In our opinion, Danilo’s Jazz Club is a wonderful place to visit in Panama’s Casco Viejo.

Great place. Top notch jazz in an intimate setting. Great food, great drinks. Inexpensive by USA standards.

Awesome place, rather expensive but I'm willing to pay more for to listen to professional musicians, particularly the salsa I used bands and salsa-latin infused bands. Drinks are tasty and effort is being made, food is mostly typical unhealthy Americanized fried food(fast food). We go there for the performance and drinks, as well as salsa dancing which happens later in the evening. There is a small area for dancing though. I rather dance here than in the crowded noisy casinos with reggaeton a.k.a rakataka music as a side kick and lousy and slow service. Highly recommend Danilo's Jazz Club.

Music was fabulous. Kind of weird ending. Employee came and told singer to rap it up and we were all told to settle our bill and leave. No explanation given. Felt like a speakeasy being raided. Very disappointing way to end what was a great evening! Hence a 4 instead of a 5 rating.

Armando Mena and his band. A wonderful night of jazz. We enjoyed this place.

I was having big hopes for choosing this place. I love jazz and old, classic atmosphere. I had a reservation at the hotel and I arrived earlier with positive attitude. First the concert already started. I was on my time, but hotel misguided me of one hour. And there was no program, no website, no information. Ok, well.. there was no table for me of course. The music was no jazz (as supposed to be) and the atmosphere was not the greatest - loud, colorful, with laughter and LCD monitors.. Not this atmosphere I was expecting.

Overall, it’s a nice place. The service was good. The waiter tried to pour drink for me almost whenever my glass was empty. My only problem was that the lighting for the stage seemed too bright

Inside the American Hotel. Nice venue in the heart of Casco. Its a great location and live music venue spot. Been coming here a few years. Bounce out, walk through Herrera Plaza and finish off at Casa Casco rooftop.

They have regular live jazz concerns with different themes on different days so do check out their website for updates. The ambience is great so is the performance. Entrance fee is USD 15. It's a great alternative of night life in Panamá City. The surrounding area (Casco Viejo) is quite happening too.

Always a good option in panama night life. Delicious food, nice drinks and the best music shows in the city. Especially if you go in the Jazz Music Festival time.

The place is right at the heart of the colonial area of Panama's casco antiguo. The historic building has been restored very well from the inside and outsinde. It's a beautiful example of the houses in the Casco Antiguo. The bar itself is a bit pricy though. Portions on the dishes are very small and a bit more pricy than fancy. Don't forget to bring along a thick jacket, air condition is cooling down to freezer degrees...it seems like a tourist only place. The jazz concert was fine though and we heard local jazz musicians playing typical jazz standarts in a quite professional manner. I thought, it was a bit too much lined up to cliches.
