We received an upgrade to a suite and stayed here for a week. There were some improvements but this was generally an excellent stay. Pros: - Quality of the food at the restaurant/breakfast buffet was excellent, as was the 24/7 room service - Pool is a bit small but has great views and was always quiet when I went - Staff are quite friendly - Suites are fantastic, spacious with a good bath and a large shower - Beds are comfortable - Laundry was done to a high standard and quickly - Elevators were quick and never had to wait more than 30 seconds - Regular room cleaning to a high standard - Excellent location within Costa Del Este - No mildew or damp smell. This can be a problem in Panama since it’s very humid, but this place smells neutra Cons: - Some of the service at Happy Hour in the restaurant can be a bit uneven. Two times we ordered drinks or food and the servers clearly forgot about it. Servers are very friendly but should start to write down orders instead of trying to memorise everything - Coffee at breakfast is great but not always as hot as I’d like, maybe they should have new flasks rotated more regularly or have higher quality ones that retain heat better - Non-suites are fairly small

This hotel is very nice. Breakfast spread is great. Rooms are spacious and lots of places to walk for dinner. Staff is attentive and helpful with any questions you might have. Loved my stay here and felt safe.

Went for the brunch special. Good variety but the food wasn’t that spectacular. Being a brunch you’ve got to have a theme so that the different items match, but they had a half plate of Panama breakfast, US, Continental, etc. Someone needs to work on the menu.

Best place in Ciudad del Este. Very good buffet Breakfast, great service, very clean and comfortable rooms. If you get a view to the beach it will be just great. Recommended! Enjoy

Excellent business hotel. It is on the expensive side but is one of the best breakfast services in that area. Unfortunately, the pool is really small and very cold. The gym is awesome and the modern design and look is captivating. There are some details about the rooms and the parking area that could be better but they are almost insignificant.

Overall positive experience, the hotel is well located, good breakfast and 15min accessible to the airport. It is however the first time, a hotel couldn't provide me an electrical adapter they asked me to buy it instead, and I found it inappropriate given the price we pay for the hotel. My room safe was not working, so I was obliged to carry my passport always with me.

I am giving it a 4 star because i stayed at hilton for 4 days in panama city right before this. And they are 10 out of 5 in every way. At westin the room were less cleaner, i can see stains on carpet and curtains and even on the couch, god knows what the stain were. Also, the room smelled like cigarettes. Allthough it says non smoking. The staff was not very happy at hosting. Only thing that matched with hilton was the quality of food. Food was really good at this place. They need to improve/redecor their rooms.

I Booked that Hotel and I can assure you. The service is great and fast, staff is very professional. They have a large variety of Breakfast meal available. the room is cleaned and it is very well secured. I recommended it

The service is excellent. Staff is cordial, pleasant and concerned.cleanliness is really great. Reception staff is helpful, smiling and cooperative. Room service food ordered late night was delivered quickly. The taste of food, I ordered Mexican soup was just right and was served at hot temperature (mucho caliente) perfect late night after a long flight. Ambience, decor, variety in breakfast menu is good. You can buy a variety of local panamanian ground coffees at the bar to take home and enjoy coffee at your leisure. I have stayed here earlier as well. Location is very convenient on a nice street. I would definitely stay here again in future.

This was a really nice and comfortable hotel. Needs a little update but still, you can tell they have taken good care of it. My room was really spacious and well illuminated. The bed and pillows were so good! I ordered room service and the food was good. And also the breakfast buffet had a good variety of options, and good quality food. The gym is well equipped with all the basics. Again, needs a little update, but everything works well. Definitely will stay here again.

Excellent rooms and room service. The food is excellent. Well situated in upscale part of Panama City.

Nice place. Terrible service and management. The nightly price wasn't the issue. It was the over priced "not included" additional charges that we found frustrating. Things like free transportation from the airport... but pay your own way back. Charges for deliveries... "breakfast included" except check-out day... and on and on. We will not be back.

A pleasure to be here after coming from Costa Rica where the hotels where full of unprofessional employees. At least I could rest without being afraid of being robbed. Come to Panama instead to the overrated Costa Rica and experience the Caribbean atmosphere and the forest in a different country where you feel by far safer.

Excellent hotel. Great breakfast buffet and ultra friendly staff. The door man, Franklin, is exceptionally amazing. Very hospitable and accommodating. I will definitely recommend to others and visit myself again.

All you’d expect from a big chain hotel group. Nice meal buffets with large selection, nice rooms with enough space. Was here due to flight cancellation.

Amazing hotel, very good location, amazing food and great service

Good location; but the service was far from expectation; the check in is at 3pm, but we arrived at 3:05, and rooms are not ready, and don't know when would be ready, people have to wait in the lobby until further notice; plus amenities in the room cannot be more basic, there is no toothbrush/toothpaste, you need to buy it from across the street; far from what you expect of a 4 star hotel;

Just came here for the brunch buffet. The food was ok, and it was very kid friendly, a specific food station. Service was good.

This Westin has undoubtedly the worst gym of any Marriott property I’ve ever stayed in. The gym’s weights area has been completely neglected, machines are all old and cheap (think of the combo machines that are good at nothing) and in the free weights area the benches (a super cheap piece of equipment to replace) are falling apart, wobbly even when used flat, and unable to reliably hold an incline position. Marriott should be embarrassed. Would cost very little to remedy this.

I am leaving this bad review because the security is extremely rude.They won’t help you with anything and they will look at you wrong. I had a friend that went to a party and the forced her by arm to leave while she didn’t do anything. I do not recommend this hotel it’s horrible please save yourselfs from a nightmare.

I stay here every time I'm flying into Panama as a stop over to David, Panama. Always great service from the staff who are friendly, helpful and go out of there way to make my stays pleasant. Eric at the front office in my last stay on August 26th was very helpful to make sure my visit was pleasant and Mary Teresa who is the front desk manager always goes above and beyond. The location is also very good with parks and restaurants within walking distance. This kind of service is hard to get these days - so it's very appreciative.

Check-in was flawless. Service all over was awesome. My only problem was the layout in my room The view was amazing but the door into the bathroom couldn't be left open to reach the shower. Seemed a little crammed but overall a beautiful hotel with great views!

I went for a Spa Service, after 15 min waiting at the reception, no one came out, so I left as I wanted to use the hydrotherapy before my massage and there was not much time left unless I hurry which is all the opposite ro relaxing…. only app times are in the AM nothing after 2 pm, friend of mine had an app at 6 they called to reschedule for earlier…. Really not what I was looking for
