We went for breakfast and the food was cold and not fresh. The bacon had a very weird almost seaweed taste to it which was gross. It did not taste like it was freshly cooked. Was disappointed because we chose to go here based off all the great reviews.

Had the French toast with eggs and bacon yesterday morning and it was outstanding. The only difficulty we had was finding a place because we were looking for a super G deli but instead it’s housed in the building called Casa testa. While I was ordering my French toast I noticed a young lady making a beautiful Italian sandwich so I made a note of that and we came back here for lunch just enjoy that beautiful piece of gastronomy. Great espresso place with awesome breakfast. This shop was across the street from my AirBNB. They serve a delicious high end medium-dark roast Panamanian espresso and food (I usually got their omlet) cooked with care. Chill atmosphere, friendly family like vibe. Very reasonable pricing. Luckily my wife read a blog about some of the best places to eat in Panama and we came here. The prices are low and the home cooked-style food is AMAZING!! Seriously, it was really good. As an added bonus, they sell all sorts of high quality wine, liquor, food items and spices that you can only find in New Orleans. Im extremely happy about that and will make this a regular place to eat while I’m here.

The owner, Blayne, was very friendly and spent several minutes chatting with us. He had many useful suggestions and it was nice to talk to someone whose first language is English. The offerings were eclectic as it is also a market and liquor store. The food was excellent.

The is a deli and specialty market focused on the tourist class and expat residents. The food is of a higher quality in general, especially compared to some local dishes. No Fonda will say grass fed beef! They have several chocolate brands from Panama. Not my favorite NoMe, but very good quality. They have a lower cost cup of geisha coffee than some places if you want to try it. The owner has been around for awhile and has some good stories on what the area was like.

Delicious Arepas and Empanadas and Lentil soup! They have homemade lime pie and banana bread. The store has some good items too albeit small selection. Wine, liquor, almond milk, almond butter, handmade lotions, creams, chapstick to mention a few things. Vegetarian options are available too. Staff was super friendly.
