Fantastic hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and well appointed and the air conditioning is a lifesaver. The room service menu while limited is very well prepared and tastes amazing, especially the pizza. There is a rooftop gym and pool area with great views. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Panama City.

The highlight for me was the service. Wonderful staff all around. Friendly, helpful and service with a smile. The room was spacious and clean. I personally appreciated that the hotel was directly connected to a mall. As I was attending a conference, this allowed me to pop in the mall and do some quick shopping for the kids. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast which got me started each morning.

This property is ideally located to cater to pleasure travelers as well as business travelers, with the bus service at its front door. Having the huge multipurpose Albrook mall at its back door is an absolute convenience. The hotel is clean and that along with the decor makes it aesthetically pleasing. The room was well outfitted, beds comfy and hot water was never a problem in my 6 night stay! I have been, and will continue to recommend Wyndham to friends and family! Can't finish my review without mentioning Diana, she is the personification of concierge, knowledgeable, helpful, patient and gave very valuable and useful advice on places to visit and looked out for my family's safety! A big thank you to Liz, who works with the taxi service which operates from the hotel's lobby, also helpful and courteous and knowledgeable, speaks English really well, that's a definite plus!

Pretty good location all the amenities inside the location are great and the supermarket and full sized smart fit in the mall was great and convenient. People there are helpful and amazing. Only reason it’s 4 stars is from loud construction work late at night inside the hotel that made it hard to get a full night sleep. Otherwise 5 stars.

Ashly was very friendly and helpful she checked my mom and I in and was informative. We also appreciated Luz, our room attendant that kept everything so beautiful. Marion, Juan Carlos and all the valet/security. They always were eager to help, with luggage, our shopping bags or the door. Thank you so much. We can’t stop talking about how perfect our stay was.

Beautiful place, clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They make you feel right at home; "very comfortable." Next to Albrook shopping mall. Will go there again and highly recommend it.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The event I attended was, logistically, spotless. Great food too.

Wonderful experience. The hotel is located outside the main city. It is part of the building that has a very large mall. The rooms are clean, appropriately sized, and very welcoming staff. Breakfast is great as well. Recommended.

Decent rooms. Delicious & generous buffet breakfast. Definitely order adult beverages at the 8th floor pool bar! Ask for bartender Jose A.Torres. Enjoy! He makes great drinks!

It's located inside Albrook Mall; so, there's something for everyone. There's 24 hour room service and there's a café that leads to the mall if you don't want to eat in the restaurant or in the bar area by the pool. The pool is located on the 8th floor and you can see Ancon Hill and the Albrook Airport.

We stay at this hotel every time we go into Panama City from the Pacific beach area. The location is amazing. Service is very very good, there are a number of bars and restaurants. Plus you were connected to the Albrook mall, which is very convenient.

The Marriott Panama Hotel was a great experience. The hotel staff is bilingual and very helpful. The breakfast buffet was absolutely wonderful! The rooms were comfortable and the wifi was pretty consistent! The location of this hotel was also great because it is connected to the biggest mall in Central America!

I hosted a luncheon for about 150 people. The staff had everything ready on time, the food was great, and it was 100% a good experience.

I was here for a gala event to celebrate the 109th anniversary of the Panama Canal; I didn't stay overnight. This event was organized by SAMAAP (the foundation that supports and provides consulting services to the "West Indian Museum" of Panama). Note: During the Canal's construction days (1904-1914), a very large number of folks migrated from the West Indies (Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad-Tobago, St. Andres, etc) to work on that massive endeavor-- including my grandfathers. And, at its conclusion, a certain portion stayed to work for the US Government in its operation, and in constructing and maintening communities, military bases, and administration offices. Both of my grandfathers (one from Jamaica and other from Barbados) stayed and they married ladies from Jamaica; my parents and their offsprings were born here; thus, I am a proud third-generation descendant of "those valiant and resourceful diggers and builders of the Panama Canal", as per the construction chief engineer, Col. George Gotthels, words to the US president Theodore Roosevelt when he visited the in-progress construction work. The US Army's Corp of Engineers was in charge of this project.

Our room had visible traces of mold on the ceiling, not sure if it had already been treated but it did not have a smell or anything. We had problems with getting towels replaced and getting toilet paper to our room. Otherwise, service was good, breakfast was nice and we enjoyed the restaurant as well. Location was also good.

It was a little confusing during checking due to lack of communication from reservations but overall the hotel hospitality was outstanding. A specially Ruben from the dining area, he displayed such professionalism and compassion during his interactions with us. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my peers and recommend them to Ruben. Again thank you for excellent customer service and humbleness. Also, Elvia M. From housekeeping on the 3rd floor, she was very attentive in all my needs. My room was very clean during my stay. Thank you for delivering excellence during my stay.

I’ve booked my wife the suite and breakfast. The suite is fine, but having to fight with the breakfast team to allow 2 slices of tomato and half a salad leaf is just ridiculous. We’re vegan and understand Panama might not be up with the times like the rest of the world, that’s fine. But surely it’s not worth arguing with a guest about 2 slices of tomato.

Kind of aged hotel, definitely needs renovation

  • 5/5 GURU R. 2 years ago on Google
Clean, nice and tidy rooms. Food is also good. It is attached to Mall so plenty of options to shop without going into Balboa city.

  • 5/5 Bonwook K. 2 years ago on Google
Staff is professional, helpful, and friendly. Food is good, hotel is clean and seems higher class than the price suggests. The hotel is also interconnected to the mall, so everything is in walking distance. Would 100% recommend.

Great hygiene. Hospitality is slow. Food is tasty. Serving potions adequate. Indoor pool and gym is wonderful.

  • 4/5 Virendra S. 2 years ago on Google
Had a very nice experience staying there. Staff was very polite. Meal choices were given to us and all meals were good. There is pool and gym on the terrace. Albrook mall is just behind the hotel and u can spend your time there also.

A very mixed experience from the Wyndham, generally a clean well designed hotel with possibly one of the busiest hotel receptions I've ever seen, that said it was very efficient and the hotel porters in the lobby were incredibly attentive and helpful. The pool and gym also were well appointed and a surprising oasis next to the mall and airport. The only letdown of the stay was the hotel sushi restaurant which had attentive waiting staff unfortunately unsupported by painfully slow bar service. I'm not sure I'd stay again simply because it's so busy and far from the city, however the hotel does have a lot to offer and can deliver.

  • 3/5 Jacob W. 2 years ago on Google
The hotel was nice, but we did not get the room we made the reservation under. The pool was nice, and the breakfast had plenty of options, though. Staff was very friendly as well

  • 4/5 Fadia D. 2 years ago on Google
Nice modern hotel with clean spacious rooms. The amenities were slightly lacking but it was ok as the hotel is attached to a mall. Very convenient to go down and get whatever you needed.

Stayed with their Family Birthday Package, excellent price, 2 members were vegans and they were kind enough to set up an appropriate dinner menu for them. Pool area is nice. Staff is somewhat slow but friendly. Valet parking and person handling the luggage are very attentive.

The place is big, clean and comfortable. The gentleman who helped us with our luggage was very nice. The lady who checked us in was another story, seemed unfriendly and bothered, I let my husband finish checking us in due to her unfriendlinesses. King bed was firm and comfortable. Tried the sushi restaurant and enjoyed the food.

  • 3/5 SHIPSTERS 1 year ago on Google
Reception was welcoming. There was no one there to help in taking luggage to the room. They forgot to give me lunch which they promised to give me at my room. Hotel can add atleast add few channels in TV. Food was good. Location is okay, really not the best view from the windows

  • 2/5 Roger M. 2 years ago on Google
The rooms and the bathrooms are spacious. Unfortunately, the beds are without any exaggeration on the level of a cheap youth hostel. They are only 180 cm long, the mattresses are very light and of cheap quality, and the sheets as well as the pillows are also low quality, so it‘s too uncomfortable to find a good sleep. The hotel floor in front of the room is also quite loud and you can constantly hear doors banging and people talking. The hotel has a standard Sushi restaurant, but no other option for food, which is not much for that many hotel rooms in that area. All in all, i found my stay way very disappointing for the price and for what I would expect for around 70 USD per night (without breakfast) and other hotels offer a much better experience and especially way better sleep for that price point in Panama City. I personally will not book again, mainly because of the very cheap quality of the beds.

The hotel was nice, but the pool was not functional at that time, we did not experience the ambiance. Only problem when we had to leave cause we had to overnight the taxi did not return for us.. luckily the company sent a taxi Nd covered the cost to the airport...

  • 4/5 Murad I. 1 year ago on Google
Decent hotel with very convenient location next to the Albrook mall. Not many food options if you’re from North America. Elevators are weird and confusing as it takes a while to figure out if it’s going up or down. If you like futbol ask for a room with the view of the hill and the field and you’re in for a treat…

  • 4/5 Aniruddh K. 2 years ago on Google
Hotel is very good compared to other hotels in region. However there veg meal needs an improvement or a few more additions. Had 3 same consecutive meals as that was the only option available.. Channa masala n naan.. !

I had the chance to stay here for a few days and everything was very good. The rooms are spacious, clean and with all the desired facilities for a good stay. Room service is working fine, the front desk is always there and the hotel's restaurant has good to great food. Prices are above average but it is what you pay for.
