👍👍 Our guide told us that this spot is the best coffee in Panama. They’ve won awards! Beautiful location and relaxing atmosphere too. I enjoyed an iced latte in a pretty, soft, frosted glass while waiting for the rain to pass. I didn’t try it but hear the geisha coffee experience is a must do. People often mention coffee, good, geisha, experience, Sisu, Geisha, great, shop, Panama, pour,

Awesome coffee shop! Very clean and modern design with urban elements and greens. Was not the best coffee I had in Panama, but good enough. And great presentation. Would recommend to stop by!

My wife and I travel the world trying coffee shops. We have been to shops all over Latin America, some in Africa, Asia, and all over the US. I do not say this lightly, but Sisu is my favorite shop that I’ve ever been to! We knew nothing about Sisu when we stepped in but it now holds a special place in our heart! Sisu has exceptionally high quality coffee and tea beverages in store with award winning baristas. They grow and roast their own coffee and it is some of the best I’ve ever had! Their coffee shop is beautiful, calming, and very inviting. Their workers are also very hospitable! Sisu is owned by a world renowned coffee estate that supplies some of the best shops in the world with their coffee! I couldn’t have been more impressed with Sisu! Go out of your way to come! Do not leave without trying the Geisha on a pour over!

If you are looking for a great coffee experience in Panama City, visit this place. The vibe is great, friendly staff with experience and knowledge of their craft and the design of the shop is very stylish. Usually I ask for an Americano, but they recommended me the traditional pour over style instead of the usual. The coffee was different than what I was expecting, soft on the tongue, rich in flavor and great aromatic scent I have enjoyed my new kind of coffee in the studio while observing people at work or having a date, with a mellow music. Come and enjoy the coffee experience!

THE place to go for the best Panamanian coffee. The owner of this coffee house owns three estates that make the best geisha and premium coffee (Elida, El Burro, and Luito Geisha). A regular latte is powerful and delicious. For a rare experience, try its drip geisha coffee. It’s velvety texture and complex notes will impress and charm. Coffee beans, $30 for a small bag of geisha beans, are available for purchase. A wonderful souvenirs for the coffee aficionados!

Nice little space. No trio (flight) option of different Geisha coffees. Feels humble for what is a well known and expensive coffee shop. A class was going on in the back- with some neat teared seating options. Coffee is good. Communication is difficult- if you don't know Spanish. Ultimately not my favorite space or vibe. With the prices being so high and the decor not so good- it doesn't match up. A normal bag of coffee however- 8 dollars is a good price. And that coffee is high quality too. -with roast dates on bags- No roast date written out on Geisha, which is not okay in my opinion.

I had a cappuccino with some local plant based milk. Looked nice, but it was really bad.. I am not sure if something was wrong with the milk, but it was really sour and bitter. Didn’t feel welcomed by the staff so didn’t go tell them to be honest. I’ve tried many coffees in different places, so really think something was wrong. Paid almost 5 dollars for it :-( Would not try again, which is a pity because the coffee place looks like it really knows good coffee (also read so in the reviews). Maybe just not order the plant based milk…

Wonderful place for pour over coffee, and the cafe is cozy too. The employees are very friendly and speak English, so it was nice being able to ask questions and communicate what I wanted. The geisha coffee is a must try!

Beautiful Café with a delicious cold brew, low on acidity but strong in taste. The place as such is really designed beautifly and the service was super friendly. It has self service.

Not much of a coffee drinker but was told I had to try the geisha coffee. @ $9 it seemed mighty over priced but it was an interesting experience. The flavor is almost fruity and didn’t have that same caffeine kick regular coffee tends to have.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Sisu Coffee Studio and was blown away by the quality of their Geisha coffee. It was incredibly smooth and fruity, with a pleasant finish that lingered on my taste buds. The cafe's atmosphere is minimalist and welcoming, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy coffee. The staff were all friendly and spoke English and Spanish fluently, making the experience more enjoyable. The cafe's decor is mainly cement and executed elegantly, which shows that the owner takes great pride in their family estate business. Overall, I highly recommend Sisu Coffee Studio to anyone looking for a great cup of coffee in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

I had a mission to taste the Gheisa coffee that day. The quality of the Gheisa coffee was excellent. It was smooth and fruity, not bitter and not even a little sour. If you want to try it, but something is stopping you: Just do it! Try this heavenly pour-over, you won't regret it. As a cappuccino lover, I had to try the cappuccino next. It was served just the way I love it - with a bit of foam and nutty coffee flavour. Sisu Coffee is located in a building with a modern design. I immediately felt at home.

You can perfectly combine a great cup of high quality coffee with a tasteful cake or biscuit..Also there are options for food but i think a bit overpriced..Perfect decoration and a calm place for relaxing or working..

Beautiful space, concise menu, beautiful presentation. Definitely a feast for the eyes yet still minimal. Service is a bit slow compared to other places here (think it may have to do with how compact their barista/kitchen area is) but still good. Definitely a place to sit, relax, and enjoy the experience. Not a quick grab and go coffee spot).

The ambiance, food, coffee, and location... everything to die for!! Enjoyed every minute we spent there! We tried open shawarma, geisha coffee, sandwiches... everything was amazing.

  • 1/5 Konrad L. 8 months ago on Google
The breakfast sandwich is a plain taxtless and loveless bun topped with an egg and costs $11. The coffee macchiato is a two sip coffee. Apart from the very unfriendly service, nothing impressed me. Totally overpriced for nothing.

Great spot! Delicious coffee, attentive service and a beautifully decorated and designed space. We had the geisha coffee and the Nutella pastry. Yum!!!

This is where specialty coffee geeks like me HAVE to come. An amazing coffee experience by the Lamastus, Sisu is a little jewel in Casco Antiguo to enjoy the best from this family. Make sure to make a space while visiting Panamá to relax, chill and enjoy a great cup of coffee from Sisu. Also, take some back home.

The quality of Sisu's Geisha coffee was outstanding. It was incredibly smooth and fruity yet not acidic. If you are new to coffee or pour over, I'm sure their geisha coffee would convert you to become a coffee lover.

Sisu is the cutest coffee shop in Panama, the atmosphere, coffee, and desert options are unmatched. The location was perfect too as we were able to explore Casco Viejo immediately afterwards.

This was a nice place to stop for coffee - I got an iced latte which was okay, but it was definitely much more expensive than other coffee spots in the area. The cafe itself is beautiful.

  • 3/5 Guy Z. 10 months ago on Google
To be honest, a bit disappointing. The cortado was nice (nothing amazing), and the pastry we purchased tasted like it was heated in a microwave straight out of the fridge (there were very cold spots within it).

We tried the unique geisha pour over and bought the beans too. Great spot!

The best coffee experience I had during my visit to Panama! Great coffee and wonderful baked goods to eat, some even designed to be paired with specific coffees. Such a good experience and well worth a trip to this part of town alone.

The place is quite a work of art in terms of architecture and design. The minimalism of this place is even present on their menu, but definitely not on the check. We got charged $40 for a couple of simple egg sandwiches with bottled juice.

Excellent espresso and cookies. Very friendly staff. Probably the best cafe and coffee in Panama.

Award winning Geisha coffee (most expensive coffee other than poop ones) ($9 for a big cup) very unique taste. Worth the try for sure. Small coffee shop with good wifi. Also sell small bags of coffee to take home.

This place has clearly revamped itself and I experience the best coffee here on my journey through Panama. The space is modern, open, industrial/minimalist, but for me, it felt too sterile.

Absolutely best place to work in Panama. The Humus and bread is amazing and the geisha coffee is best coffee i’ve ever tried. Recommend the coffee lessons they have. Best, Antonio

My first coffee tasting experience and I'm sure it will be my best. Wilford the the owner whom gives the class is amazing we went through the complexities of coffee and tried their speciality that they grown on there farm. one of the most expensive in the world, geisha coffee. This is a must do experience you will learn so much and best of all you will meet Wilford whom is so passionate about coffee it's been in his family for generations.

Great coffee served by great people. I have been 3 times to Sisu since they openned (like 2 weeks ago). I keep going because of the great food, coffee and atmosphere. I am so happy they openned in Casco so many tourists can experience how great Panamenean coffee is.

  • 4/5 Randy M. 1 year ago on Google
Nice place, nice view, but the coffee recipe used for pour overs produced a beverage that was a little bit over extracted. Tried their Geisha, and their coffee helped them a lot to cover the sporadical deficiencies of their barista/brewista.

This is by far the best Artisanal coffee shop in Casco Viejo. From the coffee latte to the Geisha pour over, everything is amazing in this mix of modern with old Panama. The chef makes magic in her tiny kitchen. Must go place!

We stayed just up the road and so this was my first port of call when we checked in. Amazing cool looking cafe, the whole vibe is wonderful. Not the cheapest but the coffee was superb - their “mylk” is really good too (I believe it’s a blend of cashew and almond). Definitely worth a visit if you like your coffee.

We stumbled on Sisu while walking around Casco and decided to stop in on a Friday morning for a cup of coffee. I had their Geisha pour over, my mom had a hot latte with soy milk, and my husband had a hot chocolate. He also had a chocolate chip cookie, which was very good. The coffee was good, but I think I prefer the Geisha blend at Cafe Unido more. Their regular coffee is very good though, so we ended up taking a bag of their estate beans home. The aesthetic inside the cafe is on point and if this was a coffee shop in NYC, it would be popping. It is a no-cash spot, so you'll need card or contactless payment.

The atmosphere is perfect. Hands down the most beautiful coffee shop I’ve ever been to. We got the cappuccino and cookie combo and did some work for hours. So good we plan to return tomorrow.

A wonderful place for coffee 5 stars! Nice Cappuccino…but too noisy (employees talk too loud and sassy) to hear my meeting with Earphones…& the washroom was mysteriously occupied for two hours, couldn’t get in… This is Panama…not NY…that’s not an excuse…

Exquisite coffee and pastries in a wonderfully decorated and modern place. A must go while visiting the Casco Viejo.

I only had the geisha coffee and it was great! You don’t even need sugar. That’s how you know the coffee is good. Unlike American coffee lol

  • 4/5 Benedetta Jasmine G. 1 year ago on Google
Excellent coffee but super small servings - a latte should be 10-12 oz, and I’d be shocked if their “latte” cups hold 8oz. Staff is very kind and friendly. The pastries and the bread looked really good too, might go back to try them :)

  • 5/5 Michelle G. 4 years ago on Google
Tried the award winning geisha coffee as a pour over here and it was wonderful! The barista was very friendly!

Sisu means “rejoice” in Hebrew, and I noticed some Israeli items on the menu (shakshuka, shawarma, hummus)—so we felt right at home. The food is incredible—we got the sourdough with hummus, brisket sandwich, and matcha lattes. Excited to go back and try the Geisha coffee. Best breakfast we had in Panama.

Coffee was good but I think pour over at Mona Coffee has a smoother profile. Prices are 1.5X from other locations. Mini burger and cakes are very good!
