I noticed the place in passing and was drawn in from the street. For my first visit, I enjoyed a delicious latte, a wonderful pizza, and a slice of carrot cake. Service was good, and the food was delicious. The indoor space is trendy and has a small market of clothing and goods. There are a few tables inside for dining. Things were a bit expensive, but it was delicious and I would go again.

One of the best expressions shot in my life. You can mix with hot chocolate and you get perfect mocha :-)!

A very hip and fun social-media-savvy cafe & Panama gift shop in the heart of Casco Viejo. I have visited this place on two different trips and left with unique Panama-made goods to bring home as gifts. And had a lovely experience with the helpful store employees both times as well. They all spoke English very well, (although I do prefer to speak Spanish, I mention for practicing Spanish speakers,) and they are eager to answer questions about their coffee and other products in the store. I have never eaten in the cafe, but the coffee looks good. And the atmosphere is very Casco Viejo with the original restored Spanish tile from pre-1900’s. And the mural on the wall is an Instagram must have. I forgot to take photos of the great finds; coffee, chocolate and this gorgeous scarf while inside the store. So some of the photos are from when I got home to show the great items. All reasonably priced and how fabulous is that scarf?! If walking around Casco Viejo, make time to pop in. You won’t regret it.

An amazing Geisha experience at Lumaca, so far the best coffee and barista. Mauro explained all the history about Geisha coffee and the tips for its preparation (V60 method).

Amazing place, wonderful Best cafe ever and they are heaving a big big heart as well. They foster this so cute stray dog. If your ever in the neighborhood, you should definitely stop for a cafe and to check the sweetest puppy ever

I didn’t think it was possible to have waffles, guava bread, and black coffee all score a 5/5 in one sitting but here we are… Lumaca was so good That it’s unfair I can’t experience this until I come back from the states. The only con is that this will ruin it for you when your try food at other places bc of how hard it is to find food this good lol. I will say I wasn’t a fan of the empanada but it was ok. But then again I tried like 4 empanadas at different places and didn’t love any of them. Maybe I just don’t like Panamanian empanadas? Idk

I just removed Lumaca from my favorites :-( reasons: Geisha Expresso tasted like burned coffee (and I love Geisha), empanada came out half cold, mom's matcha tasted like a synthetic blend, employees showed zero interest in improving our experience. I hope they get better again soon!

Very Chill and tranquilo compared to other cafés around here i entered.Prices were also more reasonable. I tried cappuccino with Geisha coffee and it had very interesting soft and fruity flavor, have never had coffee like that before 🤩

Coffee shop is very good , cappuccino’s are great here and also they have freshly squeezed orange juice which is very very authentic in taste. One should visit this place just to get that juice .

Worst empanada of our life. Mocha and loaf cake were good.

Best coffe in casco, doubles as cloth and souvenir store. Get a geisha coffe bag, the best cofee. Seating is limited, and my table wobbled. Bath is small. The place is not kid friendly.

Staff watched us take a few minutes to decide what coffee to get only to inform us they were not serving any coffee since the machine was broken even though we wanted pour overs (no machine necessary).

The absolute best place to sit for a quiet coffee or beer to escape the hustle and bustle of casco viejo outside. Super friendly and welcoming staff, great music, and the Lumaca pizza is out of this world.

Good place to grab a quick bite when you are walking Casco or to spend an evening with one or two friends. The prices are okay maybe a bit lower than most places around the area. There are probably no more than 4-5 tables. They have some TVs and playing music at good volume. Staff is nice.

Coffee was very good, if smaller than expected. Prices are reasonable for Casco. Good air conditioning and nice decor, plus a small shop attached.

Very strange and uncomfortable experience. My partner and I stopped in to try Geisha brew today (Thursday, October 5 - morning) and very quickly felt unwelcome. When ordering coffee, the barista kept laughing at my husband. Our Spanish is certainly not perfect, although we have managed over the last few weeks in Colombia and Panama City. It just felt like we were being spoken and laughed about. The bathroom sink was also not working and there was no sanitizer in sight. I asked the barista for sanitizer and both baristas began giggling and provided me with alcohol cleaning spray. I noticed the barista kept wiping her nose and wiping her hands on her clothes. Overall, very strange and felt like we had burdened the workers.

👍👍 This place is great. Our server Dante was perfect. He recommended the popcorn chicken Mac & Cheese & it was ‘sooo’ good. The chicken is crispy, covered in cheese with the macaroni underneath. Every bite was sensational. The quesadilla is a must. It has fried chicken, fries & some ‘flavorful’ sauce...

👍👍 A high-end rooftop bar, pool and restaurant at the edge of Casco Viejo. The vibe is lively and cool so dress in your summer best. The outdoor seating on the terrace offers the best views and must be booked ahead of time. We celebrated our 10yr anniversary here and had an amazing time. The cocktails...

👍👍 Best food I’ve ever had. And that’s saying a lot for me. Price matches the quality of the food. Quantity could be slightly better. Although for what you get, it isn’t too bad. Food comes out as its finished. So no waiting for all entrees to hit the table simultaneously. Which is a plus! Highly reco...

👍 The place was dark, the crowd was young. At the time some of the food selections were not available mostly reggaeton and reggae music. Reservations are a must. The food was good and well seasoned.
