Please Don't go there! If you're looking for a relaxing time forget this place. Room was far from cosy and to top it up there is a book warning you with the fees you'll have to pay if any of the items in the room get damaged, which makes you freak out and feel awkwardly awful and stressed. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was really awful as well, bad quality food which we couldn't enjoy at all. Overall stale bread & buns, cold eggs, The staff were kinda rude and intimidating too. Which over all made us feel very much stressed and awful. There are better options around the city paying the same rate or just little more but you get so much better quality room and better food, pool and better staff hospitality as well.

Great hotel with very friendly staff, clean rooms, good breakfast and good placed in the modern safe District of Panama City. We are here 5 nights in general during in our Panama stay. We left bags for one week after check-out for free.

We had a room in the 9th floor (view from our window posted). Pool was super slippery, be careful, not to mention Cold! The beds were fine, coffee pot and refrigerator in the room. Loved the rainfall shower! The breakfast buffet was decent. I was just observing the lack of disinfecting/ cleaning after someone leaves their table. They just wipe with damp cloth. All salt and pepper at food station, no where to set your plate to use them. Maybe we were supposed to take to our table? On second morning we left on a tour at 5am and I asked the front desk for a to go breakfast (the night before) which they provided. That was great customer service! Box of cut fruits and a ham&cheese sandwich. Thank you! I recommend this place.

I don’t typically write hotel reviews, at least not big chains. But I was so impressed by this one. I’ve stayed at so many different hotels in Panama City in the past seven years, and this one stood out. The room was very modern and spotless. The front desk was friendly. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with a vast selection of different things. Lastly, the central location allows you to get to various places in the city quickly. It all comes at a very fair price. I’ll definitely be back!

Four stars for what it is, a very clean and pleasant place to stay. Cool pleasant foyer. Friendly staff at front desk make you welcome. I don’t think your room will disappoint. Excellent bathroom and shower. The included breakfast is buffet and I would give it above average in both presentation and selection. The lunch menu is diverse and tasty. Well worth a try. There is a nice little rooftop pool with adjoining spa. As for location. There is a world class mall nearby. Only trouble is walking there can be really unnerving. Taxi drivers are perfectly scurrilous. Do not get ripped off! We all have to make a living and UBER is a much better option if you can handle it. Ramada has a good thing going here.

Very friendly hotel. Clean and comfortable. Restaurant with delicious food. Nice outdoor pool. My mother needed a wheelchair and we used all the week, all over the city, no needed deposit or something similar. We were very happy

The hotel itself is quite nice and has a diverse continental breakfast included. However, the biggest reason why you should stay here is because it's an excellent location in Panama City. Just a short walk down the street you can find various high quality restaurants that range from traditional Panamanian food to delicious burger trucks. It's also in a neighborhood that's mostly residential yet you can see plenty of skyscrapers nearby, which makes for an interesting atmosphere. Our room was spotless and the staff were very helpful overall. I would certainly stay here again without thinking twice.

Great position away from the business district and where all the small restaurants are (within 3-4 blocks full excellent places to dine/drink). Also we stayed here because it10mins walk to the enormous Multiplaza for shopping (it’s really big, tons of shops). Had a big spacious room and huge bed. Very clean and well maintained. No mini bar but had a fridge which we filled with wine/water etc. has a small roof top pool, no bar but clean and maintained well. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of choices. The bar area has lots of comfy seats, TV, free internet. At the bar unfortunately the bar staff can’t make cocktails (questionable) but I discovered the local Bilbo’s beer. Very nice. Check-in / check-out smooth and very helpful advice throughout as we arrived during the government protests and staff advices correctly on our safety. Well worth the stay. Oh and Old Town is a $10 taxi ride not $20!! But negotiate first.

High quality beds and everything was just right. This will be our go-to place when we are in Panama City. Breakfast was also very good and the steaks in the evening or much better than expected. The gym is small but with very nice equipment for a complete workout and the pool is just big enough for some lap swimming. Great place and the best value in town.

Bad bad bad owner. This hotel Ramada plaza Punta Pacifica i panama is the worst service I have experienced in my life. The owner kicked us out of the hotel because we ate some seafood from the local seafood market Mercado del Moriscos in panama. I asked permission from the restaurant manager before bringing the food inside. She agreed as long as my friend will buy few bottles of wine. My friend said he will buy few bottles of wine from the restaurant. The owner saw us eat and asked us to pay $75 surcharge. We agreed to pay and then he told the manager to kick us out of the restaurant and the hotel. They kicked us out me and our 4 friends from the hotel. This is the worst experience I have had in panama. He charged us $105 for the wine and $75 for eating at the hotel. This owner of the hotel Ramada Punta is a disgrace to the people of panama. I am not coming to panama any more….Hopefully no one will stay in this hotel. Hopefully no one stays there at this hotel. Honestly the hotel owner does not like people of different race. He was very angry with us for no reason.

This hotel while not being overly luxurious has all of the basics in hospitality covered. The rooms are spacious and modern and extremely clean. The attention was always great. The pool is basic and so is the gym but it gets the relaxation objective done outstandingly. The only bad thing was my room Wi-Fi wasn’t great but I came to discover the last day that it might have been just my room and I should’ve inquired with the lobby, but with that being said the Wi-Fi did allow me to browse albeit slow. The other rooms where my friends were at their Wi-Fi was quite fast. My room came with breakfast included and the breakfast was more on the traditional side when it came to savory options (meat and rice) but it was always varied and delicious. I would totally stay here again the value for the price was superb. The hotel is surrounded by great restaurants walking distance and the mall is a 5 min walk. There are grocery store nearby if you want to get some provisions as the room has a fridge. For people that require covid test to return the hotel has ways to make the arrangements come to the lobby very conveniently. My flight was later in the day and I asked if I can get the room for later and they have a small charge that allows you to enjoy the room for the day, more hotels should do this. I chilled at the pool for most of my last day. So all areas covered and they make it effortless.

I love love this hotel and will be going back on my next trip. This hotel was clean beautiful and relaxing not to mention the food omg amazing. I would recommend to each and everyone you will not be disappointed.

Excellent location in Panama. After having a nightmare situation with the rental car company at the airport, it was nice to get to the hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. The amount quoted thru booking.com was exactly what we paid. Breakfast was traditional and different every morning. All of the staff was friendly and accommodating. Room cleanliness was very welcoming. No complaints will definitely stay here again.

My dear friend of darker complexion stayed here and was treated like a second class citizen. I do not support racism in any way, shape or form. Therefore I will not be staying here, nor recommend it. Very disappointing.

This location is very central and close to everything. A quick Uber drive gets you to all the best shopping, night life and bars. The rooms are clean. Wonderful water pressure in the shower and the water gets hot in seconds. The complimentary breakfast is OUTSTANDING.

Location, location, location! This hotel is in a great neighborhood sorrounded by a mall, supermarkets and great restaurants. Breakfast is good at its price point. My only complaint is regarding the showers, the water sometimes varies the temperature by it self.

This is a new hotel with nice spacious rooms well decorated. Food is great and employees are very nice always available to assist you. It's about 3 minutes of walk from the best San Francisco restaurants and 10 minutes of walk from Multi Plaza mall. The best hotel around!!! Richard & Linda

Clean and comfortable rooms with ample space. The pool area is nice too with a small gym attached. The restaurant downstairs serves a decent complimentary breakfast, but you can definitely hear folks in the hallway.

Thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay. Rooms were perfect and the dining room was excellent from the food to the wait staff. The location was excellent as well.

My stay at the Ramada Plaza Hotel lived up to the wonderful reviews given on the hotel. The fantastic view, wonderful accommodation, welcoming and professional staff, and great food have made me fallen in love with this hotel. This will be my hotel of choice once I return to Panama.

They are located in center of the city. We visited several tourist places from here by Uber. Also, went to Multiplaza shopping by walk. It took 5 minutes walking. The room was very clean, staffs were polite, breakfast was high level. We were very satisfied to have stayed this hotel.

The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are kind and helpful. The buffet breakfast is excellent - all the regular stuff, plus hot dishes that change every day. The bar area is nice too. The pool area is small but pleasant, and wasn't full at all when I was there. Only drawbacks: they need to update their Expedia info, as the manager's reception and airport shuttle are no longer offered. Also, although the room aircon seems to let you set the temperature, in fact the aircon is either off or on full blast.

Rooms as well as beds are big and comfortable. Lovely view. Minus points: no hot shower, breakfast buffet disappointing.

YATZURI AND ROSA AT THE RESTAURANT ARE THE BEST. VERY FRIENDLY. ROOM WERE SPOTLESS. I WILL BE BACK IN 8 MONTH FOR ANOTHER 2 WEEKS.

Very nice spacious room, comfortable, clean and the bathroom with large size shower glass panel is perfect. The roof pool and gym are always clean and well organized with a view on the ocean. This hotel is 2 minutes walking distance from many restaurants serving diversified excellent food and about 10 minutes walking distance from the Multiplaza mall where you find everything from shopping to eating (this mall is the same as Aventura mall in Fllorida!). Breakfast is healthy and very good offering different dishes. Staff is professionnal and always there to help. This is a family-owned hotel and it shows, you can be served in Spanish or English.

If I could name each and everyone from this hotel that made my stay welcoming, comfortable and special it would be too long for me to describe. First I have to say that I suffer from severe skin issues I contacted Patricia the head of housekeeping to explain my situation and she made everything possible which resulted in a very comfortable stay. The personnel in the Fontanella Restaurant are very professional and ready to provide a pleasant dining atmosphere especially during breakfast, the bartender was awesome I asked for a drink he never heard of but he found the recipe and made a perfect Espresso Martini. The reception desk is always ready to help and are very courteous and caring. I will not trade the Ramada Plaza in Punta Pacifica for any other hotel. I will definitely recommend. Very clean rooms.

The location is perfect. There is a good mall in a very short walking distance. You will find lots of stores, and things to chose from. The hotel is great, clean, centric. No to say the least, the view from the room was excellent. Breakfast is included It is good, but it could be better. Finally, pool area is beautiful at night.

Its a great motel with good stuff that speak english pretty well for the area the problem is the placement its kind of far from most touristic places

For a chain hotel, we found out to be very good quality for the price. It's a decent area where there are several restaurants, but most are only open at night, it really livens up at night. An Uber ride to Casco Viejo is super easy and inexpensive. The breakfast is really nice with several options and the staff are super helpful and friendly.

Location is nice but wanted to charge us a great amount for checking in a few hours early. That is not great customer service if the room is already available

I have stayed in many hotels in Panama City and I would highly recommend Ramada Plaza. Rooms were comfortable and clean, housekeeping was great, staff was friendly, breakfast buffet had many choices, and location is perfectly convenient. Above all, services is exceptional!!! I had left something behind at check out and the manager went above and beyond to get it to me after checkout. Without hesitation, we will be back on our next trip to the city!
