Nice Sheraton, with pool, huge gym, and several dining and drinking options. Connected to the aLoft hotel provides easy access to their lobby, bar and dining as well. Rooms are good sized and comfortable. Lobby is spacious but signage is lacking in my opinion. For example the registration desk is not obvious. Staff is all friendly and helpful Location is nice. Closer to airport but 15min taxi to old town . 20 min walk to the mall, several dining options withing 5-10 walk. Grocery store a few blocks away.

Great location and amazing amenities. They have a little shopping center in the first floor next to the lobby. Very convenient if you want a nice coffee with a party or just to buy a nice bottle of wine. The restaurants around the block are also nice and I felt very safe there. The first floor is also shared with a casino but that didn’t seem to be a problem. Breakfast was amazing with an even more fantastic staff. We had freaky brewed coffee and lates as much as needed. Many options for both Latino and European breakfast. Pastries were not the best quality but still my husband enjoyed them. The room was fantastic and huge. The view was impressive. The only reason we don’t give it 5 stars is because some of the things in the room were too outdated like the bathroom and some things included in the room. I would definitely come back!

We had a bumpy start on January 1. They were understaffed and the front desk workers were not giving adequate or accurate information. At check in, the desk was swamped with people waiting for rooms and keys were being given out to rooms that were not clean or even vacant. The concierge was the most helpful by far. We had a room on the club floor and the room was clean but we had to call down for towels and soap as there was none in the room. Club floors came with a lounge that was just meh. Breakfast was fine. Nothing special but fine for those that want coffee and toast. The location is good as there are a number of bars and restaurants within walking distance. We are going back through Panama City on our way back home and have booked another hotel.

I travel to Panama often and I've stayed at this hotel several times so my review includes my experience over about 2 years. Pros: Great location if you are up to walk a few blocks for some great coffee, etc. It's not so touristy as some of the other hotels I've stayed out which is a bonus. In terms of a Marriott the hotel is big and has most everything you need. My favorite part is the gym, it's quite large and I've also used the tennis courts a couple of times. Breakfast is also excellent. Cons: Hotel might be on the older side for some that want the all the updates. Not really a great restaurant onsite, but as noted above, the breakfast is excellent and there is a bakery. I don't like that they took out the tennis store and replaced with paddle store, but I'm biased as a tennis player ;)

I came to Sheraton from the USA to attend a wedding at Salon Baru. One of the hotel employees or 3rd party contractors stole my phone and then took it home with them. All day since early morning my phone pinged through the find my iPhone app at the hotel. I went to security and told them and even showed them the proof, security there did nothing. Then around 7pm my phone started to ping in a residential area of Panama. Seems like the hotel employee got off work and took it home. I went to said residential area and asked if anyone there worked at the Sheraton, an older lady came outside and said “yes, but she’s not here right now”. I would not recommend this hotel to American tourists, they look for what they can steal from you and security nor general management does anything about it which makes me wonder if they are in on it too. Till this day I haven’t received a phone call from Sarah Pardo the manager or Jaime anguizola the security manager with an update on anything. Simple they don’t care about their guests. Attached is a photo of the house where my phone is located which i haven’t gotten back. Most of Sheraton Panama employees live in red zones which tourists shouldn’t even walk through. So good luck keeping your items safe at this hotel.

Hotel room is well-maintained with cleanliness above expectations. Size of room is perfect. Other sizes are available depending on how many people arriving. A few casinos around the hotel with a few bars. Hotel lobby has its own bar too.

The location is perfect, but the service really needs an overhaul. At check-in, I didn't feel welcome even though I have been a loyal Marriott Member for years and hold one of their highest membership statuses. But, a few staff got it and realized that the people who stay are the ones who were essential, like the housekeepers and a few staff from the pool and breakfast buffet.

Great place for jumping off from the airport. Bed & room was very comfy. Woke up recharged and ready to explore the countryside! Only issue was late-night casino people slamming doors all night, bring your earplugs!

One of the worst hotels in Panama city. Terrible. disgusting, rude staff. Rooms are old, smelly, and depressing. The attitude of the entire hotel staff is terrible. Don't waste your money staying in this disgusting hotel. I was on a club level room from check-in to check-out bad and unpleasant experience. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone nor will I stay in this hotel ever again. Executive Club Lounge is pathetic with cheap food. Terrible service, disgusting nasty rude staff

The hotel is in a bit of a far off area however it is safe. The Multiplaza is walking distance about 12 to 15 mins away..and the sidewalk is wide enough. There is a huge supermarket that sells lots of great looking items and the bakery had yummy items. The hotel has a club which serves breakfast bit not made to order eggs. Appetizers and desserts are included. Tennis court, lovely pool and gym/spa room are all great.

The staff at the Sheraton Gran Panama is very helpful. They do their best to support their English speaking guests. The hotel and its rooms are in good shape. The beds are comfortable and the linen was very clean.

SOME staffs were very friendly. The whole place is ok, except for the rooms: they are too small compared to how big can the other places (like dinning room or room for events) be. Because the room is where I spent most of my time, I felt very uncomfortable there because the place was so small not even a sofa fit. Besides, their bathrooms need maintenance.

Staff were outstanding- more Four Seasons type than regular Sheraton Rooms are ok, matresses needed replacement in my room Restaurants were super ! Breakfast was great too.

So let me preface that we showed up without a reservation and eventually got what we needed. We had a terrible flight from Brazil to Panama and decided to stay the night in the city before driving home. We arrived to Panama at 6am and to the hotel at 7am. We went to Sheraton because I have had similar experiences in U.S. and Sheraton always lets us in early when we have early arriving flights. This hotel was very Panamanian, and if you dont understand what that means, it means they have horrible service. 1. They couldn't help us over the phone. 2. When we arrived, the front desk didn't have the ability to make a reservation and made us use a phone in the lobby, which also didn't work. We booked online, but that didn't work because they couldn't see the reservation. Two hours later we finally got the lobby phoen to work and we got a room. 3. We tried to use our Jubilado discount, and they wouldn't honor that. Instead, they gave us a discounted rate more expens8ve than the Jubilado discount. 4. When we asked for help concerning anything with the hotel, for example, the rooftop restaurant that needed a special payment to even enter, we got offhanded explanations and quip retorts...not that type of service you expect from a top hotel brand. 5. Let me say that all the food was good or great quality. The service in Yardline sports bar and Bistro were horrid however. Slow, so very slow.... my wife and I ran out of drinks multiple times, had to ask for condiments twice, and had to get up at least three times and track down waiters. 6. For rooms that are +/- 300 the rooms are horrid... old gross carpet, no wash cloths, just handtowels and body towels, very dark color schemes, just too expensive and not enough value. So all of this is very Panamanian, unless the servers are foreign you get this type of service everywhere..... but I expect more from this brand and price paid.

We had an amazing stay. The staff was very helpful with anything we needed. They had plenty of suggestions for us to explore and places to shop. The hotel had everything we needed and more. Will be staying here on my next trip to Panama.

Great location, service is also very nice , staff is kind and caring, but hotel looks a little outdated, specially the bathrooms and buffet area.

Great place to stay. Rooms are a bit dated but the hotel has a 24 restaurant that’s fantastic and easy access to event space.

In my opinion it’s the best hotel in panama i have more than 10 years in the row staying there and it’s nice because even though the accommodation is a little old the have it well maintained. the food in the 24-hour restaurant downstairs calles las hadas its one of the best in the local panamenian food and nachos . I recommend this hotel a lot. Unfortunately I don’t have pictures to share but take my world for granted

The hotel’s location is not bad, but we have a very bad experience during the stay in this hotel. We ask the room cleaning service before we left the hotel , and we found nothing has been done after five hours. A staff named Jorge from the reception is a very rude person. He issued the invoice with wrong title after we wrote down the name for him. And he said it is our mistake with a tongue of racist. This is the first time we chose Sheraton, and it is also the last time. We will never step into Sheraton again. We have traveled dozen of countries, this is the worst hotel we ever stayed.

The rooms are a bit old but clean and functional. The spa is great, and the gym well equipped. The restaurant offers nice options at a reasonable price.

Nice lobby with shops and restaurants. But not enough chairs and space around the swimming pool, and the few available are dirty!! Dirty cushions also in the restaurant. Very slow service at the restaurant Mostly disappointed... Won't recommend to come here except for 1 night because convenient for the airport.

Excellent place to stay, many restaurants and pastries options inside and close to more restaurants outside, casino, big swimming pool, gym, kids club, etc. Besides the Atlapa convention center if you come for some event. Rooms are very comfortable to rest, good for business and leisure when you are out most part of the day, and some have sea view.

Called the Grand, but not as grand anymore..... runned down hotel and rooms. They are cutting on cost so service and even breakfast items and selections. This hotel needs a multi million make over and good staff training. Management does a lousy job. Stayed here a couple of times the last year and stuff what's boken at the first visit, still broken. Owner has to consider to change management to turn this place around..... I'm not just a regular guest, we owned places in hospitality business for 23 years. Now looking to retire. But know what we're talking about.....

No towels by the pool, slow wifi, restaurants very slow service, house keeping very slow to turn over the room, most customer service employees do not speak english eventhough a majority of the guests do.

Very nice, very clean, the first day we arrived we got to the restaurant 10 minutes before the breakfast was over, the hostess was kind of rude, she looked at her watch and look at was very unhappy and told us to sit on a section that wasn't clean, we went to different section and the server wasn't happy either, he served us our drinks and he never came back, not even once.very disappointed. Next day the staff was very nice and pleased to helped us, and that is the reason why I didn't give them 5 stars.other than that amazing place, very clean, most of the staff is very pleasant, we will visit again.

Excellent Hotel was very well informed staff that are helpful with non Spanish speaking persons. There is a casino on site and the hotel is located in a very convenient part of Panama City. However it is about a 20 to 25 minute ride from the airport.

Always a pleasure staying here. Anytime I travel to Panana City I stay here or at the Aloft which they are connected to. Several restaurants and bars. Great breakfast buffet with omelets to order. Plenty of variety and not a repeat of items each morning. Great staff every time. They go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Great grounds. Awesome gym. Nice pool with poolside service. Food at the pool is delicious. Great bartenders and strong drinks. Security is always on point and makes you feel safe. The staff is always welcoming and personable, including security. Appreciate the elite status recognition and room upgrade. Looking forward to my next stay when I return to Panama. 🇵🇦

The hotel is ok. Rooms are OK, but a bit dated. They could use a renewal. Service at the hotel is slow and below standard. A huge check in desk where only 1 person is attending. During lunch they came 3 times to tell us things weren't there anymore and we had to pick something else. Even things we picked as alternative were out of stock.

The hotel is near the Corredor Sur, so take like 10 minutes from the airport. The Service attendance was good. I stayed with my woman for a wedding party, the party was excellent! They have a delicious kitchen , called Las Hadas, Like The Fairy in English, very famous for the desserts. 👌👌👌 They have a Casino and Pool, close to Multiplaza Mall and in a restaurants area.

This place greets you with such a bad attitude, you'd think it was you who had to be grateful to them for letting you a room, and not them to you for patronizing their business. I arrived last Friday with a reservation, and was greeted with such an attitude that i cancelled the reservation and went to another hotel. They won't be seeing me stay there again in the future, if there is any way to avoid them

  • 1/5 Hao E. 2 years ago on Google
Three star hotel at best. Cramped, musty rooms and the all time record slowest room service in the continent. Unhelpful staff and outdated decor round out a mediocre experience. The breakfast buffet IS NOT what it used to be, however the nachos are very good. Be sure to avoid and dissuade others.

  • 2/5 Roger M. 1 year ago on Google
Hotel has seen its best time a long time ago. Bathroom is more like a basic 2 star hotel, noise isolation of door and windows is not what I would expect from a hotel in that price range and you can clearly hear anyone passing by on the floor as well as loud party music from the outside on weekends.

  • 5/5 Greg W. 1 year ago on Google
Very nice property and a great value. Close to the heart of the city with easy access to the major attractions in the city. Rooms were very nice and the free breakfast buffet was excellent. Also very nice pool area.

Perfect location close to the freeway, which allows you to be at the airport in minutes during the morning, not sure how it's in the afternoon as theres a lot of businesses around.

Great customer service at the reception desk. Itzel and Xochilt were efficient, kind and helpful. Clean and cozy room. Excellent customer service from the Bell boys, the staff at Cafe Bahia, and the cleaning ladies. Excellent venue for a conference/convention/event.

Horrible service and liars. They will overcharge at will, lie into your face and treat you like scam. The hotel restaurant overcharged for the service. When asked where is the quoted price, they couldn't show it anywhere, refused to admit anything and treated horribly, resulting in a stress and bad taste instead of what was supposed to be a good experience. Absolutely shocking treatment from Marriott brand hotel.

Free parking lot. Good service by Waiters. But rest. Las Hadas took 1:30 hours to delivery the food. The sándwiches were really low quality for what they charge you. The dessert part was amazing as usual

No microwave...Key did not work for elevator..went to front desk twice.. she did speak english..She said" I will activate your key again..I said why would it be deactivated in first place? I tried it again and got stuck in elevator with elevator blackout for about 3-5 min..THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE..She called a manager or night hotel head..He spoke or understood no english..Said the panel on the left was no good....Umm.. maybe a sign to say that!! He was clueless to what I was saying..I was freaking out when elevator went blackout..His only response was a yeah..This is awful..
