Been in Panama city for 3 weeks and this is easily my favorite bar I've visited. Not too pricey or upscale like Casco. It has it's own vibe and the locals are welcoming. Will be back on multiple occasions.

Chill place to be a few hours, on Fridays tho it becomes more like a club rather than a bar and that's ok both facets of the business are pretty cool.

A cute unsuspecting spot. If you come early in the night time on a Tuesday like I did you’ll probably have the place to yourself but it looks like the spot becomes super lively at a certain time. I ordered one of the vegan burgers and it was delicious. The two ladies that were working were very nice and helpful. Overall if you’re looking for a vegan burger and a nice chill spot then this is the place for you. Would love to come back and experience it when it comes alive.

A cool, comfy and cozy place to go and hang out with people. Usually it's very chill and they have some awesome cocktails. The sotano which is on the ground level is more for live performances and loud music :)

I have been there (@ el sotano) a couple times;there was a band doing a tribute to radiohead. The space is little, but very nice. They play all sort of music, but it mostly rock and alternative centered. Often they have local bands playing. The food is ok, and the drinks are on the pricy side... maybe try and eat something before you go there, and you can get the beers there.

One of the best places in Panama to hang out with friends or meet new people. Great service, very nice place and good music if you are NOT into tropical genres... rock, pop & electronic, it's what you can expect. You can't go wrong with El Apartamento and El Sotano (same place, different spaces).
