need of major renovations. If you can get more than one stove eye to work, you’re extremely lucky. Also, the wifi was down for over a day while we stayed there. Usually, I pick Selina as it is reliable, but this one felt below average in this regard. The location is, however, fantastic.

Everything was great, especially the selinas team at the front desk, the bar and animation organized by Edgar. I gave the accommodations a three, because there have been quite some issues with cockroaches and the floors are not really clean. The ventilators has loads of dust and sometimes toilet paper is not included. I stayed in a micro-private room for 8 days, in a 4 person dormitory for 2 nights and a private dormitory for 1. Especially the micro rooms need better cleaning.

very easy to meet new people here on the weekends. They have live DJ on the roof and they have the pool and drinks and everything and a restaurant. The Wi-Fi is really good here I was able to do my remote work reliably and if you want to take any excursions, you can book right in the lobby I recommend going to see the islands for a day or up to three days.

Great and friendly welcome. At the welcomes drink we got a lot of information about the area and the hotel. Where to park, where to rent bicycles, where to find an ATM machine. Very friendly and helpful!

Would not recommend- there are plenty of better hotels in the area. All the AC’s in the hotel are old and extremely loud - there was no ac remote so we could not change the fan speed - meaning our ac was on full fan speed right above our bed - to change the fan speed we had to call a repair man to come with the AC remote and change the fan speed. On top of that, the room was extremely humid and all our clothes were constantly damp. When booking also keep in mind that this hotel is basically a night club every day of the week - we had to sleep in earplugs every night and still felt the bass from the music… the parties last till 4AM. In general the whole hotel is kinda dirty, not well maintained and might be worth it if you pay 30$, not 150$ like we did for our private room. - also the bed sheets didn’t fit the duvet and half of the duvet was sticking out the bottom. + we got the included breakfasts which were awful - you can get a way better breakfast for the same price in the area. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
