Friendly staff - I stayed for a christmas holiday and they offered me drinks and we sorta had a chill party. Clean premise - everything is clean! Clean beds, clean toilets, and clean common area. As a budget traveller, I usually have to compromise on that, but not in this one! Perfect AC - Panamá is a hot country all year long and an AC can be critical. It works awesome. I hate to be bothered while sleeping because of the heat, but the AC was fantastic here. Good location - gun to my head, it's not centrally or best located. However, bus stops are nearby and you can still easily get by. Party scene - one thing to consider is that, the club next to the hostel can be very loud especially at the weekend. So if you are just spending a quick night for your upcoming journey, consider it.

AC is freeeeeeezing cold in the room and the blanket given is thin and short. So make sure you have a sweater/long pants if you stay here. Bathroom is also weird, not really a shared bathroom but one big private bath (at least the one near my room was). WiFi also not very strong in rooms. And no lockers in rooms. The only thing I really liked was the common areas. Overall, Plenty of other options in the city, especially for $15 a night. I’d give this place more stars if it were $10 or less.
